Breeding with Shiny Ditto

Can I breed my shiny Glaceon, Shiva with the center's shiny Ditto?

Hrm... if you really want. Remember, it costs much more money to breed with the Ditto. You have to post in character, rather than just 'Kairi breed Shiva with Ditto'. You'd have to spend a few posts with Shiva getting to know Ditto first. Seriously. Pokémon don't just breed with random strangers. And you won't get as many eggs with the Ditto as you would if you waited until you had an Eevee of your own to breed with.

Kairi walked into the center with Pikachu on her shoulder, Shaymin in her arms and Shiva walking beside her. Shiva had no clue why they were here, but she knew it had something to do with her. +So, this is the breeding center huh? Can I breed here as well?+ Shaymin asked.

"Nope, sorry. I know a Shaymin is able to breed. Your one of the few legendarys that can breed. Only trouble is the only legendary they allow to breed is a Manaphy. Whatever that is?" Takes out her Pokedex and looks up Manaphy.


It is born with a wondrous power that lets it bond with any kind of Pokémon. Born on a cold seafloor, it will swim great distances to return to its birthplace. Water makes up 80% of its body. This Pokémon is easily affected by its environment.

"Wow! But what is this Pokemon that looks just like it?" Kairi said confused as she flipped over to the next Pokemon beside it. +It looks like it's child,+ Shaymin said looking over her shoulder at the pink colored Pokedex.


Phione, the Sea Drifter Pokémon. Phione lives in warm oceans. It inflates the flotation sac on it's head allowing it to float on the waves and look for food. It drifts in warm seas. It always returns to where it was born, no matter how far it may have drifted. It is said that Phione is Manaphy's child but doesn't evolve into Manaphy.

"Doesn't evolve into Manaphy! That's strange. Hmm, if it's Manaphy's baby form it should evolve into it. I'll have to ask the Professor about Phione and Manaphy later. Phione's so cute! I'd love to catch one, one day," Kairi said getting excited.

Pikachu pointed to the counter,"Pika pikachu?" Kairi turned,"Oh! Right! I almost forgot why we came here in the first place," she bend down to Shiva's level,"Shiva could you breed with the center's shiny Ditto please, so I may get more Eeveevolutions?"

Shiva thought about it. She was kinda anergy that her trainer wanted her to breed with a complete stranger. A Pokemon she didn't even know. But on the other hand if she did get to know it, she guessed there wouldn't be a problem. Plus she knew that Ditto would turn into another shiny Glaceon so then it would be like she was breeding with herself anyway.

"Glace," Shiva said nodding her head, agreeing just to make Kairi happy,"Good!" Kairi says as they walk up to the counter. Kairi pulled out $5,000 Poke as she walked up to the counter. Shaymin blinked at Kairi. She thought that it would be better to breed with the normal Ditto. It was cheaper.

But Kairi had her heart set on getting shiny Eevees and this made it easier to get them. She sit Shiva up on the counter,"I'd like to breed my shiny Glaceon with the center's shiny Ditto please," she said reaching around Shiva to hand the lady $5,000 Poke.

The woman nodded, taking the money. "Of course, young lady." she said, checking that Kairi had paid the correct sum of money. Smiling when she saw that it was indeed correct, she walked out from behind the counter. She was in her early thirties, whith shoulder length, wavy brown hair. On her right shoulder was a female Plusle. "Right this way, please. Leave all your Pokémon but the Glaceon here." she told her, opening a door.

The door led to a garden. A man stepped inside, seeming to be the husband of the woman. He, too, was in his early thirties, his dark blonde hair straight and short. On his left shoulder was a male Minun. The Minun gave the Plusle a look of adoration. The woman smiled to her husband. "Shiny." she said, just the one word, before moving back to the counter where Kairi's Pokémon were.

The man blew a blue whistle; the colour of a shiny Ditto. Somewhere in the garden, among the trees, small lake which could be classed as a large pond, tall grasses and random wild Pokémon were some Ditto. The shiny of these heard the signal which would summon it, and made its way to the source. It hid in a bush, looking at the trainer's Pokémon. A Glaceon. Hm. It transformed into a male Glaceon, stumbling a little as it stepped out of the hiding place. He then walked smoothly towards Shiva.

The man smiled. "Hello, Ditsy." he greeted the Pokémon as he looked at Shiva. She was a fairly pretty Pokémon, he supposed. The man looked to Kairi. "Righto, then! You wait in here and give the Pokémon some privacy. They might take some time; they'll need to get to know each other first." he told her, closing the door with Ditsy the Ditto and Shiva outside.

Disty looked at the Glaceon he was with. ~Hey there. The name's Ditsy. Come on, I'll show you to my home.~[/color] he said, leading the way to a hollow tree. Inside, there was enough room for them and a soft pile of feathers and leaves which made up Ditsy's bed. He grinned. ~So, tell me a little about yourself. What's your name? What's your trainer like?~[/color] he asked.[/size]

[Kairi]

After the woman took Kairi's money she said,"Right this way, please. Leave all your Pokémon but the Glaceon here." That would be a problem. Shaymin wasn't her Pokemon yet and Pikachu hated PokeBalls,"Either Pikachu nor Shaymin go into PokeBalls though," Kairi explained.

But the lady was already walking off so Kairi figured it was ok to leave them sitting there,"Pikachu, Shaymin, I'll be right back, ok," she explained.+Ok, try not to take too long ok. I'm getting hungry,+ Shaymin said her stomach growling. "Ok," Kairi grined as she followed the lady, who had a Plusle on her shoulder,"What's that?" Kairi wondered taking out her Pokedex and pointing it at Plusle.


Plusle, the Cheering Pokémon. Plusle always supports its teammates, giving celebratory sparks when a teammate does well. When Plusle is cheering on its partner, it flashes with electric sparks from all over its body. If its partner loses, this Pokémon cries loudly.

"Sounds like a big baby," Kiri kinda giggled as she shut her Pokedex. She noticed Shiva wasn't following her,"Come on Shiva! This concerns you," she said. "Glace!" Shiva nodded running to catch up to Kairi. They walked though a door which led to a garden,"Beautiful," Kairi grinned.

Her Glaceon, Shiva stopped to smell a pretty pink flower,"Glace," she grinned, then continued following Kairi. Just then a tall man stepped up to Kairi and the lady. She figured this man to be the lady's husband. On his shoulder Kairi say a Pokemon that looked almost like Plusle,"What's that?" She points her Pokedex at it.


Minun, the Cheering Pokémon. Minun cares more for its teammates than for itself, sending off showers of sparks while cheering them on. If its partner is in trouble, this Pokémon gives off increasing amounts of sparks.

"Hmm, sounds a lot like Plusle," Kairi grinned as she put her Pokedex back up,"So, there the cheering Pokemon, huh. Sounds really cool. There both just as cute as my Pikachu."

But Kairi's mind snapped when she heard the woman tell her husband,"Shiny." She guessed she was talking about Shiva. They then went back to the counter where Kairi's Pokemon were,'Ok, what was the point of me following her back there if she was just going to bring use back out here?' Kairi thought rolling her eyes.

Kairi saw the man take out a blue wistle and blow. Afterwards she saw another Shiny Glaceon enter the room. She guessed that was Ditto,"Hello, Ditsy." The man greeted. Kairi figured that must be the Shiny Ditto's nickname,"Righto, then! You wait in here and give the Pokémon some privacy. They might take some time; they'll need to get to know each other first." The man informed Kairi.

Kairi nodded as she watched Ditsy and Shiva go out into the garden out back. Kairi looked at Plusle and Minun and grinned,"Pikachu I have to go get some shopping done. Would you like to stay here and play with Plusle and Minun while I'm doing my shopping? I'll be right back," Kairi told him, as she picked up her Pokemon's PokeBalls off the table.

Pikachu nodded and ran off to play with the other two mouse Pokemon,+I think I'll take a nap in your backpack, Kairi. Tell me if anything good happens,+ Shaymin said as she turned into her land form and curled up inside Kairi's bag falling asleep. "Ok I'll be back after I finish my shopping," Kairi said putting her Pokemon's PokeBalls up as she walked out of the building.

With Shiva and Ditsy,<Hey there. The name's Ditsy. Come on, I'll show you to my home.> He told Shiva,<Awww! But I wanted to spend a little bit more time checking out these beautiful flowers,> Shiva sighted as she followed Ditsy anyway.

He led Shiva to his home, which was pretty nice for being a Pokemon's house. They both walked into Ditsy's house and sit down in the living room,<So, tell me a little about yourself. What's your name? What's your trainer like?> Ditsy asked starting up the conversation.

<Well, my name is Shiva. I can be a little bit shy at first. But I am very ladylike and am very picky about who I want to have a relationship with. At one point I was in love with this very hansome Umbreon. But he turned me down for a Espeon instead. To, bad too. Oh, my trainer's name is Kairi. She wants to be a Breeder. So, she may end up working here one day. I was her first Pokemon. She got me as her starter when I was just an Eevee. I got really excited back then and jumped at every little thing that moved. Plus, I had a very short attention spam. But all that changed after Kairi used a Nevermeltice on me evolving me. So, that's it about me. Tell me about yourself. Also, I'm hungry. Do you have anything to eat?> Shiva asked, finishing up her story.

Ditsy nodded to all this. He thought he had her pretty much sussed out by now; quirky, wowed easily by pretty things, short attention span, excitetable. A very, very normal, typical Pokémon. His lips gave a faint twitch, a possible threat of a smile, as she mentioned that she had been rejected by an Umbreon. Poor thing. That Espeon must be something. The Ditto-Glaceon nodded at her request. ~Sure, I have plenty of food. What kind do you like? I'm rather partial to spicy stuff, I must admit.~[/color] he told her, showing a collection of berries of sweet, sour, spicy, bitter and dry.

Grabbing a couple of Cheri berries, Ditsy chewed them slowly while he simply watched Shiva for a bit, assesing her. She was a pretty ordinary Glaceon, other than being a shiny. To him, being a shiny counted for nothing. It was all the personality which counted. He knew that Shiva had been trying to sum up her personality, but he liked to experience that kind of thing for himself, to see how they got along and so on.

He wasn't through with the questions, and certainly didn't believe that Shiva's entire life had been explained in one measly speech. ~So, what do you think of your trainer, Kairi? And what about this Umbreon and Espeon? Do you hate the Espeon for being chosen?~[/color] he asked.[/size]

[Kairi]

~Sure, I have plenty of food. What kind do you like? I'm rather partial to spicy stuff, I must admit.~ Ditsy told Shiva. He then showed Shiva his collection of berries. Shiva picked the sweet berries and started eating. Shiva saw Ditsy looking at her, amirering her looks. Just then Ditsy asked more questions,~So, what do you think of your trainer, Kairi? And what about this Umbreon and Espeon? Do you hate the Espeon for being chosen?~

Gulping down her food Shiva repiled with,<Kairi's great! For a human anyway. She's kind to all Pokemon. I've noticed thoughout our travels together that she'd do anything for them. I've seen her fall off a cliff before trying to protect a Aron,> Shiva said finishing up about Kairi.

She took another bite of food before answering about Umbreon and Espeon,<I don't want to talk about Umbreon and Espeon. The subject is too painful.> Shiva then ate a few more berries. She tried not to let Ditsy see her crying at the mention of the two Eeveevolutions, but she failed as a few tears started falling down her face.

Ditsy smiled and chuckled at the explanation of Kairi. She sounded pretty dedicated, although perhaps there would have been another way to save an Aron than by jumping off a cliff. The Ditto-Glaceon really couldn't see how jumping off a cliff would help anyone. Well, maybe Kairi had fallen off a cliff, or was cornered with the Aron, or Aron had fallen, too. Whatever the reason, she sounded like a pretty nice, if slightly... extreme- he wasn't entirely sure what word to use there- trainer.

He nodded as she said she found the Espeon/Umbreon thing a little hard to stand, noticing her tears but acting as though he did not. She'd find love again, he was sure of it. After all, someone so sweet and pretty as her would find it hard not to attract a mate. He blushed, realising that he actually found her vaguely attractive himself. He shouldn't get carried away too quickly, nope. Well, he didn't love her... yet. ~Well, then, moving on, I'd like to know a little about you. So, what was it like at the lab, before Kairi picked you as her starter? Did you have friends? Family? Did they treat you right?~[/color] he wondered. He didn't know much about Professor Apple Blossom.[/size]

[Kairi]

Shiva grinned when Ditsy chuckled after she'd finished talking about Kairi. "What? Do you find my trainer funny? Is that it? She didn't jump off the cliff. She fell, while she was running with the Aron. A wild Ryhorn had been chasing her. It was after the Aron, and Kairi was trying to save it and didn't see the cliff in time and fell," Shiva explained.

After she had finished explainning that she didn't want to talk about the Espeon/Umbreon thing she noticed that Ditsy had seen her crying but pretended not to see it,"Oh, sorry about that. The mention of them just brings back, bad memories," she said as a few more tears fell down her cheeks.

She went outside to the lake and drunk a few sips of water. Shiva sighted as she looked up at the sky and saw a few Starly flying by overhead. It looked as if they were matting. But Shiva grinned a little. Ditsy was making her feel better already. That was the problem with her. Shiva always fell in love too quickly.

So, of course she already found herself a little bit attrached to the Ditto-Glaceon, which just looked like merm image of herself, really. But it wasn't really love yet. Just an atration thing for right now. After all she had already told him tons about herself, but Ditsy had told her nothing about himself.

If Shiva was going to fall for him, she'd have to know at least a little bit about him first. She went back inside Ditsy's home and sit down in his living room,~Well, then, moving on, I'd like to know a little about you. So, what was it like at the lab, before Kairi picked you as her starter? Did you have friends? Family? Did they treat you right?~ Ditsy asked her as she sit back down.

"Well, it's very hard. But I feel as if I can talk with you now. See, before the lab I wasn't a wild Pokemon. Try not to act too shocked about this, but I don't really remember much about my life before the lab. All I remember is I used to have a trainer before the lab and he used to beat on me a lot cause let's face it. For an Eevee I wasn't very strong. So I lost a lot of battles. And one day, he wanted me to evolve into a Jolteon. And I refused. No way I'd evolve into something like that," She sobbed a little before continuing.

"So, he had his other Pokemon beat me senseless and left me there to die in a pool of my own blood. Prof. Blossom found me and raised me. There I had fun playing with the other Eevees. They were very kind to me. Even though I had lost most of my memory. I don't remember nothing else about my older trainer. Not even his name. And I don't think I'd ever want to, anyway, after what he did to me. Now, I've told you everything about myself. What about you? What was your life like before the Day Care? What's your owner like? How do you feel about life here at the Day Care? Do you have any friends here?" Shiva asked finishing her story.

Ditsy nodded, frowning at the story of Shiva's life before the lab. That didn't sound like such a pleasent experience... ~You poor thing,~[/color] he murmured sympathetically, ~If I had been lucky enough to be around you, I would have been kind. You must have been young, too. Most of the starter Pokémon are specially bred, from what I've heard... of course, the monthly-exclusive ones tend to be wild or something, but still... you are most unusual.~[/color] he smiled gently, eyes sparkling with happiness. He liked meeting these interesting people. He too easily fell in love; it was why he was so perfect for this job.

The next flurry of questions came from the mouth of the Glaceon who was truly a Glaceon. Ditsy chuckled, swishing his tail. This tail was an interesting shape. He's only been a Glaceon once before. He'd been a few other Eeveelutions, too, but never an Espeon, Umbreon or Draceon. Perhaps he'd get to be one of them some day. Anyway, he focused now on the questions. It wouldn't be polite to ignore them.

~Before the Day Care, I was a wild Ditto. Scientists found me, and decided that it would be interesting to study the genetic makeup of a Ditto that allows it to transform. Tests and experiments followed. My mum had always warned me to be careful around humans, because I am such a rare Pokémon... I got curious one day. They were especially interested because of my shinyness.~[/color] Ditsy nodded, his eyes distant. He didn't seem to bare much of an expression right now, but it was clear that he wasn't too happy about his past.

Sighing, he shook his head, moving on. ~That's all behind me, though. One of the scientists, now known as the DayCare Man, took pity on me. He had formed a close bond with me, and escaped, freeing the few other Dittos too. He was still interested in how we could breed and produce any kind of Pokémon, but only other Ditto when breeding with other Ditto, so decided to start up this DayCare. He met his wife along the way. I like it here. It's big, comfortable, and yes, I have many friends. Aside from the other Ditto, the DayCare Man and Lady have several Pokémon, which they let wonder about here rather than in their Pokéballs. The wild, Pokémon, too, are friendly. And the trainer's Pokémon.~[/color] he smiled, half closing his eyes and breathing in Shiva's scent.[/size]

~You poor thing,~ Ditsy had nodded. It seemed like he felt Shiva's pain only too well. Shiva leaned on him cuddling up against his fur crying,"Yes, but Kairi, my new owner's been a big help to me. She's made me forget and help me start a new life. I feel as if I've been reborn," she explained, as she still cuddled up to Ditsy as she yawned. It was getting very late into the night now and she was getting very sleepy.

Shiva sighted as Ditsy finished his story. It looked as if her and Ditsy had a lot in common with each other. She loved that. And something else was welling up inside the ice type as well. Now, she was falling in love with him. She curled up into a ball, as she nuzzled a little bit tighter up against Ditsy, and before he could say anything else or ask Shiva anything else she had already fallen fast asleep.

OOC: *Sigh* I wanna hurry up and finish this thread so I can make my Route 3 thread. Cause I don't want to go to Route 3 until I finish up here.

Ditsy smiled, paws stroking her fur as she dozed off curled up next to him. This was nice. Just relaxing, resting with one another. Shiva was fairly easy to be around, and she looked so peaceful in her sleep. He shifted closer to her although they were already touching, so that they were sharing body heat. It was wonderfully warm, like this, despite being an Ice type now. The Ditto-Glaceon's eyes drooped as he sighed happily.

Ditsy watched Shiva for a bit as her chest gently rose and fell slowly and rhythmically. He played with her ears, thinking. She was a nice Pokémon, but was he in love with her? She was kind, gentle, and they seemed to share a lot in common, about their pasts at any rate. They had been getting along fine so far, and she had a good personality, too. She was a much nicer Pokémon than some of the others he'd met here, he found her much more likeable.

Maybe he was in love, then. He didn't mind if he did. It felt warm, bubbly. He liked love. It bonded people or Pokémon together. He nuzzled Shiva joyfully, breathing in more of her scent. She smelled nice, too. What more could he ask for in a female? Shiva was right for him, at this moment in time. He ran a paw over her sleeping forehead, over her head and partway down her neck, where he moved his paw around so that he was holding her chin and could see her beauty. Lovely.

He smiled, taking his paw away. Perhaps... perhaps it was time. Right now. He was perfectly relaxed as he woke Shiva gently and told her, ~It's time.~[/color]

A few minutes later, they were heading back towards the building of the DayCare Centre in the remaining light. At Ditsy's feet he moved one egg, at Shiva's she moved another. Two eggs, not bad for a Ditto to produce. They were both the colours of an Eevee, and both had the odd very faint occasional sparkles, the sign that these eggs were both shiny.

Shiva bred two shiny Eevee eggs![/size]

Hours and hours passed, until two little shiny Eevee eggs were produced. Shiva grinned, at seeing her two little eggs. She knew that this would make Kairi very happy. Of course she was also very happy to finally be a mother of two Eevee. Of course since the Ditto, Ditsy wasn't Kairi's, the babies would probabbly never know there daddy. She hoped that Kairi would bring her back here after the eggs hatched so that the babies could meet there father.

Kairi had already gotten one shiny Eevee egg from her best friend Sulteron. All together this would make three shiny Eevee eggs. The same amount that Sulteron had right now. Shiva tried to get up to go to the lobby to wait for Kairi's return, but was too weak from giving birth to do so. So, she slept a little while longer.

The next morning her and Ditsy got up and had breakfast together, and left the house taking the eggs with them. Shiva rolling along one egg, and Ditsy rolling the other egg towards the check in lobby,"I enjoyed being with you, Ditsy. I hope my owner can bring the babies here for a visit after they hatch. They so, should meet there daddy," she grinned as they aproved the lobby.

Shiva and Ditsy had pushed themselves and the eggs though the Pokemon door. It was then that Kairi, Shaymin and Pikachu entered the Center. Pikachu ran over to Shiva,<So, I see it all worked out Shiva,> he said grinning. Shiva nodded, and said,<Don't talk to me right now. I feel very weak.>

Kairi grinned,"Wow! Two more shiny Eevee eggs. This makes three for us Shiva," she grinned at the ice type,"I'm sure you'll make a wonderful mother, Shiva." Shiva grinned at her trainer,"Glace!" Kairi then leaned down to Ditsy's level,"And I am sure you'll be a wonderful father," she said scratching Ditsy behind the ears.

She put the two eggs in her backpack, and put Shiva into her PokeBall to rest for awhile since she looked very weak from giving birth. She then told Ditsy bye as she and her Pokemon left, promising to bring the babies back here for a visit as soon as they hatched, into wonderful shiny Eevees.

Kairi got all excited after she checked with Santa to see what present she got. It was a Pichu. She was kinda a little disapointed. She wanted a shiny Pikachu, so that she could get a shiny Raichu. She's always wanted one. But she hadn't put Raichu on the list cause then she would of gotten a very weak Raichu that can't learn any good moves.

Anyway right after Pichu was handed to her she took him to the breeding center, deciding to breed him with Ditsy the Ditto who Shiva had bred with a while back. She didn't know what gender Ditsy thought of itself as. But she knew for a fact that Dittos were genderless. She hoped Ditsy wouldn't mind breeding with a male Pokemon.

Kairi hoped this would breed at least one shiny Pichu. She wanted a shiny Raichu very badly. She had already taken the Light Ball from Pikachu and gave it to Pichu, so that the babies would all know Volt Tackle. Pichu had no idea what was going on. He had just been handed to this human that he didn't even know. And without even introducing herself she had dragged him to the breeding center.

Pichu, was after all kinda sad at having been given away. After all, wasn't he the one who always helped Santa load his seight on Christmas eve night. And wasn't Pichu the one who always helped him with his list, and kept everything running nice and neat in his castle? "Pi," Pichu sight.

Kairi walked into the building with Pikachu on her shoulder, Shiva following beside her and Shaymin flying beside her. At once Kairi looked around for Ditsy. Not seeing the cute shiny Ditto she walked up to the counter and sit Pichu in front of the lady whose name she'd forgotten. Pichu started playing with the Light Ball, bounding it around on his head as Kairi spoke,"I'd like to breed, Pichu with Ditsy if that's ok." She took out her money.

Kairi then waited for the lady to take her money, and look for Ditsy. She sure hoped she'd get at least one shiny Pichu egg. After all she already had Pichu and Pikachu now right? She had no use for a normal Pichu egg anymore. If she got one that wasn't shiny she'd have to either trade it to one of her friends or sell it. All that was on Kairi's mind as she waited for the lady to take her money. Pikachu was looking for Plusle and Minun. The two Pokemon he had made friends with last time they were here.

The lady sighed, looking at Kairi. "Sorry, but you still have Eggs from your last time here. Come back when they've hatched."
