Shiva saw Tsuki shuffle closer to the Espeon. Shiva then rolled around on the ground trying to get his attention. That seemed to work a little as Tsuki turned and smilied briefly to her before flicking his tail towards Kai. Shiva noticed how stunned Kai looked. "Glace!" She grinned thinking she had won. But Kai didn't look sad. She looked absolutely delighted. But Shiva wouldn't give up. She started washing her furr trying to make herself look beautiful.

Over with Pikachu and Mila,~Our battling styles are different, but I can safely say that you can trust your instincts. Perhaps, when our levels are more evenly matched, we can battle!~ Mila told Pikachu. Pikachu nodded his head,"Pika."

Mila had then turned to Kairi and asked her,+So, what do you do? Are you a trainer? Breeder?+ Kairi grinned,"Oh! I'm a Breeder," she told him. She then turned her head back to the race. It looked as if Sulteron and Suicune were going to win. Meanwhile, while no one was looking Pachirisu had gotten into Sulteron's bag, and was eating her food.

"Hey! Stop that Pachirisu! That's not yours!" Kairi said trying to pull her out, which resulted in her getting shocked by the Pokemon. She fell over anime style. Pachirisu ingored her as she continued crawling around inside Sulteron's bag.

ic// Tsuki gave a little laugh as he saw Shiva trying to impress him. He was feeling a mixture of emotions right now. For one, he was feeling chuffed that two pretty females liked him. He also felt sorry for Shiva, because he knew he didn't have any feelings for her. He felt hopefull, too, that Shiva would some day find a male interested in her. And, the feeling he found extremely strange, the one which was starting to make him realize that perhaps he did like Kai... a little more than in a friendly way.

However, while Tsuki was troubled by his emotions and Kai was staring at him, Pachirisu was attacking Sulteron's bag. She would be in for a surprise when she got back from the race, that was for sure! Azi gave her a growl, digging her paw into Sulteron's bag. The Drigoon eventually grabbed white fluff, and pulled out the Pokémon. Mizoro the Tailow swooped over, grabbed Pachirisu by the tail, and flew over to drop the squirrel gently into Kairi's lap before returning to Azi's side, where the Water type was now gaurding the bag carefully.

Sulteron, meanwhile, raced on, not knowing any of this. Suicune was still keeping steady. Would they win? Or would Dodrio overtake them?

The crowd watched on edge to see which of the Pokemon would be the winner.

Even the referee was ready to see who won, with a Great Ball and a cash prize in hand.

"LAST LAP!" he called.

It appeared as if the two Pokemon were equally matched. They were neck-and-neck. But not for long. It appeared that Flash was tiring. Its third head dipped slightly.

Unlike Suicune, Flash was not the Pokemon that embodied the Northern Wind, and it showed. As Suicune and Flash rounded the next turn, all three of its heads drooped, and Flash's strides kept varying in length, proof of the strain of trying to run right beside a legendary Pokemon. Flash collapsed, to the dismay of his rider, who suddenly found her face in the dirt.

Mere inches from the checkered finish line, no less.

Sulteron's face lit up in joy as she saw Flash fall just moments before the finish line was crossed, after she had thought that perhaps she would have come second, and second was good. Suicune gave a truimphant howl as she saw herself past the finish line the three others having reached their limit. Sulteron slipped off her back, stroking the light blue fur on her neck. The wolf was panting a little, but beaming none the less. This made it all worth it. Worth the effort. She led Sulteron over to the man who had started the race and finished it, not entirely sure if there was a prize or what it was for that matter.

Sulteron's Pokémon clapped and cheered and whooped in joy as they saw that their trainer was victorious. Tsuki actually put his tail over Kai's, and his paw over hers. She blushed, moving closer so their forms were almost touching. Tsuki grinned. Not only had his trainer and travelling partner won a race, but he'd also realized that he quite liked this pretty Espeon. He smiled to her, moving so they actually touched, side by side.

Sulteron had, by that time, been awarded her prize and raced over to her Pokémon. The first thing she saw was that much change had come about in that short space of time. Mila had evolved, for one. And it seemed that perhaps Kai's prayers had been answered in that Tsuki liked her. "Woah. OK... Mila?" she said. The Lucario smiled guiltily. ~Don't ask.~[/color] he told her. She nodded. "OK. I won't. Anyway, who's this?" she asked, waving a hand at Kairi. Fairo told her something in Pokéspeak, which, of course, Kairi would not be able to understand.

Sulteron's tail swished. She turned to Kairi, smiling. "Oh, hey, Kairi. Fairo told me about what Pachirisu did, and don't worry, it's fine. So, er, hi. I'm Sulteron, and it seems you've already met my Pokémon thanks to Mila's telepathic ability. Well, you won't have met Suicune yet, so er, Suicune, Kairi, Kairi, Suicune." she said. The wolf beside her nodded in greeting, eyes flickering to Shaymin. She seemed pleased to see the legendary, because it meant that Kairi was a nice person if a legendary had chosen to travel with her.[/size]

Kairi cheered as she saw Sulteron and Suicune pass the finish line,"She did it!" Kairi cheered, squeesing Shaymin,+Ugh, Kairi! I can't breath!+ Shaymin choaked out,"Oh no! I'm so sorry!" Kairi said to Shaymin,+That's ok,+ Shaymin answered. Kairi turned over and watched Shiva. She did feel a little bit sorry for her. But Kairi kinda figured that a Leafeon would be the perfect partner for a Glaceon. Maybe she'd get a Leafeon one day. Kairi looked at Leafeon real quick in the Pokedex.


It basically does not fight. With cells similar to those of plants, it can perform photosynthesis. Just like a plant, it uses photosynthesis. As a result, it is always enveloped in clean air.

"Sounds real swift," Kairi grinned. She liked the shiny Leafeon best. Even though there really wasn't much difference in color, really. She jumped up in her seat when she heard a voice say,"Woah. OK... Mila?" The Lucario had then filled Sulteron in on what happened, and introduced her to Kairi and her Pokemon.

"Oh, I'm sorry, my Pachirisu got into your food," she said,"Say your sorry Pachirisu," she ordered,"Pachi," Pachirisu sad, as her stomach growled very loudly. "Oh, hey, Kairi. Fairo told me about what Pachirisu did, and don't worry, it's fine. So, er, hi. I'm Sulteron, and it seems you've already met my Pokémon thanks to Mila's telepathic ability. Well, you won't have met Suicune yet, so er, Suicune, Kairi, Kairi, Suicune." Sulteron had grinned forgetting all aout it.

Kairi noticed that the shiny Suicune had her eyes on Shaymin,"Oh! I see you noticed Shaymin huh? She's not really my own Pokemon, she's just traveling with me," she leaned down to Suicune's level and rubbed her on her chin,"Your a very beautiful Pokemon," she told her.

By now all of Kairi's Pokemon's stomaches were growling very loudly,+I'm straving!+ Shaymin conplained,"Oh! I almost forgot. Sorry Shaymin," she turned to Sulteron,"Would you like to have lunch with us?" But then Kairi remembered,"Oh! I still have to check on that poor little Azurill first. It was very ill when I caught it."

ic// Suicune nodded, understanding. Kairi and Shaymin's present situation sounded very similar to that of herself and Sulteron. She smiled shyly at Kairi's praise. She was a fairly modest Pokémon. She knew how strong Suicune could become and of her good stats, but didn't go about showing them off to everyone. That would only attract unwanted attention. Sulteron, meanwhile, shrugged at Kairi's hunger. "Sure, we could eat." she said, recalling her walk to the racetrack and trying to remember if she'd seen any restraunts on the way.

Azurill still seemed to be fairly ill. This was a shame for the poor Pokémon, but, looking on the bright side of life, it would mean that Shaymin would stay with Kairi, for at least a little while longer.

Kai and Tsuki looked at each other a little shyly. Although for the others, the meal would simply be a friendly event, for them it would be more like a date. Sulteron's eyes flicked over to them briefly before straightening up. "Well, let's go find somewhere to eat. I fancy pasta or something like it." she said, leading the way out the racetrack along the streets of Sage Town.
