Sulteron and her Pokémon were on the road again, after a trip to Sage Town which had been prolonged by the racing and meeting of Kairi Hill, whom Sulteron had become friends with. She was currently approaching the top of a hill covered in healthy grass, sparkling with morning frost. One hand rested on the great shoulder of the mighty wolf, a shiny Suicune, which padded on her right side. Fairo, her shiny Charmeleon, padded on the other side. Kai and Tsuki strolled happily ahead of the group, striding in unison. The three eggs which made them a mum and a dad were tucked safely in Sulteron's secure backpack. Mila the Lucario and Asi the shiny Drigoon were playing a game of It (sometimes called Tag), laughing, Asi showing off her ability to fly awkwardly for very short distances. Mizoro was flying above them all with ease, the Tailow's wings able to support her small, light body.
As they reached the hill's peak, they made a collective gasp of wonder. An immense beauty was stretched out before them. Fairo gave Sulteron a meaningful look, and she read his mind. Please let us stop here for a bit. he thought, not wanting to ruin the beauty with speech. Sulteron nodded, and sat down on the crisp grass. Her Pokémon followed suit, admiring to view. Suicune's warm body was against the shiny Espeon 'morph's, Fairo's even warmer one in her lap. Mila seemed to be doing some sort of aura/meditation thing. Kai and Tsuki were, typically, seeing the romantic side of all this. Even Asi stopped to watch. Mizoro, to Sulteron's intense surprise, was friendly enough to land on her head, nestled between her ears.
The scene before them was so breathtaking it is not easily described. The Sun, a wonderous orangey orb, was a semi-circle on the horizon, casting its golden beams into the sky. The sky was a pale blue around the Sun, growing darker until it was more of a deeper blue. The moon could still be seen, a thick cresent. A perfect time for the Espeon and Umbreon which stared at it, Pokémon of the sun and moon together at the time of the sun and moon. The hills, dappled with bushy evergreens, framed the sunrise. Frost rested on the grass as it did on this hill, which was also dabbled with evergreen trees and other hardy winter shrubs. This frost was catching the sunlight, making the hills seem to sparkle, literally sparkle. The group of Pokémon and their trainer simply sat there for a while, staring at nature's majesty.

They were not the only ones enjoying the beautiful sunrise. Various other Pokemon were peeking out of their many hiding places, some just now waking up, watching the blazing ball rise above the horizon. Several Flying-types such as Altaria and Pidgeot were darting through the sky. In a nearby tree, a Hoothoot let out an echoing call, its last one until night would fall once more.
However, not all was well in this idyllic scene. The coming of winter meant that various Pokemon that resided in the north, namely Ice-types, were slowly but surely making their way south. Sulteron and her team were privileged to see two such Pokemon in a battle; an Snover versus an Absol.
The Absol attacked using Razor Wind, sending blades of pressurized air towards the dual-type Pokemon.
The Snover, however slow, was strong, and even after it was hit with the blast of air, it stayed on its feet and countered with Icy Wind. Small shards of ice in a gust of cold wind swept through Absol's fur.
"That's it, Snover! Get that Absol down!" the Team Chaos grunt called. He had only just caught Snover. If he brought his boss a Snover and the Absol, maybe he'd get promoted! "Use another Icy Wind!"
The Absol appeared quite weakened now. Snover was stronger than it thought. Suddenly his left leg gave out. The Dark-type struggled to stand. He had enough strength for maybe one more Razor Wind... then he was through.
Absol planted his good feet firmly in the grass, and started his Razor Wind, the beginnings of the blast of air collecting around his horn.
((...Museless. And tired. Can't forget tired. -_-))

Sulteron watched calmly at first, thinking this was a wild Pokémon battle. An Absol... how interesting. It seemed like Snover would defeat him; she would be sure to catch him. After all, Absol were one of her all-time favourite Pokémon. However, then she noticed with a sickening feeling that there was a man ordering the Snover. Innocent enough, no? Well, no indeed. This man was clearly a Team Chaos grunt; the Espeon 'morph would recognise that uniform anywhere.
Sulteron cursed her luck. Everywhere she went, she seemed to run into these scumbags. Well, at least, looking on the bright side of life, she would be able to put a stop to a few Pokémon's suffering. She would be able to save this Absol from this man, just like she had saved Suicune from another grunt.
Before she could act, she felt a deep, feircesome growl riverberate from Suicune's throat. Her eyes were filled with pure loathing as they saw this man. She knew about Team Chaos. The horrible people who had left her, wounded and stranded, and tried to capture her. The wolf rose, and leapt towards the battle.
Suicune landed in between Absol and the grunt and his Snover, the huge Ice type snarling and baring her teeth at the grunt and his Pokémon. Sulteron and the rest of her Pokémon hurried down to join her, determined looks on their faces. "Stop! You won't get this Absol, and I'll be sure of that!" Sulteron yelled. Before she could call her Pokémon, Suicune stepped forward, ready and very willing to fight.

Absol stopped in surprise. A human and a Suicune coming to his rescue? He was at a loss for words. However, the grunt was not.
'Aah! A Suicune! Capturing that prize would make me an Admin for sure!' the grunt thought, grinning evilly (or nerdily, whichever way you wanted to see it). He adjusted his glasses and smirked.
"What're ya gonna do about it, girlie?" he asked snarkishly, taking out two other Pokeballs. "My Pokemon are more than a match for your weaklings! When this battle's over, I'll be taking them with me back to the Team Chaos base! Wahahahahahaha!"
He threw the two spherical objects, each of which released a blinding white light. One of the beams transformed into a Racoclaw, while the other swiftly changed into a Magmar.
"Pyre, use Fire Spin on that Suicune! Shade, you know what to do!" the nerd grunt called, waving his hand dramatically. The Magmar inhaled deeply and breathed out a swirling line of fire, heading for the blue wolf. The Racoclaw, however, did nothing. She stood in an odd pose, seemingly unmoving, surrounded by a gentle orange-tan glow. Counter.
The grunt smirked again. "And Snover, use Icy Wind on that Drigoon!" Snover complied, sending a flurry of tiny ice shards towards said Drigoon.

Sulteron watched as the nerd/grunt released two Pokémon. Eh? That made three! She couldn't fight a triple battle! However, her worries ceased as she saw that only two of them were battling, bringing Asi into the battle without much reason. She was fairly confused as to what 'Shade' the Racoclaw was doing with that Counter. Didn't that require another Pokémon to deal damage on the user before they could attack with double that damage? Well, Sulteron would just have to avoid attacking that Pokémon, then. Easy.
Suicune was caught by the Fire Spin, wincing in pain as the vortex swept up around her, getting ready to cause damage and prevent her from switching out for about five turns. Luckily, she was a Water type, ((oops I think I said Ice type last post)) so the Fire type attack did not do much damage on her. Thank goodness. However, she could tell that this Magmar was stronger than her; just the fact that it could use Fire Spin put it at level 19 as opposed to Suicune's level 15.
Asi was having better luck in the levels sense. She was a higher level, level 17, but she couldn't give Snover a minimun level yet for Icey Wind was only learned at level 9. Being a Water type, she too was resistant to the opponent's attack, the Ice type move merely causing her to shudder and whimper gently; it was a more powerful move to Fire Spin. She smiled, ready. This grunt had given himself type weaknesses.
Sulteron was pleased with the grunt's choice in types. She was ready. Pyre the Magmar, a Fire type. Easy, she'd use a Water type move. "Suicune, Bubblebeam!" the there was Snover, a Grass and Ice dual type. That made him weak to Flying type moves. "Asi, use Gust!" she called. A powerful, thick jet of bubbles errupted from the end of Suicune's muzzle, aimed away from Racoclaw and at Pyre, while Asi's wings flapped quickly to produce strong, sharp winds for Snover.

"Rrrrgh! You cheater! You weren't s'posed to do that!" the grunt complained. "But not to worry, I've got a strategy!" He pulled out a little book, oblivious to the fact that he had forgotten to give his Pokemon other orders, and that they had been hit with Sulteron's attacks.
"Aha! Here we go! Oh wait, not that one. Aha! This one!" The grunt grinned evilly (or what he thought passed for evilly, anyway). "Snover, use Razor Leaf on Shade, and Pyre, use Smog on that Suicune!"
For a moment the Snover looked at him like he was crazy, but realized his master's plan. He fired off several swirling leaves that headed straight for the Racoclaw. Being unmoving, she was hit with a direct attack. Which, Razor Leaf being a physical move, powered up Counter.
Pyre went ahead with Smog, releasing a sickly-purple gas that streamed its way towards Suicune. Hopefully the gas would poison it, and enable the grunt to capture it! 'Promotion, promotion...' the grunt thought gleefully.
Last but not least, Shade leaped forward, and aimed to rake her claws down Suicune's flank, and release the Counter.
((...Sigh...))

ooc// Don't worry, Starfire. I think your posts are fine.
ic// Sulteron's eyes widened, horrified. Oh, dear. The grunt liked playing dirty, teaming up three against one. That was not very nice. She knew that Suicune would have to avoid getting hit by the Counter; she probably wouldn't be strong enough to take that kind of damage. She had a plan to give the grunt a taste of his own medicine- and more. "Mila, use Counter! Let Shade's Counter hit, then attack Snover! Suicune, use Bubblebeam again" she called.
Mila leapt forwards with the incredible speed of a Lucario, finding himself safely planted in between Suicune and Shade. The Racoclaw's Counter struck- man, that was painful. Snover must have a strong Razor Leaf. Turning on said Snover now, he attempted to use that high Speed stat to his advantage, hoping to catch the slow Grass and Ice type before he would escape. This Counter was strong; four times the strength of the original Razor Leaf, accurate and fast, too.
Suicune howled as the Smog scorched her throat, but was still grateful that the Counter hadn't hit. She roared through bared teeth, producing an odd rumblin sound at Pyre. She was angry with the Magmar, and would fight. Her muzzle parted, another powerful stream of bubbles making up the Water type attack heading straight towards the Fire type. She hoped the Bubblebeam would hit.

The Snover squealed in fear as it saw Mila rushing its way, and turned to flee. However, it didn't get too far. A Razor Wind from Absol, along with Mila's powered-up Counter, made sure that it stayed down. The Dark-type in question was back on his feet now, and moved next to Suicune, though there was a limp in his step.
The Grunt however was having a fit. "Pyre! Night! Stop that Bubblebeam!" he roared, his voice cracking.
Now, here's the thing. The Pokemon were smart, yes, but they were also loyal, so they complied with the grunt's orders. This not only earned them both a bump on the head from running into each other, but they each got the same amount of damage from the attack, albeit half of what it normally would have been. You could practically see the steam billowing out from the grunt's ears.
"NO! Not like that, you nitwits! Aaaarrrrgh! Must I do everything myself?!?" Red-faced and sweaty, the grunt roared out more orders. "Pyre! Stop standing there like an imbecile and use Fire Spin on that Lucario! And you, Shade! Double Team then Quick Attack!"
The impromptu battlefield was suddenly swarmed by copies of the grunt's Racoclaw, each one running around, making it impossible to tell which copy was the real Pokemon. Several Shades headed for Suicune in a Quick Attack, while her Magmar partner filled the air with a torrent of blazing embers once again.
((I'd say that was a pretty decent post. :3 Ah, good to be back. |3))

occ/ seems as if i did it again although i did modify this post the same time i did the same with the other hopefully in the future this wont happen again also i forgot about it sorry...
The bubble beam went through the first Shade ripping it apart showing that it was a copy however the second Shade was the real one and the bubble beam hit home, however since it was a slightly weak attack which got it power divided it hardly did any damage. Smiling the Nerd Grunt laughed saying, "Ha ha you have discovered the copy but that attack was so puny that it didn't matter," turning to his pokemon he said, "Magmar it seems that the Lucario doesn't like our fire attacks so use ember, Shade use another quick attack on the Suicune now!"

Sulteron watched as she discovered the true Shade, but the Bubblebeam failed to do much damage. Huh, at least she'd eliminated the copies. Suicune and Mila were doing well, in her opinion. Just a little more, and she might even win this. Right now, it seemed unclear who would win. Pyre hit Mila with the Ember, the Lucario trying to hide his pain but a sudden intake of breath as it hit giving him away, while Suicune allowed Shade to hit her. "Suicune, Bubblebeam on Pyre! Mila, Counter on Shade!"
Mila was actually a little impressed by his trainer's tactic. His using Counter would send double the damage of the super effective Ember at Shade the Racoclaw, while Suicune would send a super effective Bubblebeam at Pyre the Magmar. It worked out that maximun damage was dealt to both Pokémon. He glowed, taking the energy from the hit he'd just experienced before using it against Shade. Suicune breathed in deeply. When she breathed out, a number of speedy bullet-like bubbles shot in a powerful beam at Pyre the Magmar.

The Magmar was unable to dodge the bubblebeam hit leaving it on its last legs, surely another good attack would wipe it out. Shade was unlucky as well the counter hit dead on proving a critical hit and wiping him out. The grunt almost unphased by the koing of his pokemon Shade returned him then looking a bit unpleased by the fact that his only pokemon was on its last legs. Bit his lip then ordered the magmar, "Pyre, use ember on the Mila again and don't hold back." The Magmar turned to the grunt nodded then sucking up air that seemed very weakly used ember.

ooc// How many levels does Mila gain?
ic// Sulteron grinned as she saw that Shade had been defeated. Pyre didn't have much more left in him, either! She had almost defeated, so she had almost saved the poor Absol! The Espeon 'morph sucked in a breath as Mila was hit by the Ember. The Lucario tottered, falling to his feet. He was so very nearly KO'd... he just had to hang in there a little longer. He looked like the energy of using an attack might do some damage, so she decided not to make him do anything. "Suicune, protect Mila! Use a Bubblebeam; we're almost there!" she called.
Suicune could see Pyre the Magmar was indeed almost fainted, and strongly hoped that she didn't have to fight much longer; Mila might not even manage to keep going without anything hitting him, and she wasn't feeling so good herself. At least the wolf hadn't been hit by an attack this turn. She gathered as much power as she possibly could, firing a strong and accurate Bubblebeam towards Pyre, hoping to finish the battle.

Mila gains 3 levels! The Magmar saw the Bubble Beam moving towards him in almost slow motion and did all he could to get out of the way. However even if the Magmar was at full health the Bubble Beam would have hit anyways. Realling from the shock of the blow the Magmar fainted and dropped to the ground. Suicune gains 2 levels! The grunt surprised the the fact he had been beaten. Froze up for a second then regaining his wits recalled his Magmar. Looked at Sulteron, then said, "You may have beaten me but you wont beat our leader!" Then throwing down a white ball dissapeared in a puff of smoke leaving nothing behind, well except his wallet, when opened would be 12,000 dollars in cash.(do you think 12,00 is too much?)

ooc// Cripes, that's too much. 1,200 would be more like it I'll add that on.
ic// Sulteron watched as her Pokémon defeated the grunt, and he teleported through a puff of smoke. She wondered breifly how he did that, when Suicune nuzzled the money. ~He's not exactly going to come and collect it...~ she pointed out, clearly wanting the trainer she was travelling with to take the money. Sulteron shrugged, doing so but feeling just a little bit guilty. She returned Mila to his Pokéball for a nice rest, and looked in her backpack for a Potion for Suicune since the wolf didn't have a Pokéball. She refused it, however. As Sulteron put the Potion back, she noticed her three shiny Eevee eggs, the offspring of Kai and Tsuki, her Espeon and Umbreon. She hoped they would hatch soon, since she'd had them for several months now. Yes, her eggs would definately hatch soon, so she'd best keep a watch on that. ((could you make them hatch soon, please?)) She then turned to Absol, the reason for the fight in the first place. She'd saved him from the grunt, but what now? "Are you all right, Absol? Would you like a Potion?" she offered, knowing he had been tired out from his earlier fight with the grunt.
