Well as you all know, most people who write or draw, usually, refer to the thing that gives them creative sparks as Muses. People usually have a way they picture their Muse or Muses. So what do you believe (or think)your muse looks like and/or want it to look like? Mine I believe looks like a Mew, it actually has been that way since I started fourm RPGing, hence the name Ibrowmew and my love for Mews (which has been around even longer).

My muse is a light blue cat, with a dark blue five-pointed star over her left eye. Both eyes are amber. She has a long tail with a dark blue tailtip. She actually looks a lot like my current avatar. :3 I think I actually have a picture of her on the computer. If I find it, I'll try to post it. Is your muse just a normal Mew, or does it have markings or anything?

I don't think of my muse as a thing, I guess. It's just a word that means I can be bothered to write and can think of stuff, I guess. I don't think I can personify it... how did you guys go about doing that?

I don't really know... owo
I just kinda started imagining her that way.
Actually, depending on what I'm writing, she'll have a different form, but with the same color scheme. Sometimes she's the long-tailed cat, sometimes she's a Glaceon or Furret, sometimes she's an anthro cat (think Blaze the Cat if you play Sonic games), sometimes she's a little dragon.
I don't know why she's a she, either. X3
I think it has something to do with how I view things. The way my mind works. Or something. If you know what I mean. (Which you probably don't cuz I think I worded that wrong. X3)

Have any of you read the His Dark Materials series, because this might be a little bit like dæmons in that, basically your soul in a physical form. Although you guys are probably imagining them the way you want them too, like Mew's obsession for Mews and stuff, while in HDM they're based on your personality. I guess I would think of my muse as something! I've just thought maybe a little bird (I think a robin...), a larger bird (maybe a red kite), or a large white ermine, or a big light grey wolf or a largish leopard. Dunno which I think of most for HIM, though. I was looking at what Starfire was saying and a perfect name came to mind, but I forgot it instantly. It began with Star.

I have the series, but when I tried to read it it was way tooo complicated and confused me toooo much, the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy was better than the Dark Materials, even less confusing

Really? I found it confusing at first, but then I really got into it and could understand it all, and it's really good, one of my favourite books. When was the last time you read them? I read them when I was seven and found them too confusing, but read them again when I was eleven and understood them completely. What can't you understand about them? Maybe if I explain anything you don't get and you read them again you'll fall in love with the series

one sec, I'm reading it, it's actually pretty good, a bit confusing at times but no transitions that are not warned of ahead of time. Also after asking my mom when i got and first read it she said my tenth b-day, and a few days afterwards, and I didn't even read the first one through, sorry my memory can be shakey at times. :-]

Lol. Well, if you read the first one first, and read the first few chapters carefully, you should understand everything. The first one's Northern Lights, by the way then it's the Subtle Knife, then the Amber Spyglass. All amazing books, and the author lives nearby as is the places it's based on. Smiley overuse, I just realised. Anywho, I love the idea of dæmons, hence why my site was born. I'd really like one. He would be my lovely and I would love him. I wouldn't want him to settle, though.
