((I AM ALIVE! Incredible, isn't it? I'm back, and I've brought my muse. So I'll get back on track with Sora and her Pokemon.
Now, I sorta forgot what happened in the last thread, so I'm just going by what I think I can remember. ^^' ))
Grinning with excitement, Sora approached the Training Gym, followed closely by her Cavia, Kana. Taking her jacket out of her beat-up sack, Sora shrugged it on over her wings and walked inside. She smiled again as she felt the just-right temperature of the waiting room. Looking around, she saw several people and their Pokemon sitting in chairs scattered around, and a desk at which a woman was typing frantically on her computer.
Nervously, Sora approached her. "Um, 'scuse me. Uh, I was wondering if I could register or whatever to train."
The woman didn't look up from her work, but replied, "Name please?"
"Uh, Sora. Just Sora."
She heard the woman scribble something on a sheet of paper, and then the sheet was passed to her, along with a pencil.
"Put down what Pokemon you will be using, along with the ones you will be fighting, please."
Sora sighed, penciling in all the information, and then passed the paper back to the receptionist, who filed it away somewhere.
"Your first opponent will be available in five minutes. Please take a seat and wait until your name is called."
-Approximately five minutes later...-
"Will Sora and Miles please enter the arena!" the loudspeaker called. "Sora and Miles, enter the arena!"
Sora stood up, setting Kana on her shoulder, and walked to the door, accompanied by a black-haired teen with bright green eyes. A burly Cranidos was following him obediently.
The boy offered a gloved hand to her. "Good luck trying to beat my Cranidos," he said, smirking playfully. "It takes a lot to get him down."
Sora grinned enthusiastically and shook his hand. "I'll do my best!"

Training Match 1 - Whirl vs. Cranidos
"All right, Whirl, let's do this!" Sora cried, tossing the Poliwag's Pokeball into the air above the field, the little Water-type appearing in the center in a flash of light.
"Begin!" the referee called.
Not pausing for a moment, Cranidos lowered its hard head and charged forward at a swift pace. Caught off guard, Whirl was easy prey for the Headbutt, and was tossed into the air when the attack connected.
"Come on, Whirl, you can do this!" Sora called when Whirl got back on his feet. "Use Bubble!"
As Cranidos lowered its head for another Headbutt, Whirl bounced up onto his rubbery tail and launched a stream of bubbles at the Rock-type. Having been unable to see properly, as he was already charging, Cranidos ran right into the attack.
"Now use Water Sport!"
"Use Leer, Cranidos!" Miles called.
Whirl frowned as he felt his Defense stat slip, but obeyed the order, spraying water everywhere.
Miles smirked at the attack. "Let me know how that works out for ya," he said confidently. "Headbutt again, Cranidos!"
Obediently, the fossil Pokemon charged at the smaller tadpole Pokemon, its footsteps tracking water all over the floor. Due to the water, Cranidos slipped slightly, and missed Whirl by a hair.
"Water Sport then Bubble again, Whirl!" Sora called, encouraging the Poliwag on.
"Focus Energy, and then another Headbutt!" Miles ordered.
There was a moment of relative peace when the first half of the combo was complete, and then the two Pokemon charged at each other, one spraying bubbles, the other lowering its head to attack. However, this had an adverse effect on Cranidos. Its clawed feet weren't adapted to walking on smooth, slick surfaces, and lost their grip on the floor. Whirl, however, was used to maneuvering in wet places, and his was the attack that landed.
Miles grew frustrated when his Cranidos slipped again trying to stand. "C'mon, Cranidos! Get up already!" The little dinosaur growled in response.
Sora grinned, seeing that her tactic had worked. "Whirl, one last Water Sport ought to do!" she called.
Giving a somewhat smug smile, Whirl got up close to Cranidos and drenched the area around him once more. In annoyance, his opponent swiped his stubby tail at him. It didn't do damage, but it was enough to embarrass the little tadpole. Trying to save face, he lashed out with a strong Bubble attack that obscured them both from their Trainers. Soon after a few whacks and thuds were heard, and the bubbles cleared.
Whirl and Cranidos were facing each other, both panting, both bruised, as if they had put their movesets aside and went at it with pure physical power. A small cut above Whirl's left eye stung where Cranidos had hit him with his claw, a glowing red spot on the right side of Cranidos' face throbbed where Whirl had whacked him with his rubbery tail.
Finally, after a few seconds of silence, Cranidos slumped, and collapsed on the tiled (and still wet) floor.
"You did it, Whirl! You beat 'im!" Sora and Kana cheered.
Miles sighed in resignation, and called Cranidos back into his Poke Ball.
"Good match, Sora and Whirl," he said, heading for the door. "Looks like I'll be needing some new battle tactics after this. I hope we can battle again sometime."
"Same here," Sora said, returning Whirl and following him out.

Okay, that kinda FAILED. I'm too out of it. I've been away too long... DX
I'll put the others in another post, one for each of them so it's not too confusing.
