Mello round his way onto route one. After his experiance at the lab he was more pumped then ever to get out and catch some Pokemon. He kept walking and walking trying to find some Pokemon on the route. After awhile he stopped and yelled "COME ON POKEMON GET OUT HERE!" At the top of his lungs. After all he hated waiting
(Sorry for the crappy post but.... yeah)

The wind blew steadily on Route One, rousing the bright grasses into a little dance with the wind. They rustled everywhere, not really giving a hint to where pokemon were, but not completely concealing them. Assorted wild pokemon calls could be heard around, and as Mello called out loudly, those calls seemed to freeze for a moment. Not many weak pokemon were willing to walk right out towards a threat, very few were that bold. Even so, eventually, a call resumed, bold and loud against the quieter murmurs of other pokemon. A blue face stuck out of the grasses, looking straight at the boy. Two black conical horns protruded from the sides of the pokemon's head, and the Mareep gave Mello an irritated "Baa!", saying <What nerve!>. The pokemon waltzed out of the tall grass towards him, and sat, looking bored. Her yellow poofs of hair seeming to dance with static electricity that she didn't bother trying to control. She had actually just been having a very nice nap, and some crazy yelling human had to go and ruin it. She gazed at Mello, looking totally uninterested, giving him a stare that said <Well, what do you want?>. Her tail moved lazily back and forth as she waited for the boy to respond.

"A weak little Mareep. Not what i wanted but she'll do" He said with a smirk as he reahced down to his belt and pulled the only Pokeball in the belt out. He would then press the button and watch as the ball grew in size. He would then throw the ball in the air watching as a beam of light came from the ball and conecticed with the ground, Making a flash fo light which once faded, Would reveal a orange Lizard. "let's not waste time shall we? Charmander use scratch!" he yelled as the Charmander charged at the Mareep without a second thought sending a clawed hand at the sheep Pokemon's face with all his speed

Mareep took the scratch only in part, seeing as how she had started to jump backwards as soon as Mello said the word 'Let's'. The foe's claws came across her face, and she recoiled even more sharply, putting distance between them. The scratches stung, but the Mareep shook the pain off, charging at the Charmander with a Tackle attack. With a threatening snort, she threw her body at the opposing pokemon, hoping that, even if the attack didn't do much damage in itself, that the static on her body would paralyze him.

Mello watched the Mareep charge at Charmander, sending her body at the Fire Lizard. "Charmander Dodge and use scratch before Mareep can recover! Also keep away from her wool!" He yelled remembering that Mareep were known to keep electric stored in their wool. Doing as he was told Charmander jumped off to the side narrowly avoiding the Tackle. But no sooner then he would land from the jump he would launch himself at the Mareep sending another scratch at the Mareep's face. The scratch would it be harder to dodge due to Mareep regaining her balance from the tackle she had used earlier

Who needs to regain balance? As Mareep's tackle missed, she went into a completely unintentional roll, inadvertently dodging Charmander's scratch attack completely. See, clumsiness can pay off! Mareep came to her feet abruptly after rolling, and shook her whole body. The static could be heard building up in her wool as she moved. The Mareep turned back towards the Charmander, and let out a rather loud bleat. The sound resonated a bit, and was deeper than her regular voice. It was Mareep's Growl attack, and she hoped to lower to opponent pokemon's attack with it.

Mello watched as Mareep used the growl attack to lower Charmanders attack. With a smirk he would say "well aren't you Fearsome ball of fluff" in a sarcastic tone. He would then turn to Charmander. "Use a growl of your own and then follow it up with a scratch. Aim for her eyes!" he would yell as the Charmander followed his orders to a T. The charmander would oull his head back and thrust it forward letting a loud growling noise echo from his throat hoping to lower the Mareep's attack. He would then charge at the Mareep with all of his speed sending a claw hand at her eyes and hoping to temporarily blind and even KO the Mareep ending the fight

Mareep grinned. I am a fearsome ball of fluff. She stayed confident, even as the Charmander growled and then aimed a scratch for her eyes. As he came towards her, the Mareep lowered her head at the last moment, just barely keeping her eyes from being hit. Instead the claws caught her horn, and she moved backwards a little bit with the force of the attack. The pokemon jumped back, hoping to leave the Charmander off-balance, before going at the lizard with Tackle attack, full of renewed vigor.

"Charmander dodge!" Mello yelled as his Charmander followed orders, jumping back with all his might and dodging the tackle but landing on his butt, but quickly standing up and getting back into position. Mello would then quickly reach into his bag and pull out a Pokeball which he had been hiding since he left from Orre. He pressed the ball in the center of the red and white sphere and watched the sphere grow in size, threw the Pokeball into the air, watching the sphere open up and shoot a beam of light into the ground causing a flash, when the flash faded a Bagon could he seen. "Alright let's finish this up I wanna get to the next town. Charmander use Growl then Scratch, Bagon use Bite, both of you avoid the wool!" With that the Pokemon began their orders. Charmander let out a deep growl hoping to lower Mareep's attack as Bagon used Bite opening his jaws and hoping to chomp into the Mareep's head, while Charmander charged with a scratch going after Mareep's legs. Mello hoped the battle would be over so he could catch the damned Mareep, but not for battling only for breeding, after all could this Mareep stand up in a battle? Maybe with the right training.... Mello continued with his train of thought as his Pokemon did the work

The Mareep saw Mello release another Pokemon, and she huffed angrily. They aren't going to gang up on me! She frowned deeply, of course she met the trainer who couldn't even follow basic battling common sense. The Mareep turned on her tail quickly, barely making it away from the Bagon's bite, and the Charmander's scratch. She fled, honorably, of course, attack lowered from the growl, into the high grasses from whence she came.
The Wild Mareep Fled!

Mello sighed as the Mareep ran away. "Alright guys let's get going, maybe we can get to the next town before night comes along" he said walking of before the two small dragon Pokemon could protest . As he was walking he opened his bag and pulled out a container, the container was made of fine glass with a metal lid made of fine silver, on the inside of the container was a Pale blue egg with two white spots on the front, the Egg was laying on a blue Pillow on the inside of the container showing how fragile the egg was. "I wonder why Kai wanted me to have this Egg, seems so fragile and valuable, I wonder what this cost him...." he said as he looked through the glass at the Egg. Meanwhile Charmander and Bagon were arguing about something while following their master

A rather large Girafarig walked along the route in Mello's direction, speaking heatedly to a small pokemon next to it. The Girafarig's voice was rather low-pitched for a female, but at about five and a half feet tall, it was easy to doubt that nobody complained or taunted.
<Ugh. Why are we walking this stupid route again?> At first, her sheer size being so distracting, it would have been hard to see who -or what- she was talking to. It couldn't been her tail, but the thing was drooling, jaws gnashing at pure nothingness. It let out a grunt of <Aahhr? Stupid!>, as it was prone to repeating the host Pokemon's words.
No, she wasn't talking to the tail. The walking palindrome was speaking to a small bug pokemon, who she dwarfed by so much that it was slightly comical. The Spinarak on the ground looked up at her, mandibles dancing as he spoke.
<We walked this stupid route because I wanted to. Besides, it's been two whole days since we've walked it!> The smaller pokemon had to skitter frantically across the ground in order to keep up with the Girafarig's steady steps.
The Girafarig looked up, sensing something approaching. She wasn't too keen on her psychic abilities, so she could only get basic ideas of what was coming.
<Human...two Pokemon?> She closed her eyes and concentrated for a moment before nodding sagely. <We're being approach-> There was a human and two Pokemon, all right, but they were right there. She hadn't needed psychic abilities at all.
<Oh. Nevermind.>
The Spinarak chuckled at his friend's blunder, and moved forward on quick legs to approach Mello and his two Pokemon. <Hello!> He spoke jovially.

Mello sighed as the two Pokemon got closer. The smaller of the two, a Spinarack began to makes noise in a happy tone which Mello could only think of as a greeting, apparently this Pokemon was in a good mood. "Oh.... Uh hello there I guess?" he said with a slight smile as Charamnder and Bagon broke their argument to greet the two newcomers. "Hello" the Charmander said in a tone just as cheerful as the Spinarak "What's up?" the Bagon asked in a somewhat friendly tone, waiting to see what the two wild Pokemon wanted

<Just greeti-> The Spinarak was cut off as his companion talked over him. The Girafarig smiled, completely ignoring the fact that she had cut off another's words. <Let's battle!> Without waiting for a response, the Pokemon jumped back, Growling at the Charmander. She concentrated for a moment more, then launched a Confusion attack at the fire Pokemon. The Girafarig had been itching for a battle, but hadn't revealed it to her friend, afraid he would try and talk her out of it. The Spinarak was a pacifist, and actually disliked battling. "Pointless violence," he would call it. The bug Pokemon didn't move an inch as she attacked the Charmander.
