Name: Mello (Ryuu Takashi)
Age: 16
Appearance:
Standing at six feet, one inch tall, Mello has a very slim figure. He has a somewhat pale skin color and sharp black eyes. His hair is a Golden color falling messily down to just below his ears, except for his bangs which are cut roughly above his eyes. Giving his hair a messy look which is far from a bowl cut. Around his head is a black bandanna with his mob’s symbol on it.
The symbol is that of a skull found on the top of a Houdhour’s head with two Katana going through it and the word Sakumoto just above the skull. Mello wears a black T-shirt with a slightly faded long-sleeve denim jacket that he leaves open. On his lower half, the blond teen dons a simple pair of half baggy black jeans. Around his waist is a pokeball belt, waiting in anticipation for a pokeball to be placed in one of it’s holders. To cover his feet, a pair of sneakers that are red and -surprise, surprise- black.
One of the accessories the teen wears is a pair of black fingerless gloves with pokeball deigns on them that have slowly started to flake off. While most of Mello’s clothes are faded and worn, he wears a new looking black cloth tied around his bicep with a creepy smiley face on it. The same creepy smiley face could be found on the deck of playing cards Mello kept in his pants pocket.
Personality: Mello is a happy-go-lucky sort of guy almost all the time, thus giving off that creepy insane vibe from him. He is playful and can’t resist tossing a joke out when the opportunity arises. Though almost every joke he busts out is a boring “that’s what she said” joke, often making people roll their eyes or groan. The jokester almost takes nothing seriously, meaning he takes no person as a threat.
Mellow is a rash individual and often jumps to action without thinking, making him fail at many things. Once, Mello was charged with the task of fixing a broken TV. After hours of fighting, it all ended with broken glass and a lot of blood on the ground.
With all the fail and things backfiring on him, Mello has started to develop a sense of bad luck.
When it comes to Pokemon he is very judging and won't deal with weakness, Training his Pokemon beyond their Limit in what he calls 'tough love'. Even though he trains them so hard he cares for them deep down and will not do anything to hurt them seriously. However he has a bit of a ego problem and can't take a lose and will snap at anyone who bugs him about losing in anyway. When people Bug him about the way he spells his 'name' he always comes back with "You're right mellow does have a W but my name doesn't" followed with a creepy smile
History: Born and raised in Pyrite Town of Orre, Ryuu’s parents did their best to give their growing boy a good safe life. They even bought “insurance” from one of the local gangs of the town. Who would have thought that it would be that very gang who came and shot Ryuu’s parents, forever changing his life?
It had been a very stormy night, but Ryuu’s mother told him that it meant the morning was going to be bright and sunny. The young boy woke up early to an unusually loud bang of what he thought was thunder. Rolling over in his small bed, Ryuu was about to go to sleep when he noticed that there were no clouds in the sky; the sun was just starting to come up! Confused, Ryuu got up and started to climb down the stairs. “Mommy?” He called down when he heard another ‘thunder’ and his mother scream. It wasn’t the kind of scream he heard when she dropped something or found a caterpie that ate all of the snacks, no. This was a scream that Ryuu had never heard in his life.
The small child sat where he was and started to cry. This was loud enough for the gang to hear and turn their guns on the boy. They waited for the signal from their leader, but it did not come. Kai Sakumoto walked in front of the others and picked up Ryuu.
“Mellow out, boy, things will be fine.” He said, Even though Ryuu had no clue what it meant but he took a liking to it and around the age of 10, Ryuu stopped respounding to his name and demanded that he be called "Mello". This name change baffled the gang and it's leader and to this day, anyone who called Mello Ryuu may end up in the hospital with a gunshot wound.
Growing up as the Sakumoto gang's leader's son, Ryuu was taught the basics of being a gang member. When he turned the tender age of seven, he was taught how to fight hand to hand and at the age of twelve, How to hold and shoot a gun. But most of all, how to survive on the cold lonely streets of Pyrite Town.
After years of living as a young gang member Ryuu had gone through some rough times. However every time he would freak out or get pissed, his new 'father' would tell him one thing "Mellow out, kid". After hearing it for years and year he changed his name to "Mello" for no reason to the other members of even his 'father'. Maybe because it just stuck in his head, Or maybe because he was just insane.
Once he turned 16, his father shipped him from Orre and to Airore to help out their small branch of thugs in the Region. After making it to Torrenta he was ordered to get a Pokemon by any means, since he was 'Usless' without one in the eyes of the small groups leader....
