Avara's Ideas (Absol evolutions 90% done)

Note: Currently these are just the ideas, my spriting skills are still too rusty for the sprites just yet.


Absol Evolutions (Disaster Specific):
Tresol (Tremor Pokemon) (Ground/Rock Type)
Often thought to cause disasters much like it's unevolved form this pokemon does in fact warn of Earth related disasters.

Description: Your average Tresol is sometimes mistaken for a Rhyhorn at a glance due to it's armoured body, however the colours and shape are all wrong. The pokemon most similar to a Tresol is in fact Golem, while size wise an arcanine is most similar. Now the body of a Tresol is almost smooth and very chiseled, it's fur having transformed into close fitting stone armour.

Similar in style to that of the Terracota army, while it's horn and spur claws have been replaced with small spiked burrs for digging into the ground. It's tail has also changed and become similar to a smooth flail for shattering rocks in it's way.

Volnus, long thought to be a separate pokemon that heralds fiery disasters. This pokemon was recently discovered to be an Absol evolution.

Evolution: Absol --> Level up 50+ on Route 10/Level up holding a Fire Stone at level 30+ --> Volnus

Evolution: Absol --> Level up 50+ on Route 7/Level up holding a Silk Scarf at Level 30+ --> Hurasol

Anyways, these are good ideas, but how can they evolve into those forms?

I was thinking either via the stones or by levelling up to say level 50 in certain areas of Airore, perhaps even allowing either method.

Hehe thanks Ri, shouldn't be long really until I just need to get around to the sprites or talk nicely into getting someone to do them.

I think evo stones, like Water, Fire, Leaf and Thunder stones or something. Or maybe traded, while holding King's Rock, Magmarizer, stuff like that. Or perhaps the levelling up, say level 30, 50's a bit hard, and near water, in a cave, or something.

Yea, but the levels are too high, go lower, like about level 10-15 or higher, and let them hold Plates, like the plates that make Arecus whatever type is that plate (Water Plate = Water Type Arecus).
Tresol - Earth/Stone Plates at level 10-15+
Anami - Splash Plate at 10-15+
Volnus - Flame Plate at 10-15+
Hurasol - Sky Plate at 10-15+

So I've been working to try and get back into spriting and in the process I came up with these two....



Personally I kind of like them but I'm not sure if I want to go further with them or just keep them as things I made during practicing.
