There was a Pokémon running nimbly through the region of Airore. She was heading for the haven area. Behind her lay her parents, their goodbyes brief and neutral. Ahead... a new life filled with hope and oppertunity, with countless adventures to be had and hundreds of different Pokémon to catch. The mint green Espeon turned heads as she darted through the Haven Area, for it was unusual to find Psychic types in this area, even the ones which had evolved from the Eevee that had been released from the lab for Route One or in the plains of Norm. This was because this Espeon had a secret; she wasn't an Espeon.
Sulteron had left her home in another region early that morning, morphing into her Pokémon form so that she might get to her destination faster. It had worked. She was almost upon Apple Blossom Labs, and it was only the afternoon; in her human form, she had neither the speed nor stamina to be able to make it all this way in just a day. She shifted her course slightly, making for a tree. The Espeon never emerged.
Instead, Sulteron stood on her hind legs, feeling her body begin to stretch, her fur shrink into her skin in most places. When she had transformed completely into her human form, only her ears, tail and the jewel on her forehead gave any indication that she was different. Well, that and the traced of green fur and her startling purple eyes. Presently, they surveyed the landscape, knowing that the lab was near by.
Sulteron stretched up tall, working the kinks out of her now changed muscles before taking a sheet of paper out of the pocket of her jeans. On one side, there was a map. The other had a list of starter Pokémon, of which she hadn't descided on one yet. She supposed that she would ask to see a few before choosing one of them for it's personality.
Following the map, the Espeon Pokémorph quickly reached Apple Blossom Labs. She inhaled and exhaled deeply, measuring her breathing. Right. She would go in, get a Pokémon, go out, then begin a new life. A few nervous minutes would be worth that freedom. She reached out a hand tainted with pale green fur, rapping sharply on the door. She found it unlocked, swinging open on her first knock. She stepped inside the cool interior.
Clearing her throat, the young girl called loudly into the laboratory. "H-Hello? Professor Apple Blossom? I'd really like it if I could take a look at a Charmander, Cyndaquil, Chikorita and Eevee!" she called. Although she had once shared the DNA of an Eevee and desperately wanted one on her team, she felt that Charmander had a good moveset and so her descision was slightly in favour of a Charmander. Especially that golden kind which became black when they evolved. Shinies. They were supposed to be more common in this region, right?
