After exiting Route One, Katie alongside Kairi, walked down the slope to enter Petal Town, what a wonderous sight it was from the hilltop, and it was even better when you actually got to the Town. Katie wondered about her Eggs, should she buy Technical Machines whilst she's here? Oh yes, she remembered, the Moon Stone. Katie looked around then approached a tour guide. "Excuse me, where is the Market?" Katie asked him.
"Why, Your in it!" The tour guide explained, gleaming with joy, he pointed all around, in all directions.

Katie nodded and set off, from directions she was given by the towns people, she approached a TM Stall. "Excuse me, Can I buy TM23 Iron Tail x2, and TM15 Hyper Beam."

Katie waited for the Stallsman to take her money and pass her the Technical Machines she required. Iron Tail for Sparky and Akumu and Hyper Beam for for Akumu as well.

[Kairi]

Kairi on the other hand went over to the Rare and Hard to find items,"How much for the Rare Candies?" She asked. She wanted to level up Mighty so she'd be at the same level as Akumu, Katie's Mightyena. While she was here she thought about buying some items to help her eggs hatch faster. She waited for the clerk to tell her the price of Rare Candies.

The Clerk smiled widely at Katie, reaching under the counter to pull out three TM discs. "TM23, Iron Tail, cost 1500 Dollars each, and then Hyper Beam costs 7500 Dollars!" The Clerk swept a hand over his dark hair, eyes lighting up as the girl in front of him presented her money. "That comes to a total of 11,000 Dollars!" He wiped his hands on his apron lightly and accepted her money, counting the money. He frowned deeply, seeing that she didn't have enough.
"Uh, I'm sorry, but there's only $8000 here. I won't be able to sell you all three." He chuckled lightly, trying to bring back a happy mood. "That Hyper Beam is pricey, eh?"


The Rare Items counter had a large assortment of items to sell, everything from Fluffy Tails to Poke Dolls, both very for getting away from wild battles. The only thing their extensive stock lacked, however, were Rare Candies. The woman running the counter fretted about this constantly, for the prices of the leveling items fluctuated from day to day. The manufacturers were either out of the Candies, or they cost way to much for the small store to afford.


The Clerk saw Kairi and smiled warmly. Her smile wilted, however, as Kairi asked about Rare Candies. The woman behind the counter wanted to pull her hair out. Of course you want Candies! The Clerk brought her smile back with a bit of strain, and spoke nicely. "I'm sorry, miss. We don't stock Rare Candies. They're in high demand, you see? A larger city may stock them, maybe, but not our small town." Sighing, she looked away for a moment, then looked back. "Would there happen to be anything else you want?"

Katie nodded, and then spoke in a soft tone. "I'll just take the one Iron Tail, TM30 Shadow Ball". Although she was dissapointed, she didn't look it. She put on a happy face, smiling at the clerk. She then wondered what she would do here, Was it worth staying the night, or move onto the next Route to challenge the First Gym Leader.

Katie yawned, why was she yawning though? It was the afternoon, surely she couldn't be that tired. Surely I can't be this tired...it's two in the afternoon...

She shook her head and looked down at Sparky, who just smiled up at her. "Pika Pii". With that, Sparky jumped back up onto her shoulder and took a look at the clerk for himself.

"Oh, and do you have a Moon Stone I could buy? Or know where to" Katie asked, she was so caught up with the Technical Machines that she forgot about the Eggs for a couple of seconds, that's what she would do, spend the night in Petal Town and comfort her Eggs.

Kairi sighed,"I'll be back in a minute," she wanted to buy three attacks for Shiva from the TM store and wasn't sure if she'd be able to aford anything else. She walked up to the TM/HM Counter beside Katie,"I'd like to buy TMs for Ice Beam, Iron Tail and Shadow Ball, please," she said,"If I can't aford all three I'll just take Ice Beam and Shadow Ball."

OOC: I hope I can get all three. I should be able too since I have more money then Bec.

ooc: Kairi, being rude in the out-of-character won't get me to reply any faster. Obviously, if I haven't posted yet, it means I didn't have a chance to. "Well, do I get the items or not?" It should be apparent that if I haven't replied with you getting the items, you don't yet.

The shopkeeper nodded at Katie. "Shadow Ball is $7500, so that comes to a total of $9000!" With a nod, the man placed the correct TMs on the counter, and took Katie's money graciously. "As for a Moonstone, we don't sell those here. You may be able to find it a town or two over, though."

He then turned to Kairi with a smile. "Ice Beam and Shadow Ball are both $7500, and Iron Tail is $1500." He calculated the total mentally in a few seconds. "That comes to a total of $16500!" Taking the discs from under the counter, he counted Kairi's money out and slid the discs over to her. "Thank you very much!"

"Thanks a lot," Kairi said, taking the TMs and teaching all three attacks to Shiva. She learnt Ice Beam, Shadow Ball and Iron Tail. Kairi then turned to Katie,"Where do you want to go next?" She asked her friend. She figured they shouldn't get greedy and spend all there money. They should save it in case something came up and they really needed it.

(Hey Kairi, I'm not sure Becky is comming back. Do you want to just continue on your journey by yourself?)

(OOC: I'll give her one more week to post. Also my eggs hatch today. It's been a month.)

Kairi just thought of something else she needed. If she wanted her Pichu to evolve after it hatched she'd need a Heart Scale. So, she went to the Evolution Stand. Pulling out $800 and handing it to the clerk she said,"I'd like to buy a Heart Scale please."

[Crazed Lapras]

The lady at the counter smiled and quickly whisked the heart scale away. A moment later she plopped a nicely wrapped package in front of Kairi. "Thank you for shopping with us." She said perkily as she swept the money off the counter.

(Eck, double post. My bad...)

A sudden, strange sound split the air- a loud and resounding CRACK! It was comming from Kairi's bag, which was now wiggling rather violently. The top of the bag flopped open, revealing the two eggs inside. Only, they weren't so much eggs any more. The yellow one was mostly in pieces and a tiny Pichu climbed out of the bag, blinking his little eyes against the bright light. He was quickly followed by a shiny female pachirisu. She giggled and gently tugged on the Pichu's ears, trying to tie them in a bow.

Pichu didn't like this one bit and started tugging at Pachirisu's tail. The two babies tunbled out of the bag onto the ground and started fighting with each other,"Pichu! Pachirisu! Stop fighting!" Kairi demanded. Pachirisu got a little bit jelious when Kairi only put her in a PokeBall. She pulled out her Heart Scale that she just brought and evolved Pichu, into a Pikachu.

She then turned around to tell Katie the good news,"Look Katie, now I also have a Pikachu." Nothing. There was no reply,"Katie? Sparky?" Kairi looked confused. Katie and her Pikachu, Sparky were nowhere to be found,"Oh no! She's gone!" Kairi found a letter at the TM Stand,

Kairi,

I have gone to visit my brother. I'll be a while. I'm not sure if I'll see you again, but I'll be on your tail. Good luck!

"Oh no! But, I thought we could travel forever!" Kairi sobbed. She couldn't believe it! Katie had only been using her to get to her brother. Pikachu and Shiva tried to make her feel better,"Your right! This is no time to feel bad. I still have my Breeder journey ahead of me. And if we ever run into her again, we'll travel! Let's go you two!" Kairi said. Pikachu got on her shoulder, while Shiva followed her, and they left town.

(OOC: Got tried of waiting for a post, so I had to come up with a reason for Katie disappearing. Also I can't use Pachirisu in battle if it only knows defense moves. Can you give it an attacking move please?)

ooc// You can't do that. It won't be fair on Becky if she comes back. You never know, maybe she's in hospital. How would you like it if you didn't go on for a month 'cos of IBS or something and then when you came back Kairi was supposedly in Team Chaos? You can move on, of course, without her, but for her sake in future you can say that she decided to travel seperate from Kairi because... she wanted to visit her brother. All right? It's like when you tried to kidnap my character's Lucario. Not nice. We're real people with feelings, too. I'll edit your post, but please don't yell at me like you usually do. I'm doing this purely for Becky.

As for Pachirisu, I can't give it an attacking move because it actually does know an attacking move; Bide. Just use Bide; it's a good attack.
