A figure could be seen approaching A.B Labs. He looked around at the new area, surroundings, Pokemon and even comparing this region to the places he had been before. As he walked towards the Building that was A.B Laboratories he began singing to himself
“I’d like to be! Under the sea! In a Octopuses garden! In the shade!” He sang aloud as he approached the door.
He stopped frozen simply staring at the door. What to expect? What to think? How to act? This area was completely new to him. Nothing like Hoenn! SO he reached out and opened the door walking inside looking around for the professor
“Hello? Is anyone here?” Tuck said in a average tone

A mass of frizzy red hair poked through a door frame. A hand reached out, pushing a pair of plain, simple glasses further up the pale nose of the face. When the glasses reached the eyes, the woman could see Tuck as more than a plain, fuzzy blob, and so, upon realizing she had a customer, her face broke into the traditional smile. Her long neck followed the head as she walked into the room, labcoat brushing the wooden door on her way out. She nodded to Tuck. "Hello. I am Professor Apple Blossom. This is my lab, of course." she greeted Tuck, eying the boy. Typical rookie trainer, in her opinion. That meant he was here for a starter.
"Are you here for a starter? Yes, yes, take a look at this list; we have lots of Pokémon for you to choose from. Tell me if one takes your fancy and I'll show a few to you. It's always easier to choose a Pokémon if you know what it's personality is like." the professor smiled, handing Tuck a list of the Pokémon they currently had. She brushed a lock of curls out of her face, only to have it flop back in place again.

Tuck smiled at the lady and nodded
“I am indeed here for a starter! Pleasure to meet you.” Tuck said in a Polite voice.
He took the list and over looked it. He over looked the list as if it were nothing. But then he froze, his gaze was locked on one Pokémon. Ralts! He had always wanted a Ralts. After about thirty seconds of staring he looked up at the lady his eyes widened in excitement, he said in an excited tone
“Do ya still have a Ralts?”

Professor Apple Blossom broke into an even wider grin. Ralts, one of the Pokémon exclusive to August! She loved it when someone asked for one of the Pokémon she'd worked extra hard to catch as well as the usual specially bred Pokémon. She reached into a drawer, showing Tuck two Pokéballs. "Oh, we have eight Ralts; no-one's asked for one yet this month. I'll show you a male and a female, and you can pick one, OK?" she told Tuck, pressing the buttons to each Pokéball.
The first Ralts was the female. She gave a little twirl, then stopped and giggled, grinning at Tuck. She was surprisingly graceful as she flowed across the room to him, eyes peering up from her green domed head. Very friendly and loyal, with noticable good looks.
The second Ralts was the male. However, he was without a doubt a special Pokémon; this Ralts was a shiny Pokémon. The shiny didn't seem too bothered. Rather than taking much interest in Tuck, he leapt athletically onto a high table, doing a couple of karate moves and finally giving Tuck a respectful nod and a half smile. A show-off, but respectful and strong.

Tuck over looked both of the Ralts. He loved the males attitude but the Females little eyes were just to much for Tuck. He looked down towards the Female Ralts and silently in his head was thinking “Now isn’t she just the most adorable thing I have ever seen!”. He had made his decision
“I want this one.” He said with a calm tone and mind, knowing that Ralts could sense Emotion. He then kneeled down to the Female Ralts and gave her a scratch on the back of her neck. He loved the gracefulness of her and how friendly she looked. He also knew how once a Ralts is bonded enough to someone how they were very loyal. He would be at ease knowing that when he fell down to his lowest point mentally that there would be some one to help him! For years of him being a song writer he had known that no one else Is going to stop and help you out when you have hit rock bottom. He was confident in his decision.

Professor Apple Blossom smiled broadly. It was great to see someone choosing a Pokémon on it's personality, not gender or colouring. She knew just by this that Tuck would make a perfect trainer. Ralts seemed to think so, too; she giggled as he scratched the back of her neck, relaxing and smiling in pleasure. The shiny humphed, letting himself back into his Pokéball again. Clearly, he didn't really care, or if he did, he was doing a good job hiding it.
AB handed Tuck his new Pokémon's Pokéball. She was pleased to do so, glad she was seeing this trainer off on his journey. She knew it'd be a good one. "Here is your Pokémon," she said, handing him Ralts' Pokéball. "I'll leave her out. She seems to be one of those Pokémon who prefer to be out their Pokéballs most of the time. Here are your items, too." she finished, handing over some starter's items.

Tuck gave a smile as he was handed the pokeball. He clipped it on the inside of his Trench coat and took the items placing them in various pockets of the coats interior.
“Alright. Thanks for your help Miss” Tuck said with a smile
He reached down and lifted the Ralts up putting her on his shoulder.
“You can sit there for a bit, Alright?” Tuck said to the Ralts.
The Ralts gave a nod and a Giggle and Tuck turned towards the door and began walking. Just before he opened the door he turned again back to Professor A.B and said
“Thanks again for all the Help miss! I hope we meet again down the road!” He said with a smile.
He then turned back to the door and began walking towards Route 1. Tuck felt as if he was going to really enjoy this new area. He had his Guitar and best of all his own Pokemon! He was felt ready to take on the world! Nothing could go wrong!
