A town full of lively people, all of them doing their own little thing in their own little way. It was weird how they simply went along as if nothing would ever change, even if they tried to make it happen. Still, God blessed them with another bright day as they did what they were destined to do. Things would soon change... for the better! The eevee PokeMorph and its Turtwig swiftly, yet merrily made their way down the street, searching for the gym. They weren't letting it slip their gaze. They wanted to get in, win and come back out. Then...
Oh, bugger.... That's not our guy. We're looking right at Dante Hyubasi, the young, tactiful Trainer who has almost made it to the next town! It wasn't that far of a walk, really. More of a stroll than anything, but due to that tedious fight with the currently-being-carried Cubone, their walk was much longer. Charmander was still in the Pokeball, resting and waiting for the next battle it longed for... even though it was practicaly a Tackle away from fainting.
So... tired from walking... and carrying this Cubone! Must... make it easier... Dante placed the Cubone down on the ground so he could maneuver and reach for a Pokeball. This would catch Cubone, something the teen didn't initially plan on doing, but it would relieve the stress from his aching body. The red beam shot out from the Pokeball and sucked the Ground Type in. Dante quickly put the orb down and waited to see if the catching process worked.

ooc// Dante, you gonna return to Sinjoenn? We have a cross between a Magikarp and a Bidoof! A Doofkarp!
ic// Since Cubone was presently so weak, the capture procedure was bound to be easy from the start. However, he had been out for a while, meaning that, during that time, he'd had a little of his strength come back, although he hadn't woken. Good thing he hadn't, or carrying him would be even harder! The Ground type was drawn inside the Pokéball, which juddered far more furiously than anyone would have thought possible of such a weak Pokémon. However, at last, a long awaited ping was to be heard.
Cubone was caught!

A sigh of relief followed the final beep of the PokeBall. "Thank the lord. It's easier to carry and it's my new Pokemon." The colored orb glinted in the morning sun as it sat there on the cold ground. It was a new one, the PokeBall. It was clear on the ruby surface; a few small scratches, but still reflecting the outside world. It was a wonder how such power could be contained in a ball of this size. This Cubone was one of the strongest Pokemon he had faced, and even it was halted by the power contained within this orb.
Dante bent over slowly, reaching for the ball and grasping it in his right hand. The sight of the town was over the horizon, the red roof sending up a flag to alert him. With no hesitation, the trainer stuffed the item into his pocket and jogged to the town.
At Town
A single step into this town sent a flurry of scents through his nostrils, suffocating him with their toxic grasp. "What are those smells!?"

It was strange for Dante not to like the smell of Petal Town; most people sighed in delight as it entered their noses. It was the smell of flowers, mingled with various other smells. Freshly cut grass and an earthy scent added to the planty smells, and then there were scents of the various shops lining the path; bakeries, clothes shops, the big library. Someone looked at Dante curiously, unsure why he did not approve of the town scent.
Despite the smell, the town was rather dainty and pretty. The houses were in neat rows, mingled with more shops. No massive chains had shops or restaurants here; it was all family businesses, nice little places with friendly staff who chatted to their friends and neighbors in their shop. The Pokémart and Pokémon Centre were within sight.

The two buildings, the Pokemon Center and the Pokemart, weren't far away in the small, quaint town. Those were the first things he saw, other than the pedestrian that decided to stop and stare quizzically at his personage. It was obviously due to the face he was making, which was a contorted sort of look. The myriad of smells coming from all directions was unbearable to his slightly sensitive nose. Well, he had better be on his way, instead of just standing with his hands in his pockets. The Trainer took off in a brisk walk towards the Pokemon Center, arriving in under a minute.
Dante stopped before the automatic doors as he looked to his right and stared off into the distance. The distraction was subtle; almost like the sneeze of a mouse. It was a slight flash of what seemed like a golden tail. The appendage shone with an amazing brilliance that only a poet could describe. It was the most amazing thing he had ever seen. The doors to the Center slid open, allowing everyone inside to see the dumbfounded, awe-inspired teen with his mouth nearly wide open. He looked over quickly to see a kid and their parent looking in his direction.
He had to admit; it was one of the more embarrassing moments he had ever had. With a flushed face, Dante went to the counter and began to take out his Pokeballs to give to the Nurse. "Can you help me with these?" It was a dumb question, but he wanted to ask to be polite. There was also something he wanted to ask the Nurse... "By any chance," began Dante as he put his arm on the counter to lean on it, "Do you know anything about a 'golden' Pokemon, by any chance?"

ooc// What exactly are you trying to do with the whole tail thing, cos I'm confused.
ic// Nurse Joy nodded, taking the Pokéballs and slotting them carefully into the machine to heal. When she returned, the machine was flashing and making a gentle humming sound, the Pokémon inside those Pokéballs finding their health was restoring. She heard Dante's question and frowned. "A golden Pokémon? There are plenty of Pokémon that are gold coloured, or have gold shinies. Like... shiny Magikarp, shiny Growlithe and Abra? If your talking about a special one, I haven't heard anything of this legend or whatever, sorry." she replied.
The Nurse was puzzled as to why he had asked that question. She had read a lot from the library, and not once in there had she come across a legend about a 'golden' Pokémon. It was confusing, but the machine announced that it had finished healing Dante's Pokémon for a decent distraction. She moved over and took the Pokéballs out, returning them to him. "If it was something you saw, it'll probably be a wild Pokémon, there's a few about town, or just a flash of light reflecting from a door or someone's watch." she tried to ressure him as she waited for him to take his Pokéballs.

OOC: Open thread huh?
Jamie walked though town with her Squirtle, Squirts. She decided to take a little break in the Pokemon Center. Squirts was, after all very tried from that long fight he'd had with the Drowzee that she has caught back on Route 1. She put Squirts in his Pokeball and went into the center holding Squirts and Drowzee's Pokeballs.
Jamie stood behind the person at the counter waiting her turn. She heard the boy asked Nurse Joy,"Do you know anything about a 'golden' Pokemon, by any chance?" Jamie almost fell over, anime style,'What?! What is that?' She thought. Nurse Joy had answered the boy with, "A golden Pokémon? There are plenty of Pokémon that are gold coloured, or have gold shinies. Like... shiny Magikarp, shiny Growlithe and Abra? If your talking about a special one, I haven't heard anything of this legend or whatever, sorry."
Nurse Joy then continued, looking puzzled,"If it was something you saw, it'll probably be a wild Pokémon, there's a few about town, or just a flash of light reflecting from a door or someone's watch." Jamie noticed his Pokemon were all healed up, so she waited for him to take his Pokeballs and move out of the way so she could get her turn.
