Its been a Hard Days Night

As Tuck walked down the path known as Route 1 he looked around observing the sun light and just couldn’t help this would be a perfect picnic spot. With his Ralts on his Shoulder and his Guitar on his back. He couldn’t help but to just sit down and take in the fresh air!

“ How about we take a break? What ya say?” Tuck asked. Rembering he still needed to name his new friend. It would come in time he thought! He took his cloth Guitar case off and sat down aginst a tree. He sat Ralts down seeing if she wanted to move around or what not. He then looked up at the sky couldn’t help but say out loud

“Ya know… This reminds me of the day of the bands first gig!”
His Ralts looked up at him. Her sensing his Emotion he. He was in a great mood!

“Raalll?” She said questioningly up towards Tuck.
Tuck looked down tot eh Ralts and smirked.

“Back in the Hoeen Region I was a Guitarist in a band. I probably still would be if the band didn’t fall apart like it did. But Ehh its been a hard days night!” He said not even realizing he used the term“Hard Days Night”

That was the song the played for there first Gig. One of them at least. He quickly pulled out his PERFECTLY Clean Fender Strato Caster(http://musikaster.com/shop/images/Fender%20Stratocaster%20Standard%20Mex.%20BSB.jpg). Its Sunburst shined in the sun light. He then took out the Amp witch was battery powered. He flipped it on and began picking around on it.

“Bah… Its WAY out of tune. That’s what I get for not playing for a week!” He mumbled as he adjusted the knobs on the end
Finally it was in the average drop E Tuning and he began playing a little riff starting with a open strum a few figures placed on the middle area strings. He then proceeded to continue playing the song he played for the bands first Gig. A Hard Days Night!

“Its been a hard days night! And I’ve been working-g like a dog! Its been a hard days night I should be sleeping! Like a log!” He sang aloud with his guitar playing.

A Pokémon was soaring high above, his feathers being ruffled by a soft breeze. He opened his beak, chirping a pretty little song. He was proud of his voice; it was the best of all his family. He sang a little louder, and heard another chirping Flying type answer him. He smiled. He swooped on. Soon, he heard a different noise. It was loud and disruptive. He couldn't hear or see any other Pokémon nearby. This seemed like one of those human's awful rock songs. He swooped down. He would silence this!

Aha! A Ralts! Since humans couldn't understand him, then the Ralts would be able to sense that the Starly was annoyed and there were no other Pokémon nearby. Starly landed on the amp. He covered his ears, twittering madly at Tuck in Pokémon laguage. If Tuck was able to understand, he'd have heard, ~Save that for the cities, punk! You're scaring off all the Pokémon! It's nasty, nasty!~[/color], but of course, he'd have heard ~Starly Star Leee! Sta ar! Ley Star starly!~[/color] Starly looked. There was a cord... that gave power to the guitar thing, right? He pulled it out. Yes, the noise stopped! Starly puffed up his chest feathers, ready to fight this person who'd scared everyone.[/size]

Tuck not even realizing his Amp was so loud turned to the angered Starly.

“I’m guessing you don’t want an Encore?” Tuck said in a Cocky tone. But he some what had the right to be. I mean he was one of the best Guitarists in Hoeen still to the day.

The Ralts how ever was not going to be in a Cocky mood. She spoke in the Pokemon language to the Starly “We are terribly sorry! We will just be going now!” She spoke nervously
Tuck put his Guitar and amp back in the case and stood up. He slung the case over his shoulder and pondered about the Starly he couldn’t help but think that it might be a good idea to capture this Starly… Just maybe he could teach it Fly. But after thinking a bit more he said aloud to himself

“Nope. Not this one.” He said as he looked to his Ralts and then back to the Starly.

“Hey Ralts… Lets battle this kill joy! Use Shadow Sneak!” He said in a Excited tone

It took the Ralts a second to realize what Tuck was asking. Then she realized that he was serious about battling. She then disappeared into the Shadows and sneaked up behind the Starly and rammed towards the Starly full force.

Starly attempted to flutter out the way, but was caught by the Shadow Sneak. It wasn't as hard as it would have been had the bird been on the ground, but it was still pretty strong. Starly cried out, almost falling to the ground. He pumped his wings strongly, however, and remained airborne. Ah, a battle! Good! Now Starly could teach this punk a lesson and make him stick to playing for humans so that he didn't scare any more Pokémon! The Flying type sighed. Most musicians used the countryside for inspiration for their songs, not to scare everything in it. The last guitarist Starly saw had played peaceful and soft folk music, to which he and a couple of other Pokémon had actually sang along to.

But that was behind him now. The current task was to defeat the punk! Starly flew higher to get momentum, then dropped like a bullet, wings partially out to aim himself at Ralts; this was a Quick Attack, very accurate and slightly painful.

Tuck had smirked when Ralts made contact with the Starly. He started to get a bit cocky thinking ‘This is going to be easy! What could possibly go wroung’ but of course this was only the beginning of the battle. As Tuck looked at the Starly he realized he was flying towards Ralts.

“Ralts get out of th-“He attempted to yell. But it was too late.
The Starly had made contact with the Ralts!

She jumped back a bit and gripped her chest area where she was hit. She then looked up towards the Starly and she figured it best to attack back. She wasn’t about to let this Starly show her up! She once again disappeared into the Shadows.

“Your going to regret that…” She said a millisecond before re appearing to the side of the Starly and throwing her body at Starly in a tackling motion but this time she had different plans. Why just tackle when she could Tackle and attempt to hold the Starly down. As she flew towards the Starly she went to grab a hold of the Starlys body making sure to mainly keep the wings from moving.

Tuck was glad that Ralts had acted on her own on the matter cause he was clueless on what to do. Ralts could tell by Tucks emotions and figured Tuck might as well make a attempt to capture the Starly. Tuck stood anxious to see what would happen. Gripping an empty pokeball ready for when the right moment came…

Starly saw the Pokéball in Tuck's hand and nearly laughed aloud. The trainer was thinking of catching him already? Anyone would know that it would take at least four or so attacks until a Pokémon was catchable! And didn't he want Ralts to gain experience; Ralts would only level up if Starly fainted! Honestly, he was a complete noob. The bird Pokémon was rather obnoxious, and was under the impression that Tuck was not a threat at all. Why, Starly could take a nap and not be disturbed!

Starly, however, was so engrossed in finding fault in Tuck and Ralts that he forgot to keep watch on the battle. Ordinarily, he'd have easily spotted what Ralts was doing and would have quickly dodged, but Starly wasn't paying attension. Being pinned to the ground barely hurt at all, but it meant he couldn't attack. This was foul play. He could see, however, that Ralts also couldn't attack; her only offensive move was Shadow Sneak, which needed to be used from a distance. Starly, although not able to inflict pain, used a peircing Growl attack to lower Ralt's Attack stat.

Both Tuck and Ralts ears went partially deaf from the piercing Growl. And Tuck began to think and say aloud to himself

“Is it really worth having a Pokémon like this with us? Obnoxious? Hmm…. NOPE!” He said in a quick burst then continued In a much louder tone sense he had been partially deaf

“I guess use Shadow sneak again!?!” He said in a confused tone.

She quickly let go of the Starly and then kicked off ATTEMPTING to push the starly a little bit hopefully harming it in some way. Then disappearing into the shadows. Another Shadow sneak was coming but she didn’t come out to soon. She waited for precise timing. She snuck around a bit to the right of where she was holding the Starly down. Good eyes and a possible good sense of smell would be able to tell her location possibly.

Starly at first got up, brushing himself down with a wing. He looked about for Ralts, but couldn't see the Pyshic type Pokémon. Oh, dear. Where could she be? Then he realized what she was doing. The hard to miss Shadow Sneak attack, oh no! He twittered in alarm, then thanked his keen eyes and lucky stars that he could see a vague shadow. The scenery was slightly darker in one spot, and Starly focused on that.

The bird Pokémon didn't make a move, however, knowing that he wasn't likely to hit. Since it would be harder to see when using a Tackle attack, Ralts would have easily been able to dodge had he done that. So, instead, he flew a foot into the air, waiting for the Shadow Sneak to come.

Ralts sat in the shadows for two reasons. Strategy and sneak attack which she just lost. And that she was exhausted from all the running about! She didn’t know how long she could keep this up.
She looked to Tuck.

This being Tucks VERY first battle he had no idea what to do. But he could tell that Ralts was getting tired. This next attack was all or nothing. He gave a nod towards the Ralts direction and the Ralts appeared!

She used most of the Energy she had left to throw herself towards the Starly! However she did get hit by the foot sticking out she had her eyes, her hopes and the Shadow sneak attack locked onto Starlys head area for max damage! The force she was using to attack the Starly could easily go over the Leg and towards her targeted area. She lunged over the foot and went for her final attempt to knock this Starly out!

Starly knew that this was Ralt's last move. He knew that it was her or him. He just hoped it was her who would end up in the dust, and that Tuck would learn a lesson of not to play loud rock music where there were wild Pokémon. He twittered, his musical voice angry as his head turned frantically, attempting to see where Ralts could be right now. Hm... he looked this way and that, but there was no sign of any Psychic type.

Finally, he felt a tremendous blow to his chest, and knew at that same time that the Shadowsneak had been delivered. He'd been too late. Now he had no chance of winning this battle, for it would be over in a second. He crashed hard to the ground, groaning in agony, before attempting desperately to get up. He managed to pull himself to his feet, but his little legs were shaking and after a moment he crashed right back down. His eyes closed and he lay unmoving. He had fainted for sure, meaning Tuck and Ralts were the winners of this battle.

Ralts gained one level!

Tuck stared at the fallen Starly and kept thinking. Had we really won? It was a huge surprise to him! It was his first battle and he had won it! After awhile he realized he was still holding his breathe and let out a quick breathe and began breathing again.

“We actually won! Stupid Starly. Just doesn’t know good music!” He said in a proud tone before turning back to the Ralts.
He ran towards her and quickly picked her up giving her a hug.

“That was amazing! You really are awesome” He said to the Ralts.
He then over looked the Ralts seeing she had some wounds.

“Utoh.. I think we should probably go and get you some medical help. I’m guessing one of the Pokémon Centers?” He said curiously as he began walking towards the next stop. Petal Town!
