Well, it was about time these were written. We can't have people raising hordes of supermons, now, can we?
The legendaries which can be obtained by trainers are not all-powerful, one-of-a-kind creatures. Legendaries are still rarer than any other Pokémon, of course. There are more than one of each kind, though. In battle, they are only slightly stronger than an ordinary Pokémon. They can still have their abilities, just not quite as strong. For example, a Suicune would not be able to cover a whole route or routes in storms or teleport, Celebi would not be able to take others back in time with it, and Arceus would not be able to create universes.
There are legendaries which still do have those powers. These legendaries are the original legendaries, the 'God Legendaries'. These cannot be caught, not even with a Master Ball. They have extreme power. There is only one of each of them; one Mew, one Giratina, etc.

Aw! But I was going to use a Master Ball on Arceus! What's the point of me having the Master Ball then if I can't even use it? That makes no sense.

You can- but it won't be the 'God' Arceus. It'll be a weaker copy.

Sweet! I personally agree with these rules fully. Personally i don't like it when people have there goal to where they are going to go and catch a ton of Legendaries and epically shiny legends. NO OFFENSE TO ANY ONE I just don't get it! Anyway! Yeah thanks for posting this Birdy!
