The door to the labs slowly swung open, revealing a smiling face. It was framed in a mass of shocking red curls, which she brushed out her face before pushing her glasses further up her nose. Without a doubt, this person standing before Psycho was Professor Apple Blossom. She didn't even question who Psycho was or why she was there, so really there wouldn't have been much need to hack into their system. The Professor's traditional smile was there, and she greeted Psycho warmly. "Hello, I'm Professor Apple Blossom. You must be here for a starter. Come on in!" she said, waving the girl in.
After eyeing Psycho's bare feet, Professor AB looked up to her face. She pulled a folded up piece of paper out of her pocket, and unfolded it. It looked as though the same action had been repeated quite a lot. She handed the sheet to Psycho. A few Pokémon with their names and types were printed over it, as the professor waved her hand over to point out. "These are the Pokémon we offer as starters. Pick a few, and I'll show them to you." she explained, moving closer to the cabinet where the starter Pokémon were stored.

Professor Apple Blossom nodded. Psycho didn't seem the type to go for a Pokémon because it was cute. Maybe she intended to evolve them. Either way, it didn't matter. AB grabbed two random Pokéballs from the Pikachu drawer, then the Eevee draw. She pressed the buttons, releasing the Pokémon within.
The Pikachu's cheeks crackled merrily with electricity. However, this Pikachu was not the standard yellow; he was orange. His eyes twinkled, his face bearing an extremely mischevous and daring expression. A paw touched AB, and she gasped in pain as the electric mouse shocked her. The Pikachu flashed Psycho a smile, merriment shining in his eyes; the shiny Pikachu was a prankster.
The Eevee was a male. He fluffed up his coat, preening it proudly. He was a show-off. The Professor smiled at Psycho. "Right. Well, this Pikachu is a shiny, a rare condition. Pikachu have a much better moveset than Eevee. The Eevee seems to be self-obsessed. The Pikachu doesn't have a much better nature; he seems to think that the best thing about life is to play pranks and annoy people. They can both be very loyal once you've gained their trust. I'd reckomend praise for Eevee, and laughing with Pikachu if you're into pranks. If you don't like either of them, I can always show you some more..." AB trailed off, stepped backwards as a crackling Pikachu tail swung towards her. A little snigger came from the mouse.
