ooc// Yeah, I think the length's fine.
ic// Shuddering at the effects of the Growl lowering his attack stat, Fairo attempted to hop back out of the range of the following Scratch. Failing to do so, the only influence this move had on the Scratch was that now the claws struck his back rather than his face. The Charmeleon let out an odd sound, and Sulteron shivered because of it. She was thinking hard about what to do next, since it was clear that this turn or next someone would be going down. There was a way to make sure it was her, but there was a little risk in it too. Still, it was worth a try. "Fairo, use Smokescreen then Overheat!" she called. The move was powerful and the Smokescreen would mean there was less chance of Meowth dodging or landing another attack.
Fairo was pleased to be using such a strong, powerful move for once. The Meowth still near, the Fire type watched her carefully as he breathed thick torrents of smoke into the surroundings, tail burning a little higher as he prepared a new attack. The salamander took a number of deep breaths, able to make out the cat in the smoke since it wasn't his accuracy that had been lowered before power exploded around him in a huge, impressive torrent of flame directed entirely at Meowth. There wasn't much chance of Meowth dodging thanks to the Smokescreen, and although accurate there was a chance of this move missing. Fairo wiped his forehead, recovering after using such a powerful move. He felt his special attack stat take a worrying drop from the use of the Overheat, but he didn't care too much. [/blockquote]
