Prologue

[Kairi]

It was a nice summer's day. The wind sewed though an opened bedroom window though a brown headed girl's hair who was still sleeping in her bed. This was Kairi Hill beginning Pokemon Breeder, who will also collect Badges just for fun not to be in the League. Cause let's face it, there isn't really much for a Breeder to do.

But Kairi wasn't a Breeder yet. She first had to go to the lab and get her starter and Breeder's license first. A Glameow was sleeping at the foot of Kairi's bed. Glameow got up yawned and scrted. She then decided it was about time for Kairi to be getting up. She walked over to Kairi's face and starting licking her.

"Ok, ok," Kairi giggled,"I'm up Glameow. I'm up." Glameow meowed and hopped onto the floor. Kairi got up and her and Glameow exitted the room and went into the kicthen. She fixxed Glameow some cat food.(hehe, cat food, not Pokemon food.) Glameow started eating. She acted like she was staring or something.

Kairi fixxed herself some breakfast and sit down at the table. Her mother was gone at work right now. She had already explained to Kairi last night that she had to go into work early the next day. So, that meant she wouldn't be able to see Kairi off. That was ok, though. After all Kairi wasn't a kid anymore. She was about to become a Pokemon Breeder.

Kairi turned on the TV and watched the News while she ate. After she was done she cut off the TV and got ready to go, taking a shower getting dressed etc and packed everything she'd need on her journey in her bag.

Kairi then left, locking the door behind her. As she walked down to the lab, Kairi smelled the fresh air. It sure was a nice sunny day today. All the flowers were in full bloom. They looked so beautiful. Maybe she'd pick some on her way back. Anyway, Kairi walked up to the lab and knocked on the door. She then stood there waiting for an answer.

[Birdybot]

Professor Apple Blossom answered the door loyally, tucking a lock of wildly curly red hair behind her ear, smiling tiredly. She had little purple bags under her eyes, as though she had not had much sleep for a while. The Professor sighed, blinking hard to try and wake herself up. "I'm sorry; I wasn't able to get all that much sleep. I was up all night fixing a new invention. I'm Professor Apple Blossom, by the way, and I'm here to give you your first Pokémon." she introduced herself, smile wider, more real. She gave a small cough as she led Kairi into the Lab.

Inside the Lab, Apple Blossom stood beside a filing cabinet. She waved an arm up and down it. "This filing cabinet contains all the starter Pokémon. I trust you have selected one or two to take a look at? I would gladly show you some." she said, readying herself to open the appropriate drawer.

[Kairi]

"If you wouldn't mind I'd like to take a look at all the different Eevees you have please," But Kairi was far too excited to wait for the Professor to get the Eevees down so she grabbed all the PokeBalls that said,'Eevee' on them, and pressed each buttom letting each of the Eevees out of there PokeBalls. She looked very excited as she watched each Eevee appear in a flash of light. She'd pick the one she'd like best with a good personally.

[Crazed Lapras]

Professor Apple Blossem raised an eye brow. "You want to see ALL the eevees?" she asked, as though it were quite a feat. But despite her amazement she didn't try to stop Kairi as she let the various eevees out of their pokeballs. Apparently she didn't notice how many there were.

Soon their were eight little eevees scattered around the room. There were four males and four females, as well as a shiny silver eevee of each gender. They began various different actions, revealing their personalities.

The female shiny appeared to have a short attention span. She darted about the room, sticking her nose into everything. She would stop to bat at another eevee's tail, only to be distracted by a shiny picture on the wall. The male shiny seemed overwhelmed by so many other pokemon. He sat in the middle of the group, tail tucked around his paws, looking a little lost and forlorn.

A couple of the normal colored eevees had started a game of follow the leader. One the males was in the lead, his head and tail held high as he showed of his perfectly groomed coat. He pranced around the room as two of the females followed him, giggling and bouncing as they went. Two of the other males were tousling while a third female stood as referee for their mock battle. The last male was hiding behind a plant in the corner, and the last female approached Kairi. She stood on her hind legs, paws braced against the girl's thigh, her tail wagging as she begged for attention.

[Kairi]

Kairi noticed how much energy the shiny female had,"Wow!" She said ingoring the normal female that was begging for attention,"What a challenge!" Before the Professor had time to say anything Kairi had called back all but the shiny female Eevee,"Wow! Your such a great Pokemon. My name is Kairi. Would you like to be partners Eevee?" She asked the female shiny Eevee as she put the other Eevees back up.

[Crazed Lapras]

The Professor let Kairi have her way with the pokemon. She seemed confident enough. While the girl was looking over the eevee she discreetly slipped away, returning a few moments later with a starter kit.
The female eevee didn't even notice when her friends went back into their pokeballs. But she did see Kairi, and instantly took a liking to her. She smiled at her, then noticed her shoelaces and promptly began to chew on them.
Professor Apple Blossem smiled. "I wish you luck with your new pokemon. You already know that I research pokemon. If you don't mind, if you come across any unique... legendary pokemon on your travels, I would welcome the news." She offered her the starter kit, as Kairi already had the eevee's pokeball.

[Kairi]

Kairi giggled when the Eevee chewed on her shoelaces,"Cute," she said,"How would you like a nickname? How about Shiva?" She asked. Shiva grinned and nodded getting excited. She loved her new name. Kairi put Shiva's PokeBall in her bag and took the Starter Kit from Professor Blossem,"Thanks. Don't worry I will. After all I am going to be a Breeder," She but the items in her bag and picked up Shiva who giggled, and she walked out.
