" Leon was chosen by Alexis as a starter Pokémon at Prof. Apple Blossom's Labs. He was shown to Alexis along with two other Totodile's, one that was a shiny and alot larger than normal Totodiles and the other which was normally coloured and normal sized. Both of the larger two decided they would try to take a bite out of Alexis' ears and legs.
Leon, being the runt, sat back away from the ruckus until Alexis came over to him and petted him, which was when Leon affectionately, and gently, nibbled her hand. It was instantly that she felt a connection with him and decided that he was the Pokémon to start her journey off as it wasn't colouration or strength that Alexis had been looking for, but personality and Leon definately fit her match. "
