Introduction and a few suggestions.

Hey, Everyone!

So, I just thought I'd make this thread to say hello
to everyone and that I cannot wait to possibly RP
with you all, and also to just make a few suggestions.

My name is Shannon but you can call me Biohazard or Bio. I live in England and I'm 14 years old. I absolutely love Resident Evil and Silent Hill so you can probably expect to see alot of RE and SH nicknamed Pokémon. xD

* - - - I have been RPing for 4-5 years and loved most of the Pokémon RP sites I have been a member of. I even made my own Poké RP but it was only my own work and it never really took off, so I'm planning to get back to work on it and advertising it sometime this Summer.

* - - - Also, I absolutely love how this site looks especially the skins. I have been using the Normal type skin for a while now, it's so cute and pretty you should definately have more like this. =3

* - - - I love making things look pretty and perfect and will take hours on end making things look right, so I'm sorry if you have to wait a while for a reply or whatever. xD And I'm also really sorry if I appear rude to anyone, I always apologise straight afterwards if I feel like I'm being rude or unjust, but incase I ever do not and I offend you in anyway, please don't hesitate to tell me off. xD It takes a helluva lot to piss me off, but if you do I probably won't stop ranting at you until I've cooled off or until one of us apologises.

Well, That's most about me. =D

A Few Suggestions.

Oh my goodness, I apologise for how long this is,
I just feel that Airore has so much to it and I want
to help out so much, but please, feel free to ignore
me here.

• Firstly, I think there should be a few more side boxes like one for the staff, quick links around the site, a music player, Members of the month e.t.c. I also feel like the site mascot shouldn't really have a box all to itself and maybe should be in the Airore box, but that's just me. =P And also, I think that the Latest News box should be updated, as it is past Christmas and it may confuse some people, e.g. Me. XD But that's just me being picky as usual.
  
  
• Secondly, I think we should have a Battledome type area where players enter a sort of contest in which they fight another member and the prize for winning could be money or a Rare/Legendary Pokémon? It could be that after a Pokémon has been knocked unconscious Judges vote on how well the attacks were performed which would give even the unconscious team a chance of winning.
  
  
• Thirdly, I'm not exactly sure whether or not this has been suggested but here goes. Breeder Farms. I know that there is a Breeding Center but this doesn't really give characters that want to be breeders a chance. So maybe, if there were Breeder Farms people who want to be Breeders can buy an area and then breed two or three eggs at a time without charge?
  
  
• Fourthly, Canon Characters? I think, seeing as this site has an amazing plot and backstory to it, that there should be a few Canon Characters up for grabs, butnot Pokémon Characters, I mean characters from other animes/mangas/games e.g. **Edward Elric from FMA.
  * - - - Then there could be a compulsary a story line that the characters follow and also a few minor character plots that the RPer of the character can decide whether or not they want to go down.
  * - - - Also, by doing this there could be a Face claim-kinda thing brought in so people don't get confused as to what anime/game/manga characters are taken.
  
  
• And Finally, I think there should be more contest-type-thingies. xD I've seen the one where it is part of a Pokémon sprite zoomed in and I think there should be more things like this to get more people in the forum involved and give more people a chance of getting Pokémon and money.

Well Hi, if we're going to the pleasantries I'm Ibrowmew, but you can just call me ibrow or mew (Mew is the most used.) I've been RPGing for 2 years now, one which was in another RPG site. I am one of the mods, on this site and hope you enjoy it for I have enjoyed it alot. I have been modding for a few months.

However if you want to make these improvements happen just PM the admin Birdy, or Birdybot. Also I'm not a huge fan of Twilight, so I would not exactly enjoy the fact of Edward on the site so much that I would try to stake him. Still this doesn't mean that he won't get on but I wouldn't like it. Still enjoy the site, even thought most members have gone leaving us mods here in the wasteland this place has become, we welcome you in with fresh posts and ideas, so don't be scared to ask questions, we don't bite.... hard.

I was actually thinking of Pm-ing a mod with my ideas but I was only expecting to write two or so ideas and seeing as it ended up so long, I wouldn't really want to send it in Pm's & I also wanted to know what other people thought of my ideas to and maybe adding to them and what-not.

Oh and when I said " I don't imagine Edward being a Pokémon trainer" I meant Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist, I probably should've made that a little more clear. And I'm not a big fan of Twilight and I hate hate hate Edward Cullen/Robert Pattinson.

I have been reading from my friends stach of them and have read from the first to the twentyfirst missing only one across the way, number ninteen. Just to let you know your not the only brit in this place, birdy is too, Other than that your our newest member, confetti rains down and everyone claps. As well i can't see ed playing a pokemon trainer he would kill anyone who called him short, making it kinda hard for him to train his pokemon.

Those suggestions sound cool. I haven't really got round to doing much cos of parents, but I have more free time now. Plus my graphicy skills have improved. I'll post an example when I'm not using my iPod to get on. I totally agree about the sidetables. Battledome sounds cool, but IDK how it'd work. As for contests, we used to have a monthly one, perhaps I could bring it back. How would breeder farms work?

And you can already play canons. I'll make a face claim list sometime.

Which of the months should we do? Member and charrie? There's only one couple at the moment; my two charries, so we couldn't do that.

Wow, that's great that we're both the same age as well! xD And I know I didn't really explain The Breeder Farms or The Battledome very well, because I knew it'd get waaay to long, so I tried to simplify it a little. But Here is the full thing explained, just tell me if you need anything explaining anymore. (:

* - - - As for the "... Of The Month" I think we could do RPer, Character, Thread and maybe when we get more members, Couple Of the month? And it'd be great if you could start up the monthly contests, it's a great way to get people on the forum together. (:

* - - - Also, I'm glad you're bringing in the Face Claiming system, I might just change my character to a Manga/Anime/Game character, if that's okay, if not then that's fine. xD I'll definately be making a new character sometime in the future, though. (:

Battle Dome Info:
The Battledome would basically be the same as the Pokémon Colosseum. But instead of it being a battle and whichever Pokémon team is beaten being eliminated from the contest two or three Judges would discuss how well each Pokémon and trainer perfomed and would give them a score out of 50 or whatever. Then whichever Pokémon got the highest score would win the contest, giving the unconscious Pokémon a chance to win.

* - - - The Battledome should have different tiers for the different leveled Pokémon so the first tier could have a really cute name and be for Pokémon's leveled between 10+ - 20, the next one could have a different name and be for levels 20+ - 30 and so on and so on. I was thinking that for the names of the Tiers they could be a kind of describing the Legendary Pokémon e.g. Keeper Of Time Tier Lvls 10+ - 20(Celebi. I think...) Creator Of Universes Tier Lvls 90+ - 100 (Arceus).

* - - - The characters would have to go through a sign up in which they choose a team name then, depending on how many characters, all the team names would be put into a draw and picked at random, but two at a time, so you would be pairing each trainer up for their first battle. So the little sign-up form could only be short and simple, something like (I'll use my character and her imaginary Pokémon for now. xD )

Name: Alexis Mallen.
Chosen Tier: Keeper of Time 10+ - 20
Team Name: Biological Hazard.
Chosen Pokémon:
* - - - Nickname - Totodile - Lvl 14
* - - - Nickname - Growlithe - Lvl 12
* - - - Nickname - Electrike - Lvl 18

* - - - And so baisically the battle/judging system would go something like this:
Trainer - Blazing Fire & Trainer - Slowly Sinking would battle first.
Team Slowly Sinking would win the battle!
The three Judges would give each Trainer a score out of 50.
Blazing Fire team got the most points (let's say BF got 136/150 while SS only got 100/150), so Blazing Fire would go on to battle in the next round.

* - - - And as I said before the prize could be a big cash prize or a Rare/Legendary Pokémon egg. (Which could possibly be decided by the Trainer?)

* - - - As a side note, I think people should be limited to 3 Pokémon so it doesn't take too long for each battle. But no Rare or Legendaries should be able to compete as the other team may be at a disadvantage.

I decided I'd separate the two explinations seeing as the Battledome one was so long. x-x; But the Breeder Farms should be much simpler.

*- - - On the Applications, I think there should be a place for the RPer to choose what class of Trainer they want their person to be, like for me I want Alexis to be a Breeder/Co-ordinator. But there are other classes too; Breeders, Co-ordinators, Ordinary Trainers, Gym Leaders and Rangers. The Rangers group are the ones who would go around protecting Airore from Team Chaos and would be split into three smaller groups; Trainees, Officers and Chiefs.

*- - - But, there aren't that many possibilities for each of these classes, you have the main one track to the Champion for the Ordinary Trainers, The Gyms for the Gym Leaders, The Contest Hall for the Co-ordinators and there is a Breeding Center but that is for the use of everyone and there isn't really much place for the Rangers and Breeders to make themselves known. For the Rangers, they could have a base set up in each town where each one can report to with information on Team Chaos every once in a while.

* - - - For Breeder Farms you could allow a Want-To-Be-Breeder, once they have enough money, to buy a Farm for not to highly priced, or not too cheaply. And on the Breeder Farms they could Breed as many Pokémon as they like free of charge and then they have the ability to put the eggs up for adoption, to trade them or to keep them. And after the Breeder has been breeding their Pokémon for a while, they could go up in ranks and get more well known throughout the Airore Region.

* - - - I think this is a good idea because then maybe some people could request to any of the breeders that they either want to breed two of their own Pokémon, Two of their Breeders Pokémon or just one of their own and one of the Breeders Pokémon for a price that was decided by the Breeder. Then from the eggs produced the person who requested the breeding can decide how many they want to keep but they must leave at least one for the Breeder, if they want. It will also give people a chance to make their team even better by taking attacks from the father, natures from the mother and so on and so on.(:

* - - - I also think that this is a good idea because it brings more variety to the site and could possibly attract more people in the future.

Oh my goodness, so much writing. I'm afraid I have an extremely bad case of short attention spans, so will have to attempt to read that later. Anyway, the of the months sound cool like that, we should encourage people to have character interactions so we can have the couples thing. As for the others, I'd have it so you nominate members and charries, then there's a vote between the nominees.

Yeah, it's fine if you go ahead and claim a face. I've done that for Connor but have yet to make the thread. I'm far too lazy...

Anyway, you seem good at graphicy stuff. I'm gonna make a skin and update the sidetables at the weekend, I'm a little bit busy this week since we have sport's day tomorrow, a school trip on Friday and the drama club has been forced into making an extra performance on Thurday (we did this 8-minute long Bugsy Malone thing in this show where loads of schools did stuff) at some school event thing. But yeah, the weekend.

I made the Mew skin ages ago, like in April or something. I've improved since then, and have examples!

Actually... to add one of my ideas into the mix... Rotom Racing! Get on a Rotom-possessed vehicle (like a go cart or something like that) and see how long you can control it without crashing (safely of course) into anything. I like that one! Maybe you can improve on it, Bio. :3 You seem to have a pretty good knack for ideas. Mine just suck. X3 And I'm rambling. I'll shut up now.

(: I'm glad you all like my ideas, I was just expecting to either get my ideas completely slated and be shunned or to just get a few Hello's. xD I'll try and figure something up for you Rotom Racing idea because I love it, it's very unique. =D This explination won't be as long as my other ones, thank God, because I won't /exactly/ know what Star wants for the races but here goes. xD

* - - - I was just wondering, how would you get TMs and HMs? Do you just find them on your journey or are they rewarded to you? Sorry if I may have read over this bit of info but yeahh I just needed to know. xD Also, where would you meet the Rare/Legendary Pokémon?

* - - - I know it's really not my place to say this buut I noticed that this site has quite a large amount of members, most of which aren't active anymore so I was thinking maybe holding an activity check and all those who don't reply get their accounts removed?

And there could also be one for the Forum like for competitions and Activity checks and stuff like that. xD

Rotom Racing!

Okay, so, for Rotom Racing you choose a go-kart or bike vehicle which is then possessed by a Rotom and contestants ride as far round on a track as they can without the Rotom forcing the Bike/kart into the walls or the rider falling off. (The Rotom possessed vehicle will be played by a member of staff Whoever gets around the track the furthest wins and will be sent into the next round.

*- - - At first you will be able to choose between Rotom's on the 50cc, 100cc and 150cc races. The differences being the Rotom's on the 50cc are easier to control and the 150cc are the most difficult to control. Then once a Rider has won they will proceed into the next round and there are three rounds to go through but you will keep the same Rotom and vehicle each time.

*- - - Whoever wins all three wins the Racing Ribbon for each of his/her on-hand Pokémon and wins the Rotom they were racing with, the level will be determined by the avaraged number of the level of your on hand Pokémon with a few more levels added on depending which cc you chose.

* - - - For example, say I entered the 150cc and had 3 level 30's, 1 level 50 and 1 level 15 I would add up all of the levels so I would have the sum 30 + 30 + 30 + 50 + 14 the end total would be 155, then I'd divide it by the amount of Pokémon so 155 / 5 the end result is 31. But seeing as I entered the highest cc I get an extra 5 levels so the Rotom I get would be at Level 34.

* - - - The extra level boosts that can be earned for each cc would be for the 50cc - 2 Levels, the 100cc - 3 levels and for the 150cc - 5 levels. But if you only have one Pokémon on hand then you get an extra level added on for your Rotom.

A character would sign up for the 100cc RR (Rotom Races ;P). They would make a decision out of three or so Rotoms and then choose a vehicle. Then, let's say, they won the three rounds. He would win the Rotom he had chosen at the start ( its level then by the method shown above ), they will earn a Racer Ribbon for each Pokémon. Although, after each time someone signs up for the races and either loses or wins, they will not be able to compete again for another 2 weeks or however long. xD

I am ALL FOR IT. Man, this is way better than what I could come up with! The only thing that I think is out of place (for lack of a better term) is the Ribbons. If it's only the Trainer and Rotom doing the racing, why would the Pokemon get the Ribbon? Maybe the Trainer's Pokemon could race Mow Rotoms. :3
