The Lickitung was about to smile when he saw his attack hit, but noticed that the Totadile used a scratch attack right after he hit him. He also noticed that he was going to hit the tongue and tried to move out of the way. However the attack hit the Lickitung's tongue, almost dead on scoring larger gashes in his tongue.

A Lickitung's tongue is it's most vurnable spot, and the fact that that the Lickitung's Defense stat was low even made it hurt more. The pain hitting the Lickitung like a wall of bricks. Causing the pokemon to go staggering back after the attack, also making him scream in pain.

The Lickitung after getting hit by this attack wasn't his best. However he was filled with rage at this attack, that puny shrimp would pay. Smiling he aimed a Supersonic at the Totadile then started to run up the pokemon to use Lick after the Supersonic attack hopefully hit. Even if it didn't hit he could do a bit of damage as a consolation prize.

Leon whimpered as the Supersonic attack hit him and began stumbling confusedly around, which fortunately saved him from another lick attack. "Good, Leon, now try to use scratch." Alexis said when she'd resorted back to chewing on her thumb's nail. She would've pulled Leon out of the battle by now and tried to flee but she was determined to catch this Lickitung, as it was the first Wild Pokémon she and Leon had come across, but it looked like he wasn't going to go down quickly.

Leon, being in the state that he was just ran directly towards the Lickitung and scratched him a few times, doing a slight bit of damage to himself in the process due to the confusion caused by the Supersonic then began stumbling and falling away in hopes of possibly getting a slight rest for a while to regain strength and lose the confusion that the Lickitung had placed on him.

The Lickitung laughed as he saw the Totodile stagger around and do some damage to himself when ne tried to attack him. The Lickitung looked at the Totodile and got ready to run at him. As soon as he reached him he redied his tounge to lick the pokemon, and deal some damage.
