{Wild}First{Pokemon}Encounter

Jamie saw the way the Professor had looked at her like she was glad she had picked the Squirtle over the others,"Not a bad choice if I do say so myself," Jamie grined from head to toe. The chosen Squirtle wasn't returned. And Jamie figured that was a good thing, since she could bond with Squirts this way, and Squirts seemed to be pretty happy to be outside. Jamie was then handed over the Water type's Pokéball, then given some starter's items as well. Professor AB then smiled at her,"There we go. You're all set to go on journey. Goodbye, and good luck!" she waved, wishing the new trainer the best of luck as it was time for Jamie to head out to Route One.

"Uh, thanks I guess," Jamie said,"Come on Squirts, let's go," she said. "Squirtle!" Squirts nodded as he followed Jamie outside. The two of them headed out to Route 1 to look for Pokemon. After all, if Jamie was going to avenge her mother, she needed strong Pokemon, right? She started looking around the bushes, trees and tall grass for wild Pokemon.

Not finding anything Jamie decided to have lunch first. She and Squirts sit down to eat. Jamie pulled out a coke to drink. It was a hot day, and the soda really hit the spot. The two then got up and cleaned there picnic area and looked around somemore.

"Hmm, a flying type Pokemon would be good. There normally found in trees," Jamie started climbing up a tree. When she found a nice stern branch she looked around to see what she could spot from this high up. "Squirtle squit!" Squirts warned from down below,"Don't worry, Squirts. I know what I'm doing," Jamie called down to him.

ooc// Squirts... real imaginative, lol XD Also, there's no point in doing much of that stuff, I randomise the Pokémon anyway.

ic// As Jamie and Squirts searched up a tree, they were missing a spot with their searching. That was right behind them. A Pokémon was cautiously moving about, trying not to get seen by them. It could see where they had left Jamie's bag on the ground, since she couldn't take that up a tree because it would stop her balance and add weight. The Pokémon starting snuffling through it, trying to find something of interest.

Ah! Something was here. Some sort of Pokémon food made by humans. The wild Pokémon grabbed the box of Pokéblock, tugging it as hard as it could. It was a little stuck, and the Pokémon was so driven by hunger it didn't think of moving the stuff around it. It made a tremendous noise as the box finally came loose. Oops. That was bound to be noticed. The Pokémon quickly scoffed a handful, filling its belly, before Jamie could turn around. If she did to investigate the huge racket coming from her bag, she would find a very startled, full Drowzee.

OOC: Cool, a rare Pokemon. Also, I never said she left her bag on the ground but oh, well. I'll do it your way.

Squirts who was still on the ground saw the Drowzee digging though Jamie's bag,"Squirt squirtle!" He screamed at the Drowzee shaking his fist at it. All the shouting made Jamie trip on the tree branch. She almost fell off. She turned around,"Ga lee, Squirts! You almost gave me a heart attack. Don't do that," She looked down and saw the Drowzee eating away at her Pokeblock she had worked so hard to make right before starting her journey,"Hey! My mother helped me make that Pokeblock, you good for nothing Pokemon!" She screamed at Drowzee.

Jamie jumped down from the tree, and ran up next to Squirts. She was glaring angrily at the Drowzee. Jamie was very mad at it and wasn't going to let it get away with it,"Grrrr! Squirts, teach that no good Drowzee a lesson! Tackle attack!" She ordered. Squirts nodded as he ran straight at Drowzee using Tackle.

IC// Drowzee eyes narrowed. Oh? Good for nothing, was it? Well, at least it didn't have a name as unimaginative as Squirts! Did the little baby need to keep the food from her mummy? Maybe she wouldn't be seeing her mum for a while or something. Whatever, it wasn't to know that. And now Squirts was attacking it. The Tackle caught it by surprise, and it snarled in anger and pain. The Drowzee was very angry by now, and not much would stop it from fighting back. It raced towards the turtle in a Pound attack.

The Tackle caught it by surprise, and it snarled in anger and pain.

Jamie saw that the Tackle had caught it by surprise. She ran and picked up her bag before the Drowzee could get into anymore of her stuff. She checked her beg. All her Pokeblock was gone! "Ahhh!" She screamed in anger,"Damn you Drowzee! Squirts! Tackle! Tackle! Tackle! Don't go easy on it. Let it feel pain over and over again!" Jamie screamed. "Squirtle!" Squirts screamed. He ran at the poor Drowzee, intending to cause it so much pain, it would wish it had never eaten all of Jamie's Pokeblock. Lucky, she still had the Poffins in her bag. Drowzee hadn't had a chance to eat the Poffins yet.

Drowzee raised an eyebrow at Jamie. He looked at Squirts, seeing he seemed just as overreacting as his trainer was. ~Arceus, your trainer doesn't half overreact, doesn't she? I only ate a bit of food 'cos I'd have starved to death otherwise. She's such a drama queen.~[/color] he told the Squirtle with great distaste, sidestepping the Tackle easily. The hypnosis Pokémon smiled that he had done so.

Drowzee felt that he was quite fed up with this trainer. Did all humans react like this to tiny things? The Psychic type hoped not, to be honest it made Jamie seem to him like a spoilt brat and a very annoying one with a terrible temper... almost like a three-year-old with tantrums in someone her age still. The Pokémon tutted, turning to Squirts while he was still close, aiming a calm and accurate Pound.[/size]

Jamie saw Drowzee raise it's eyebrow at her. He looked at Squirts and said,~Arceus, your trainer doesn't half overreact, doesn't she? I only ate a bit of food 'cos I'd have starved to death otherwise. She's such a drama queen.~ Squirts just as stuborn as Jamie just said,~You know, I really don't care.~

For that Squirts took a Pound attack. Squirts didn't really feel much damage from the attack,~You know that attack was kinda weak,~ Squirts said, acting stuck up,"Show that Drowzee a real attack! Squirts, Tackle!" Jamie called. Squirts built up power and ran at Drowzee on all fours using Tackle.

Drowzee chuckled softly to himself. Squirts didn't care that Jamie was a drama queen. If she were his trainer, he'd be concerned since that sort of thing could distract someone from doing well in the battle. The Psychic type understood why his move hadn't been as strong as he would have liked; Squirtle had high defense stats. Still, he matched even for attack and could take more hits than a Squirtle, making them come off pretty much even. The Tackle managed to hit this time, making the Pokémon wince a little.

Drowzee wished he knew a stat changing move. He knew Hypnosis, but he didn't think it would be too fair if he could attack and Squirts couldn't, and anyway that would be dull. He would save that for a last resort. The Pokémon took the oppertunity he had now the turtle Pokémon was so near, aiming a much harder Pound than last time at the Water type's head. It looked like it was going to hit, but if Squirts had Drowzee right in front of him he might be able to use that to his advantage. The Pound looked like a definate hit, and since it was aimed at a shelless area might do some damage.

Jamie saw the Drowzee laughing at her,"What are you laughing at!?" She screamed at it. Drowzee thought it was so funny but Jamie would show it a thing or two. It's laughing made Squirts mad as well,"Squirtle squirtle!" He threaten the Drowzee. What it said was,+How dare you act that way towards Jamie!+

When the Drowzee aimed a Pound at Squirts, he jumped out of the way, avoiding the Pound attack and jumping behind Drowzee. And then before Jamie could order another attack, Squirts attacked on his own, using another Tackle attack, on his own hoping to catch the Drowzee off guard since he was attacking from it's back side he hoped to make a critical hit.

The attack caught the Drowzee unprepared and did damage. The Drowzee slightly angered at the attack turned around and looked at the Squirtle in the eye. Then said <Ok brat I'll get you for that> then put his hands together. Getting ready for a Hypnosis attack. Smiling he said <This will show you not to mess with me!> then sent the waves at the Squirtle with a allmost perfect aim. Hoping for the Squirtle to fall into a deep sleep, leaving himself able to make him get all the damage on teh little brat.

Jamie saw Squirts' attack make contact. She hadn't even ordered him to do that, but it was a nice change of pace,<Ok brat I'll get you for that> Drowzee said using it's Hypnosis attack. Jamie didn't know what it was doing, since she had never seen a Hypnosis attack before,"What's it doing?" She said as she flipped open her Pokedex,"Hypnosis puts the target to sleep. Hypnosis can't affect a target that already has a major status ailment." The Pokedex told her,"Oh no! Squirts watch out!"

She knew that if Squirts got hit by the attack she'd lose the fight as Squirts was her only Pokemon. She didn't know if the rumors were true but she had heard that if a trainer lost a fight with a wild Pokemon they would black out and be teleported back to the last place they healed at, which in Jamie's place would be back at AB Labs. But she got an idea.

Deciding to do something unfair and mean to Drowzee she pulled out her hand mirror and threw it to Squirts,"Hold out the mirror in front of Drowzee quick!" She ordered. Squirts knowing what she meant held out the mirror in front of the attack so that Drowzee would just be putting itself to sleep if he didn't call off the Hypnosis attack.

The Drowzee saw the mirror that the little brat gave to her pokemon and smiled saying <Fool do you realize that sleep attacks don't work on Drowzee we have Ismonia!> then he released the attack which hit the mirror and bounced off hitting the Drowzee dead on. However nothing happened the Drowzee slightly seemed a bit dazed but noting else happened. Shaking the fuzzy felling from his head he looked at the little Squirtle muttering under his breath <Now lets see how much impact that mirror can take kid" and taking aim used pound on the glass.

"Squits throw the mirror away and use Tackle!" Jamie told him. Squirts threw the mirror back and Jamie caught it putting it up,"I wouldn't of did that if you hadn't decided to take the coward's way out!" She growled at Drowzee,"Now, if you do anything to put Squirts to sleep I'll have to fight you and believe me I'm no push over!" She said as Squirts ran at Drowzee's on coming Pound with Tackle. It seemed the two would hit each other dead on.
