Alexis - - - To the Park!

Alexis skipped merrily into the park, Leon and Sherry close on her heels. She was in a great mood that morning, and what better way to spend it than sitting and relaxing in a park with her Pokémon? The three walked over one of the benches that was facing the central, largest fountain. Leon jumped up onto Alexis’ lap happily but she had to help Sherry up because she was unable to make her way up on her own. Alexis had been eating a cereal bar on the way into the park and she knew that eventually she would have to share it between the two Pokémon, which she did without complaint.

Once Leon had eaten his fill, he leapt from the bench and ran to the fountain before jumping in, head first and playing around in the water. Sherry looked eager to go and join him but she looked hesitantly up to Alexis “You’re not going to leave us, are you Alexis?” Alexis sighed and then stroked Sherry’s shiny steel bill gently “Of course I’m not going to leave you here alone, Sherry. Now go and play with Leon I think he’s waiting for you.” She smiled kindly down to the paranoid platypus Pokémon.

Sherry seemed relieved and pipped twice happily before leaping off the bench and following Leon into the fountain. Alexis loved seeing the two getting along, it was so sweet and it also made her feel rather sad as she wasn’t able to join them properly in anything to do with water as she would risk causing her some damage. It was at times like these that she regretted choosing a water Pokémon for a starter but seeing how happy Leon and Sherry were with her, she wouldn’t give them up for anything.

Alexis sighed happily and leaned back in her seat, noticing quite a few Pokémon roaming around her she could tell they were wild, by the way they kept their distance from people, but they didn’t seem hostile or wanting to attack anything at all. She knew there wasn’t a wide variety of Pokémon wandering around but she had wanted to possibly befriend a Sentret or a Zigzagoon as the colouration of those two Pokémon, especially their shiny versions had held her interest greatly ever since she was a small child roaming around with the pack of Luxio’s, Luxray’s and Shinx.

She then, with lack of anything better to do, began rummaging through her bag. It contained a the few starter items the professor had given her, a few Visual items for the contests and a couple of cutely decorated pieces of paper that were good for writing notes and having certain Pokémon send them to specific people. Although, Alexis hadn’t really met anyone yet which kind of made her realise she was sat alone on the center of a bench, so she took out another cereal bar and began nibbling on that while watching her two Pokémon playing in the fountain. She was hoping that either another person would come and sit with her or a Pokémon would take interest in her so she could possibly befriend it. But for now she was sat alone eating a cereal bar watching her Pokémon enjoy themselves.

"Seriously? We can have ALL our Pokemon out? Even the ones in the PC?"

At the entrance, a blue-haired teenage girl (who was also a Swellow Pokemorph) stood talking to one of the greeters. A shiny Cavia was by her feet, and an Eevee was sitting on her head.

"Yep," the greeter said. "All of your Pokemon are allowed to come out and walk around with you in the park. If you've got Pokemon in your PC, you can withdraw them using the PC by the counter." The lady moved away to greet the next person coming in.

"Hmm. I don't think I have any Pokemon in my PC, but I might as well drop off some of my items,"[/color] Sora said.

Heading over towards the aforementioned machine, Sora quickly logged in. Deciding to check her Boxes (as she hadn't gotten around to redoing their layouts according to her OCDness), her eyes widened when she saw the four little Pokemon icons in the first Box.

<How do you think they got there?>[/color] Shiala, the Eevee, asked.

"I dunno, but it looks like we've got some new team members."[/color] Quickly Sora withdrew the four new Pokemon and, completely forgetting about putting some items into storage, headed out to the center of the park.

Upon arriving, she noticed a Luxio Pokemorph sitting on one of the benches facing the main fountain. Two Pokemon were swimming around; one was a Totodile, and the other was one Sora had never seen before. Its fur ((ooc// Does it have fur?)) shone in the sunlight; a shiny, then.

Suddenly nervous about interacting with another Pokemorph, she decided to release her Pokemon for, as she put it, "backup." Of course, Shiala the Eevee and Kana the Cavia were already out. Whirl the Poliwag and Masa the Trapinch followed, their Pokeballs having been in Sora's knapsack. Finally, the four new ones. Tossing all four into the air at once, she watched as the four Pokemon emerged.

One was a Zangoose, one of Sora's favorite Pokemon. She seemed somewhat standoffish, as if she didn't really like interacting with others, but was willing to try. The second was one of the Eevee evolutions Sora had heard about; the Airore-specific Draceon. He seemed like the laid-back, easygoing type, and nudged Shiala (who by now had jumped off of Sora's head) playfully.

The third was another Airore-specific Pokemon. Sora pulled out her Pokedex. It was a Frospup, an Ice and Dark type puppy Pokemon. However, this one appeared to be shiny. The little pup seemed to mimic the attitude of the Zangoose, appearing standoffish, but her personality seemed a little more... narcissistic, if you could put it that way.

The final one was an Absol. Sora almost fainted with joy at the sight of the Disaster Pokemon. He appeared to be the loner type, but loyal as well. He dipped his head to Sora in acceptance of his Trainer.

'Oh Arceus, now I have to think of names for these guys,'[/color] Sora thought, somewhat excitedly. She faced the Absol first. "How 'bout I call you Blade? Is that okay?"[/color] The newly-named Blade nodded, a ghost of a smile on his face. Turning to the Zangoose and the Frospup, she said, "I think I'll call you... Aria, and... um... how 'bout..."[/color]

<How about Night?>[/color] Shiala offered up. She had sat down next to the Draceon. The two seemed to have taken a liking to each other, though that wasn't too surprising, Sora thought, as they WERE both Eevee-related Pokemon.

The Frospup looked proud of her new name, and seemed to think even better of herself. 'Little narcissist...'[/color] Sora thought amusedly. The Zangoose merely shrugged, as if she didn't care one way or another.

As Sora turned to face the Draceon, Shiala piped up, <His name's Ryu. Apparently he's the only one of the bunch that was named in the first place.>[/color]

"Works for me; it's an awesome name,"[/color] Sora commented. Ryu chuckled.

<May I head to the fountain?>[/color] Whirl asked politely. Sora nodded, and the Poliwag bounced into the fountain.

"I'll let you guys mingle for a little bit while I go talk to that 'morph over there,"[/color] Sora said, a tone of nervousness in her voice. But she was looking forward to meeting another Pokemorph; she hadn't seen any since the Thieves' Guild. So she was going to at least TRY to get over her fear of embarrassing herself. With that, leaving her Pokemon to their own devices, she walked over to the Luxio Pokemorph (who was currently eating a cereal bar) and sat down.

"Um, hi, I'm Sora,"[/color] she said, already starting to get flustered, even though nothing had happened yet. "Uh, are those your Pokemon in the fountain?"[/color] She didn't quite know what to say next, and trailed off (leaving what Sora felt was one of those "awkward silence" moments).

((That was MUCH longer than I thought it'd be, considering my muse went AWOL recently. Hope it's okay if Sora stays for a while. She's kinda been sitting in the corner of my mind, collecting dust. X3 I FINALLY get a chance to get those Pokemon out of the PC! I've been looking for a (relatively) creative way to do that for AGES.

By the way... aaaaand I forgot what I was going to say. Crap. DX))

Alexis - - - To the Park!

Alexis was relieved when the Swellow Pokémorph came and sat beside her and smiled politely, setting the cereal bar she was eating down to one side "Yes, the Totodile and the Platt are mine." With lack of anything better to say she offered a hand out to the other 'morph and introduced herself "I'm Alexis Mallen and as I'm sure you can tell by my ears and tail, I'm a Luxio Pokémorph."

Once the Pokémorph sitting beside his owner caught Leon's eye he lept out of the fountain and ran as fast as he could over to Alexis, remembering to shake off any remaining water before he lept up onto her lap and nipped her chin gently as a greeting and soon enough Sherry was following Leon over and copied shaking herself off before Alexis picked her up to the bench again.

Leon's attention was automatically on the other 'morph and he began gently nudging her hands as a greeting while Sherry stayed sat in safety on Alexis' lap "Who is she?" Sherry pipped quietly "Alexis has got a new friend! Hi, I'm Leon!" Leon said rather loudly and after he just sat there snapping his jaws happily together as he would usually do.

"Well, go on you, aren't you going to introduce yourself too?" Alexis asked Sherry as she gently ran a finger down her bill which between the two of them meant that the other Pokémorph could be trusted. "I'm Sherry!" She exclaimed happily and a little more relaxed now.

((Well, I think my post was ridiculously long. X3 I haven't roleplayed with Sora in a while, and I'm kind of unused to it. Being gone for several months due to school can do that to you. -_-))

"Platt, huh? Think I'm gonna have to get me one of those,"

[/color] Sora said, smiling. She shook Alexis' hand, some of Sora's tension now gone. The Luxio morph seemed quite friendly.

Sora laughed as the Totodile leaped on his Trainer in greeting. The Platt followed, seeming more calm and quiet than the other Water type.

She smiled as she felt the Totodile nudge her hands.

<Who is she?> the Platt said quietly.

<Alexis has got a new friend! Hi, I'm Leon!> the Totodile said boisterously.

Sora laughed as the crocodile Pokemon began snapping his jaws happily. "It's nice to meet you, Leon."[/color]

"Well, go on you, aren't you going to introduce yourself too?" Alexis asked the Platt, running a finger down the Pokemon's shiny steel bill.

<I'm Sherry!> the dual-type Pokemon piped up.

<I'm Masa!>

Sora's Trapinch appeared out of nowhere, jumping on her lap and causing her to accidentally shriek in surprise.

"Masa! You little- how many times have I told you NOT to do that?"[/color] Sora exclaimed. "You scared the crap outta me!"[/color]

<That's what I'm here for, boss!>[/color] the Ground-type said snarkily.

"I told you not to call me that."[/color]

Shiala was close behind him. <Sorry, Sora. I tried to keep an eye on him. I figured he'd do something like this,>[/color] the Eevee apologized, following Masa into Sora's lap.

"It's okay; he just surprised me."[/color] She turned to Alexis and her Pokemon. "Well, you know Masa. This little Eevee is Shiala. She was my first Pokemon. Whirl over there-"[/color] -she pointed to the fountain- "-was my second. Kana, the shiny Cavia over there came next, and Masa here was the fourth. The others "magically" appeared in my PC."[/color]

Now that introductions had been made between the two Pokemorphs, Sora had begun to feel her tension slowly ease away, and was able to be more interactive.

<Yo, Sora! D'you have anything we could play ball with?>[/color] Sora's Draceon, Ryu, came striding up to the bench.

"Kickball? That's random. But yeah, I do, actually."[/color] The Swellow 'morph started rummaging around in her knapsack. She pulled out a medium-sized blue ball, one of those rubber, textured balls you usually see kids playing with at recess or in gym, and passed it to Ryu. "Kinda small for kickball, but it should do the trick. I take it you guys are playing too?"[/color] Sora asked Shiala and Masa. They both nodded eagerly. "Guess I'll join you, then."[/color] The three Pokemon headed off to where the others were getting ready for the game.

Before she got up, she turned to Alexis and asked her and her Pokemon, "Do any of you guys want to play?"[/color]
