occ/ I'm continuing my next thread on Drake, however since I haven't gotten the message saying I may go to the next route after a long time of waiting I'm going ahead anyway, hope you don't mind Drake looked around, seeing trees in almost every direction. "So this is route one, pretty plain its seems." Thinking to himself. The Squirtle in his backpack looked around as well slightly causally, almost voicing the same thoughts as his new trainer. However in the night sky the only thing visible was the moon and almost completely shrouded by the trees, making the moon look like it had been shredded in pieces. They had been walking for some time and hardly any discussion had occurred. Then Drake deciding to break up the silence said, "Hey Squirtle, I'm getting tired, lets stop and eat." The Squirtle agreed saying, <Yes I think that its almost getting too dark to see, I agree.> Drake reaching behind him pulled the Squirtle, from his bag and started walking towards the trees, seeing a clearing ahead. The Squirtle also followed. After a few minutes of gathering firewood, Drake made a fire. After searching through his bag he pulled out some bread, peanut butter and some jam, and made a 2 sandwiches, and handed one to Squirtle. The Squirtle took the sandwich and ate it quickly, Drake did the same. Then Drake also pulled out 2 apples handed one to the Squirtle snaking, "Do you want one? If you don't I'll eat it." The Squirtle nodded and answered <Sure I'll take it I'm still hungry.> and reached out his hand to take it.

The bushes next to them rustled for a moment, then released a small dark form that charged for the apple, reaching it just as Squirtle was about to grab it. It grabbed the red fruit, and tried to make its getaway, but ended up landing painfully on the ground. The firelight revealed its form.
The Minun was battered and bruised, as if a previous Trainer had abused it. He appeared distrustful of Drake and Squirtle, and glared at them through narrowed eyes as he struggled to stand, panting heavily as if he'd been running for a while. Minun placed his blue paws on the apple and tried to roll it away instead, but ended up collapsing from exhaustion.
((Short, I know, but that should be good for now. :3))

occ/ its ok I don't really mind
Drake looked in surprise at the Minum, not because of its entrance, or stealing the apple, but how bad of shape it was in. The fainting while rolling the apple that it had tried to steal, were sure signs of fatigue. Also the way it had looked at Drake as if it didn't trust him and the bruises on its back seemed from a bad trainer. Looking through his backpack, Drake found some water and poured it on the wounded and abused Minum to try to wake it up, for there wasn't much he could do about the bruises. If the Minum woke up he would try to feed it, to get rid of the fatigue and as soon as that was gone possibly try to take care of the bruises and any other injuries.
The pokemon center was a few days walk away, and even if he flew he couldn't possibly get there in time. Thought there was a lode of bruises they weren't fatal, even thought they must hurt alot. Hoping when the Minum got up it didn't reveal a wound worse than the bruises, or else he would have no choice, but to use a potion on it. He couldn't possibly fix up anything larger or worse than a small cut. He only had very few band aids, and a bit of sanitizer, meant for the hands.

The little Electric type shivered when the cool water washed over its thin, messy fur. <Where... where am I?> the Minun wondered aloud, groaning. Getting up on all fours, it (painfully) shook itself free of excess water and looked at the three things closest to it. One, fire. Two, Squirtle. Three... <H-human!> Minun's eyes widened and it growled at Drake, taking an unsteady step back. The mouse's tone turned accusatory. <Who are you? What do you want with me? Just leave me alone!> In a case like this, Minun normally would have taken the first chance he got for escape, but with his injuries, he knew he wouldn't get far before collapsing again. He'd wait to see what this human (albeit a strange-looking one for sure) would do before deciding his next move. [/blockquote] ((Blargh. -_-))

Drake's eyes closed and he shook his head slowly. Looking at the Minum, he said, "For your first question your in the Forrest's in route one, for your second question, I don't want anything from you. Also I'm not human, only part human, part pokemon, a Dragonite to be precise." and pointed at his tail to prove the point. Then reaching down, picked up the apple quickly, seeing the Minum wouldn't be able to flee. Pulling out a knife from his bag he cut up the apple into several pieces. Saying while he cut, "I can help you feel less tired if I can feed you something, but I can't make those bruises go away too easily, however do you have any other injuries that I could help with?" finishing the apple cutting and put away the knife, back into the bag, and bent down holding on to the apple slices holding his hand open for the pokemon to take the food.

<No,> Minun retorted stubbornly, in response to Drake's question. He took one of the apple pieces and ate it hungrily, not taking his eyes of of the Dragonite Pokemorph. Taking a second, he polished off that one in silence.
Then, with a grudging look on his face, he stood up on his hind paws and asked, <You seem to be okay... for a Dragonite morph...> Minun admitted. <Do you think... do you think you can help me out with somethin'?> Swallowing his pride (or the pride he thought he had, anyway), Minun plopped back down on the ground and continued, <Y'see... my sister... she's sick, and needs food. She was beat up more'n I was from our old Trainer... so I've been tryin' to get food for her. But there's a flock of Spearows in the area we've been staying in... and they beat me up every time I "attempt" to "steal" some of their food,> Minun explained grudgingly, as if it was hard for him to be so open about his problems. He eyed Drake warily and continued. <I give any food I find to her, but it's not enough... Can... can you... help us?> Minun asked, looking at Drake directly, small tears in the corners of his eyes. [/blockquote] ((Is it just me, or does this one seem kinda melodramatic? X3 Drake should have an interesting time dealing with this situation, that's for sure. ;D))

occ/ yep it seems a bit, "quiet" for pokemon, but the Spearows should hype it up a bit. (Yes I do believe that we will encounter at least one spearow.)
Drake scratched his head looking at the Minum. Then he asked, "I see what you mean, it must be very hard for you, eh?" then looked at Squirtle asking "I believe we should go, even thought there could be trouble. Seems as long as we don't run into these Spearows we should be fine, right?" Squirtle nodded agreeing with Drake saying, <I think so although we will probably need to keep alert, Spearows probably keep a grudge ,especially repeat offenders.>
Drake smiled, and clapped his hands together "So its agreed, as long as you show us which way to go we should be fine," He said looking at the Minum. Then Drake started looking through his backpack seeing how much food they had, just to make sure. Finding much more than they he could eat nodded and pulled out a flashlight.
After extinguishing the fire with a bit of sand and turning on the light Drake picked up the Minum putting him into the bag and stood up, putting the bag on his shoulders. Before the pokemon could say anything Drake said, "You don't look fit to walk, if you stay in the bag it should be easier for you." Then looking at his Squirtle said, "Well lets go Squirtle, I just hope we won't run into the Spearows, that would be an unpleasant experience," and made an uneasy sounding chuckle.
Squirtle, nodded getting up onto his feet and walked over to Drake. Turning his head back as far as it could go, Drake asked, "So which way do we go, to get to your sis?"

Minun made a sort of pained groan as he was picked up and put into the bag, but before he could object, the Dragonite 'morph said, "You don't look fit to walk. If you stay in the bag, it should be easier for you."
<Guess I can't argue with that logic,> Minun grudgingly agreed and settled himself so he was more comfortable. "Well, let's go, Squirtle. I just hope we won't run into the Spearows; that would be an unpleasant experience," Drake said to his Pokemon. Squirtle nodded and walked to Drake's side. "So which way do we go, to get to your sis?" the winged teen asked. From his lookout position in the backpack, the electric mouse replied, <Go that way a little bit.> He gestured with a furry paw. <Stop when you get to a dead tree, and put me down there. It's not much farther than that... I can manage it on my own,> Minun directed. [/blockquote] ((Nyeh! Short! DX It seems like I'm pretty museless right now.I want to get to the part I'm waiting for. >:3 Drake should have some fun... sometime in the next couple of posts. ))

occ/I'm so tired and want to go to sleep the tournament wore me out, but here we go. Also star if you want to mod bio, you can, I'm modding too many people anyway.
Drake nodded after the Minum told him what way to go, but frowned when he heard the Minum's request, to leave him there. But shrugged it off, what the Minum wanted he would do, hopefully the pokemon was well enough to get where he needed to go. Then Drake turned the way the Minum had pointed towards, and started walking in that direction.
After a while, and several thorns later, they came into a clearing, and seeing a old, dead tree, stopped. Drake walking to the tree, set the pokemom down and quickly took out a few apples, and some water encased in a canteen. Then remembering what the Minum wanted, started walking away back the way they had came.

Minun sighed in relief as he was set down. No sign of any of those blasted Spearows. Moving as quickly as he could, and with a quick <Thank you,> to Drake, he began rolling the apples into the hollowed tree, followed shortly by the canteen. Inside, on a bed of leaves, a tiny Plusle was resting. She looked sleepily up at her brother. <Hey, sis, I brought some food for you,> he said quietly, passing her an apple. The Plusle sat up slowly, revealing the bruises dotting her tiny form, along with a cut on her side. A wad of moss was currently stopping the bleeding, but Minun knew she needed help. Probably from that Dragonite kid, Drake. Outside, six pairs of eyes were watching the scene. Two pairs flew to the ground and walked into the log, while the other four went after Drake and Squirtle. Flying in front of him, their feathers ruffled up, the Spearows cawed, <What are you doing in our territory, helping that runt?>At the log, the one of the other two Flying types was roughly dragging out the pair of siblings, causing them to squeak in pain, while the other brought out the food Drake had set down. <Boss, look at all this food! That Trainer gave it to the two runts!> the second squawked, picking up an apple with its talons. The leader of the flock, a Spearow larger than the others with a small scar over one eye, nodded at him and returned his piercing gaze to Drake. <Let's make a deal,> he cawed, a crafty tone in his voice. <Give us all your food, and we'll let you and the rats leave without doing any damage.>[/blockquote]

Drake's eyes widened as the four Spearows flew in front of him, demanding for all of his food. Then turned around seeing two Spearows pulling out the Minum, he had helped, and apparently his sister, seeing the numerous wounds on her. Seeing as the pokemon had said how his sister had been hurt more than him by the trainer.
Turning back to the apparently leader of the Sparrows he consulted his options. He could do as the Spearow had wanted and keep both of the wounded pokemon ok. He could also not do what the Spearow did and not lose any of his food, which could be used to help the Plusle and Minum, recover but possibly cause them more harm. The final option was to run away, leaving the two Pokemon to suffer from the Spearows.
After figuring out what to do, Drake put his backpack on the ground, pulling out two apples. Then seeming to hang his head in defeat said, "Ok, ok, I agree to your terms here is some of the food I have." holding out the apples to the Spearows. However before they could even move close enough to grab them Drake threw both apples at the Spearows holding the brother and sister. Then whipped his bag on his back and sprinted at the two pokemon, his apples hitting both Spearows on the head. Hoping to grab up the two pokemon up and put them in his bag, then make a mad dash away from the Spearows.

((Sorry I couldn't reply sooner. I tried a couple days ago, but my dad booted me off the computer before I could, and didn't get a chance since then. D: Also, at the end of that last post you were kinda getting into mod mode.)) The two electric mice watched in pained silence as Drake set his bag on the ground and hung his head in defeat.
"Ok, ok, I agree to your terms here is some of the food I have," he said, holding out the two apples. The lead Spearow cawed in triumph, a greedy gleam in his eye. However, before he or any of his gang could snatch the food, Drake flung both apples at the two Spearows holding Plusle and Minun hostage. They spun through the air, hitting both Spearows squarely on the head with enough force to momentarily stun them.
Drake quickly whipped his bag on his back and sprinted towards the two Electric types, collecting them and the apples and placing them into his bag.
Plusle and Minun both squeaked when they were hastily picked up, but they didn't complain.
<Boys! After him!> the scarred Spearow commanded, taking flight and aiming for the Drake's bag. The others (the ones that could move, at least) followed shortly.
<Drake... trouble!> Minun moaned, looking back at the furious Flying types. Plusle squeaked as one of the apples bounced against her side. <You and those rats will pay big time for this, you brat!> the lead Spearow cawed in outrage. He was steadily getting closer to the bag, despite Drake's efforts at trying to get himself and the two injured Pokemon away. Knowing that he couldn't let the Spearows harm Drake (as Drake was his sister's only chance at survival), Minun took a drastic chance. He leaped out of Drake's bag, straight for the flock of Spearows, and gathered all his remaining energy into a Discharge attack. Of course, it was much weaker than what it would normally be, but it was enough to stun most of the Spearows. The two from before had woken up just in time to catch up and get caught in the blast. However, the attack wasn't strong enough to knock out all of them; the leader and one of his cronies still remained. Minun collapsed face-first onto the hard ground, out cold, his energy gone. <Brother!> the little Plusle squeaked in terror. Her brother had kept himself going with sheer willpower, but now that he was completely drained of energy, and unconscious, there was nothing he could do to defend himself from the advancing threat of the Spearows. [/blockquote]

occ/ya i know I was modding sorry. :]
Drake felt and could almost see the Minum jump out of his bag and stun all but the leader of the Spearows and one other. He also heard the Plusle shriek about something and had a bad idea about what it was about. Trying to do a u-turn to turn back around to see what happened, saw the Minum on the ground not making any movements, seeming to be OED.
He also saw the two Spearows closing in on the Minum, probably to try to do more damage to the pokemon. Knowing that the Plusle would be distraught to see her brother in more pain, pulled out a potion out of his backpack, careful to avoid the Plusle and instead sprayed it on the pokemon in his backpack saying as soon as the potion was out, "Squirtle, use tackle on the Spearows, and try to protect the Minum as well!"
The Squirtle didn't even nod his head, and started running at the Spearows intending to tackle one of the. Drake then said, "Plusle, if you can fight now do it, my Squirtle can't possibly hold off both Spearows, and your moves are super effective against flying types, so you could really make a change in this battle."

Plusle felt instant relief as the Potion came into contact. It wasn't quite enough to heal all the damage, but it was enough to give Plusle the energy to try to help.
But could she? She squeaked, trying to overcome her fear. That's the reason she had been beaten by her old Trainer in the first place; because she was too weak (or so he had claimed). She had let him down, and deserved to be punished for it. So their old Trainer had abandoned them in the middle of the forest.
Plusle was torn. She so dearly wanted to help her brother, but she was so afraid of letting him and this new Trainer down. And she didn't want to know what Drake would do to her if she failed to fight properly (she didn't quite know that most Trainers weren't as rotten as her old one).
"Squrtle, use Tackle on the Spearows, and try to protect the Minun as well!" Drake called.
Plusle peered out of the bag at the turtle Pokemon. He ran at one of the Spearows, landing a direct hit, his Tackle causing the bird to squawk in pain and be knocked to the ground. The bird instantly tried to retaliate with a Peck attack. But that one was the weakest of the group. The leader still had plenty of energy, matched with skill, to fight, and he was moving behind Squirtle, clearly planning something.
"Plusle, if you can fight now, do it. My Squirtle can't possibly hold off both Spearows, and your moves are super effective against Flying types. So you could really make a change in this battle," Drake said to Plusle.
<Oh... I want to help... oh brother...> Plusle murmured, distressed. Finally, she seemed to make up her mind, and jumped out of the bag. <I'm coming, brother!> Charging up her power, a second later she fired off a weak Shock Wave that struck the Spearow that had been Tackled by Squirtle, causing it to faint. However, the leader was left unscathed, and he quickly used a Leer, followed by a caw-like Growl to drop Squirtle's stats a bit. Hopefully the attacks would work, and he could be rid of this meddlesome Trainer, his blasted turtle, and those two pipsqueak rats. [/blockquote] (([/crap] Yeah, didn't really like this post. It seems... iffy, somehow. -shrug-))

The Squirtle saw the Spearow try to use peck attack and dodged it, the attack missing by inches. Then smiled as he saw the Spearow faint due to the Shockwave attack by the Plusle. Not noticing the Spearow creep from behind and lower his stats, but he felt it so he turned around giving the Spearow a confused look. Drake seeing this said, "Quick Squirtle use Tackle, don't leave your defences open." The Squirtle nodded and leaped at the Spearow attempting to knock it to the ground with his tackle attack.
