he complained. The boy felt a shudder run down his spine at the mention of Ho-oh- he felt that he was quite lucky to have the great legendary bird travelling with him for the time being, at least. He smiled at the Fire type puppy, opening his mouth to speak just as Ho-oh remarked, ~There's no need to whine, wimpy little pup. Call yourself a Fire type...~ he huffed, shuffling his feathers proudly.~Ruff! RUFF! RUUFF! AROOOOO-~
The howl the overexcited Growlithe just couldn't hold in any more was stopped short by a glare and a squawk from the albino Ho-oh. In between them, a boy who shared an unusual amount of his genes with said albino Ho-oh (and albino Ho-ohs everywhere, for that matter), rolled his eyes. He gave the Growlithe a pat and gently rubbed the white Ho-oh's feathers, before hearing the Growlithe talk in a whining voice. ~Connor, Ho-oh's being mean to meeee~
"Oh, for goodness' sake. You two, calm down, would you? We're in Sage Town, so Hinote is excited, but please don't howl like that. You'll attract unwanted attention. As for you, Ho-oh, just... er..." he attempted, social skills failing him. Usually he was fine with Pokémon, but there were some things which if you didn't know with people, you couldn't deal with in Pokémon. His dæmon- his soul in solid form from his home universe- uncurled on his hat, sighing. She was in her Pidgey form, white feathers remaining feathers since there were people around and changing would attract attention. Instead she fixed Ho-oh with a beady red eye. {Look, you've made your point; you're a rare legendary. So's Connor, but he isn't rubbing your face in it, is he? You should all just set things aside, OK? Try to behave...} she shook her head.
Ho-oh looked at Hinote, and the Growlithe looked back up at him. They both managed small apologetic smiles, before in unison their eyes flickered to Vivime the Pidgey-formed dæmon for just a second. The smiles became slightly mischevous.
Connor led the small group to the Pokémon Centre, where Ho-oh barely fit through the door, having to duck his great head. They made it through to the counter, no doubt earning themselves odd looks- a Ho-oh, shiny Growlithe, albino Pidgey and albino child didn't exactly go unnoticed, even if Connor could pass as a Pidgeot 'morph. He ignored any attention, simply placing his Pokéballs on the counter, Hinote leaping up too. "Er, hi. Could you please heal my Pokémon? Hinote doesn't like his Pokéball... oh, and Ho-oh doesn't have one, he's wild." He smiled nervously at Nurse Joy, Ho-oh nipping his shoulder and making him jump.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
