Connor had a smile on his face as he walked down Route Two. He had been smiling a lot since he had come to this universe, proof to him that this place was actually better than his past. The albino Ho-oh Pokémorph was travelling the route with his daemon, Vivime, Growlithe Hinote and a wild albino Ho-oh. His daemon was his soul in Pokémon form, and she had the ability to change shape at will. Vivime was presently a Poochyena, striding along playfully with Hinote and Ho-oh. She was in a good mood, but she could tell that her human was still feeling a little homesick, having not completely moved on from the other world. He missed it, despite it being so cruel to him. After all, he'd never see it again, and although this region had new oppertunities, he found it a little strange that no-one else had a daemon.
Ho-oh gave his trainer a playful bat with his beak that was as red as Connor's eyes, smiling. The young legendary was friendly with his trainer, and a glint of rebelliousness was in his eyes. The bat put Connor out of his daydream, and he grinned at the maginificent white bird. ~What do you say we try and find another trainer to battle? Like... from the air?~ Ho-oh suggested, a little hope in his voice. Connor chuckled. He didn't really feel he needed to catch any more Pokémon right now, so would be happy to try and find another trainer to fight. He took an excited Hinote in his arms, taking a running leap before extending his wings and rising into the sky. Vivime followed, changing into a little Tailow and darting around her human happily as Ho-oh rose to join them. They flew at about tree's height, Hinote bubbling with explosive delight and Connor pretty nervous. Would they find any trainers from this advanced viewing range?

Apparently there were trainers visible from this hight, well trainer. Who appeared to be sitting on the top of a tree sketching the pokemon who were flying by. She was absorbed in drawing a tallow who was fluttering just in front of her. However the tallow flew away and she looked up noticing the Ho-oh and Conner she immediately started sketching them. She was a pokemon trainer she had a few pokeballs on her belt, but she also had a backpack crammed full of art supplies. A large sketch book and a few markers were poking out of the backpack and every so often a marker would fall without her noticing to the floor below.

Connor spied the girl in the tree. Hm, an artist, eh? They generally had Pokémon. He looked nervously at Ho-oh, who seemed quite relaxed with her seeing them. He really hadn't got used to this world yet, the whole not-being-shunned thing. Well, unless the girl pulled out a gun or turned into a monster, he was all right. She hadn't. Ho-oh led his forwards, and he noticed that she had Pokéballs and was dropping markers. He swooped low, picking them up. He rose again, landing next to her and holding them out.
"You, er, sorta dropped these." he said awkwardly. Hinote the Growlithe yipped happily in a friendly greeting, tail wagging furiously. Vivime remained a Tailow, landing on her human's hat. Ho-oh tried to land, but the combined weight of the two trainers, Growlithe and himself were too much so he flew away again before he could do any damage. The bird chose to land in a different tree, one next to the tree Connor and the artist were in.

"Oh thanks," the girl said taking the markers which she used on her sketch book and after a while turned to look at the pokemorph and his Ho-oh. Noticing the pokeballs at his waist she quickly put the details into the picture. Then stuffing the markers into her bag, which none fell out of, turned to Conner showing the picture she drew. It showed him and the Ho-oh flying just above the clouds. Every detail was perfect and was shadowed perfectly. Smiling she ripped out the picture and held it out for Conner. Which then Twallow which was on her head sat on. Picking the twallow off she put him back on her head.

Connor was surprised that this girl was actually offering the picture of him and Ho-oh. Wow, that was rather interesting. Vivime, currently in the form of a Pichu, reached and took it, avoiding touching her since that would have been pretty much illegal from Connor's home universe. Connor then took it, placing it carefully into his backpack. He noted that she had Pokeballs at her belt. Did that perhaps mean she would fight him? "My name's Connor, and I've got some Pokemon with me. Wanna battle?" he asked.

The girl nodded saying, "Sure one sec," then noticing that she was on a limb didn't stand up, reached up into her backpack and pulled out a pokeball. Then looking at the Ho-oh asked, "Is the Ho-oh battling?" pausing "For I don't think my Twallow," Pointing to the bird on her head, "could actually stand a chance, he's only a Level 14." Then shrugging said, "But I don't really care anyway."

Connor smiled. "Of course I'd battle with something other than Ho-oh. I think it would be interesting to see how my Pokémon do up a tree, if they don't mind." he explained, thinking about which Pokémon to use. He could use Ika, but he didn't really fancy a type advantage. Hinote might be a good choice, but the Growlithe probably wouldn't to too well up a tree... maybe his Buizel, then. Yes, that would work; Mizuki was tough, speedy and agile.
He released the Water type, the shiny Buizel looking at him. ~You gonna tell me why we're up a tree?~ he asked bluntly. Connor smiled slightly. "We're gonna fight that girl and her Tailow, unless you don't wanna." he explained. Mizuki but his hands on his hips, a daring look on his face. ~Of course I'll do it! Easy!~ he said, the proud Pokémon trying to retain his image. Connor turned to the girl. "I guess you and Tailow can have the first move." he offered.

The girl smiled putting her stuff into her bag. After she was done she stood up, the Twallow on her head slightly rocking because of the motion. The girl shook off the Twallow causing it to start to fly. Then seeing the Buizel started to hover. The girl then said, "Twallow, use Tackle now!" Intending to see how well the Buizel wold do on the treetops.
The Twallow hearing this foucused of the Buizel, then started to fly up a bit getting ready for a dive. Then after a few yards dived at the Buizel. With his body like a bullet. Going beak first, with a good aim.

ooc// Mew, you're being extremely confusing here. See, there's no such Pokémon as a Twallow. At first I thought you meant Taillow, a Hoenn Flying type, but just now you said it used a Tackle. Taillows can't use Tackle. Do you even look your Pokémon up? If I were you, I would, because that way you won't make this sort of mistake too much.
Click here for Taillow's page on Serebii. Serebii's a useful website for Pokémon level-up moves and so on, I use it to check every single time I battle, whether I'm modding someone or being modded.
Just out of interest, is it Taillow you meant? Or did you mean something else, and if so show me a picture/description? Taillow;
Kay thanks, just getting majorly confuzzled here.

occ/ Sorry but when I was using the fourm I was in a hurry but here is the edited version i have a pokedex book that has all the pokemon from the first pokemon game to the Pearl and Diamond game Sorry The girl smiled putting her stuff into her bag. After she was done she stood up, the Twallow on her head slightly rocking because of the motion. Then girl shook off the Taillow causing it to start to fly off of her hat. Then seeing the Buizel the bird started to hover. Nodding the girl then said, "Twallow, use Peck now!" Intending to see how well the Buizel would be able to maneuver on the treetops. The Twallow hearing this foucused of the Buizel, then started to fly up a bit getting ready for a dive. Then after a few yards dived at the Buizel. With his body like a bullet. Going beak first, with a fairly good aim the water type on the tree.

Mizuki watched as Taillow began to move in for an attack. He knew that he was fast, but that bird was pretty fast too. The shiny attempted to dodge, but wasn't used to moving around on the tree and found himself hit by the Peck, gasping in shock as he quickly grasped the branch firmly as he felt himself slip, saving himself before he could fall. Connor could see that that hadn't been a good start, but they could make up for it with a move of their own, right? The albino knew that a lot of his Pokemon's moves were physical and so meant that tricky moving around, but one wasn't. "Mizuki, Water Gun!"
Watching the Taillow battle, Mizuki could see that the Flying type clearly had the advantage. With his wings, there was no danger of him falling off a branch, while the Buizel was quite restricted for movement, especially since his kind were in no way designed to climb trees. If they had been in water, on the other hand... Anyway, his Water Gun was needed. It was a good choice to use before he got his footing, and was a strongish move too. ~Don't get too smug, bird.~ he snarled, releasing a powerful and accurate jet of water from his jaws.[/blockquote]

The Taillow smiled seeing that the attack had hit and the hasty Buizel had a bit of trouble up in the treetops. However the Taillow's slight gloat had caused him a bit of a distraction on his part and didn't see the Watergun attack coming his way. However as soon as the Taillow stopped gloating their was no time to dodge so the attack hit home causing the Taillow to fall a bit then as he pulled himself together start hovering again.
The girl seeing this nodded the said, "Taillow use Quick attack!" The bird hearing this took a careful aim on the Buizel then used the attack propelling himself forward with great speed hoping to hit the water type off the tree.

ooc// By the way, Buizel do this in the episodes.
Ic// Mizuki saw the attack coming but there really wasn't anything he could do about it. He did try, running and making a leap to stand on another branch, but wasn't enough. The full force of the Quick Attack hit him in the stomach, making him fall from the branch after a painful hit. Connor gasped. How was he supposed to get out of that one? Then he remembered seeing or hearing something somwhere that if a Buizel whirled their tails, they could fly a very small amount, a bit like an underpowered helecopter. "Mizuki, spin your tails to recover and try a Pursuit!" he called.
Er, what? Mizuki didn't really see how that could work, but it was his only hope now so he might as well try. Spinning his tails, the shiny Buizel found his fall slowing before finally stopping and he began to rise up. A determined smile on his face, he lined up Taillow so when the attack was over he would be able to land on a branch with no help from his tails. Mizuki began his Pursuit attack, which seemed strong but slow.

occ/I'm fine with that although I've only seen it happen underwater
The bird pokemon gloated a bit but learning from last time didn't gloat too long and was able to see the attack coming. Since the attack was slow. The Taillow tried to dodge it but again too much time was waisted and the attack hit home causing the pokemon to wince in pain.
The girl seeing the Buizel using its tails to float thought it was quite weird but shrugged it off not really caring too much. However seeing her Taillow be in pain caused her grief but not too much seeing that the Taillow was still doing ok after the attack. After the Taillow recovered however only being a few seconds. The trainer said, "Taillow show that Buizel what we've got give it another Peck attack!"
The Taillow hearing this nodded and got ready for another attack by rising up in the air until it had gotten high enough then taking aim at the pokemon dived downward. And in almost a afterthought the trainer said, "Oh, Taillow don't waste time gloating again if this works!"

Mizuki was very proud of himself as his feet touched down on the branch after having sucessfully hit the Taillow. Brilliant! Connor could see the Peck coming, and smiled. He could see an oppertunity here. "Mizuki, grab onto the branch with your forepaws, let the attack hit you then use the momentum to swing you under the tree and back up again for a Quick Attack." he said calmly and thoughtfully, using his initiative and good mind for quick thinking and tactics.
The shiny Buizel had to admit, he was impressed that his trainer could come up with something that clever so quickly after the Taillow had begun the attack. He had to act quickly, though! The Water type weasel grasped the branch loosely, enough to allow movement but not falling off. When the Peck hit, he felt the breath leave his body from the pain, but the force and angle were enough to send him under the branch like Connor had said. He didn't look down, looking up instead as he used his body weight to boost the momentum, letting go at the highest point and swinging himself incredibly quickly towards Taillow in a Quick Attack. It was a daring but powerful, fast and accurate move, since he was swinging right back up to where the attack had just been dealt and shooting off past it from letting go.
