ooc// Really? It's still not that long. Try and put thoughts and feeling, and describe things more. It's not that hard; descriping someone's confusion counts. Also, Birdy preferrs short posts to insanely inacturate ones. Seriously, people don't go "Hey, a funny voice. It must be Shaymin!"

ic// The winds slowed, the scent growing weaker. It was, indeed, Shaymin that had been approaching. She had known that Munchlax's child was ill, and had come to save it's life, but the Grass type had seen light in Kairi. However, if the girl recognised her... next to no-one had ever heard this Shaymin's voice, and she had never met Kairi before, that was for sure. That was a warning to the Pokémon. When you are as rare as a Shaymin, or any other legendary for that matter, you need to be on constant alert for bad people. Shaymin had learned to be suspicious of everyone and everything, and she carefully went through every word a human uttered near her.

+How do I know you're telling the truth, child? You recognized me. Team Chaos have set you against me, have they not? Set you out to find me and capture me like my family, otherwise you would not have recognized me. I see through your desguise.+[/i][/color] she said, still lingering, however. She wanted to help Munchlax still, after all.[/size]

"This is how," Kairi says holding up her Pokedex and looking up Shaymin in it. It showed a picture of Shaymin in the Pokedex and had information on it. Kairi pressed a voice buttom and the Pokedex said,"Shaymin," in Shaymin's voice. "But you don't have to help if you don't want to. I'll just have to save this Shaymin myself," She returned her Pokemon to there PokeBalls,"Munchlax I'm going to find those berries and save your child. But if I leave it here something may happen to it," Kairi informed.

She got ready to start walking away,"Oh, and if you must know. I do know about Team Chaos, but I'm against them. I'm one of the ones fighting them. You can believe me or not. All I care about is saving this Munchlax right now. Good-bye Shaymin," Kairi sighed as she got ready to walk away to search for the berries.

Shaymin took in these words. She could sense an essence in truth of this speech; after all, Kairi was being honest and was still trying to help Munchlax, and she had calmly said goodbye without even searching desperately for the rare Pokémon. These were all more of the subtle signs Shaymin was looking for. As Kairi turned to forage for berries, the scent came stronger than ever. +That voice sounds like one of my colony... never took enough care around humans, he didn't. That's probably how they got that recording. Anyway, child, I can tell you speak the truth now. You were honest to admit where you knew my voice from, and you did not chase after me. I am afraid that no berry will save Munchlax.. but I can. I must show myself to you, but please keep in mind that although I am not common, I am no stronger than an ordinary Pokémon.+[/i][/color] she said through the wind, giving her the final detail which many Grunts had discovered the hard way.

The scent disappear altogether as a form took shape in front of Munchlax, facing Kairi from a few paces away. Since female legendaries are shinies, this Shaymin was a shiny. She looked at Kairi, nodding, before turning to the Munchlax. She nodded again, as though she wanted Kairi to help. She poked her snout at Muchlax's head; she wanted Kairi to mop the sweat from it to keep the Pokémon comfortable and help it's systems get back to normal. Meanwhile, Azurill looked quite queasy. Was it possible that this Pokémon, too, had caught the virus in that short space of time? Shaymin glanced at the Water type. Perhaps Azurill should travel away. And perhaps Shaymin should go with it, to make sure it was all right... wait, Munchlax. Concentrate on Munchlax for now.[/size]

As Kairi turned to look for berries she heard something very far away and Shaymin said,+That voice sounds like one of my colony... never took enough care around humans, he didn't. Kairi was kinda surprised to hear that. Her Pokedex had told her that Shaymin's a legendary Pokemon. When Shaymin appeared before her, Kairi was surprised. This Shaymin was a different color then the one in the Pokedex. The one in the Pokedex was a light green. But this Shaymin was a blue green color. Quite shocking really.

Shaymin looked towards Kairi before turning to the baby Munchlax and nodding. She then turned to Kairi nodding. Kairi figured that was a sign to approch her. Which she did. Shaymin had then poked her snout at Muchlax's head. Kairi nodded and used a wet washcolh to mop the sweat from the baby Munchlax keeping the Pokémon comfortable and helping it's systems get back to normal.

Just then Kairi noticed the little Azurill didn't look too good. Maybe it was getting sick as well. As a mater of fact Kairi was starting to feel a bit dizzy and light headed. Maybe this virus was something that humans could catch as well,'Have to help the Munchlax and Azurill first then I'll worry about myself later,' Kairi figured as she held onto the baby Munchlax tightly. beads of sweat was starting to run down the girl's face. She sure didn't look good at all.

The hedgehog was surprised that Kairi was surprised when she'd said that she was no stronger than an ordinary Pokémon. Well, what did she expect? True, they had special abilities, but they weren't stronger. These tales of legends had been of the original legends, the greatest, strongest Pokémon who had shaped the universe. Of course, that kind of power could only be achieved of a legendary at level 100 or possibly even only of those ancient ones who had shaped the universe. No matter. Munchlax, she had to remember. Munchlax.

Shaymin now looked worried for Kairi as well as Azurill. The girl seemed to be the sort who would be prone to catching illnesses, poor thing. Was it possible that she'd get this one? Shaymin had thought it to be a Pokémon only thing. Well, she supposed that Kairi was fit to continue, since that was what she was doing. While Kairi and Shaymin worked, Munchlax's expression was no longer in pain. He sat up, but this seemed to be a great effort. He was weak, but he was cured.

Meanwhile, Azurill fell unconcious. Shaymin looked worried. The illness would make Kairi feel illl, hot an dizzy, but not more than that; it was much worse in Pokémon than in humans, and it seemed that Azurill had got more than it's share of it. Munchlax thanked them and hurried off. The instant they were gone, a few Pokémon grabbed their food back.

Shaymin looked to Kairi. OK, maybe she dared do this. It was a dangerous move, but it had to be made. +Girl, I think I shall travel with you. You must catch the Azurill, and I will come with you until he is cured... possibly longer. I refuse a Pokéball, but I will walk at your side and do as you wish, and fight for you. Do you accept?+[/i][/color] she asked. She was doing it for Azurill, but a small part of her had taken a liking to Kairi.[/size]

[Kairi]

Kairi and Shaymin had healed the Munchlax. The mother thanked Kairi and it with it's baby and the other Munchlax left. At once Kairi noticed all the Pokemon getting there food back. She waited to see if the little Azurill would do the same but instead it fainted.

"Azurill!" Kairi screamed running very weakly to the mouse Pokemon's side. Kairi turned when she heard Shaymin speak once more,+Girl, I think I shall travel with you. You must catch the Azurill, and I will come with you until he is cured... possibly longer. I refuse a Pokéball, but I will walk at your side and do as you wish, and fight for you. Do you accept?+

Kairi grinned. Of course she would accept the offer. Even though this meant that Shaymin wouldn't be one of her own Pokemon. It would just be a travel capanion for now. Kairi had never been interested in catching Shaymin anyway, she just wanted to be her friend. As she believed legendary Pokemon shouldn't fight battles but just be friends with humans.

"Sure, I'd love to have you travel with me Shaymin," Kairi grinned at the Pokemon. This would be fun to have such a cute Pokemon with her. Plus, as Kairi knew Shaymin had two forms. She liked it's land form best. Oh! The Azurill! Kairi just remembered about the mouse type. She still had to catch it so it would be teleported to Professor Apple Blossom's lab and she could cure it. Kairi pulled out a PokeBall and threw it at the weaken water mouse.(Uh, what form is Shaymin in right now?)

ic// The Pokéball absorbed Azurill inside it's red and white plastic depths, the fainted Pokémon unable to put up much of a struggle. Normally, a fainted Pokémon would, once inside, arouse to give it a chance to escape. However, this Azurill was ill, very ill. He couldn't fight in this condition, and it wasn't before long that the Pokéball twitched, then, after a few seconds, the red light on the button disappeared, the device giving off a soft pinging sound to indicate that Azuril was caught.

Shaymin, meanwhile, moved over to her companion. The Grass type took in the events that had just taken place. Phew... this had been some day. Well, hopefully Kairi wouldn't prove too much trouble against her, and she'd be able to remain happy while following the trainer.

You caught an Azurill! You may control Shaymin like I do Suicune, and fight using her, but she isn't any better in battle than an ordinary Pokémon, and does not count as one of your party. I'm allowed to play as he for events, for example when it's time to be caught/leave.
