Looking at the race track Asher turned and looked at Pulse who was in his backpack and said, "Well looks like we finally found the racetrack, now lets sign up for a race," then remembered that Skitty also wanted to race. So he took off the pokeball that that held Skitty and opened it, releasing Skitty. Looking around Skitty first noticed Asher then Pulse who was watching Skitty. Skitty asked, <Whois that on your backpack Asher?> Answering Asher said, "Pulse, I found some pokeballs that I knew I didn't buy and he was in one of them the other was a Magby. Looking at Asher Skitty asked, <Well if they are new why don't you let them meet the rest of your pokemon?> Nodding Asher and released all of his other pokemon.
Almost instantly all the pokemon noticed Pulse who was on Ashers backpack and Magby who was released with them. After a few seconds Asher introduced Magby and Pulse then asked who wanted to race. Shadow, Skitty, Murkrow, and Pulse all wanted to race so after putting all the pokemon back who didn't wan't to race in their pokeballs. Asher walked up to the booth in front of the racecourse. As soon as he got there he asked then man in the booth, "Can I sign up for a team race, I don't know that a race is going to go today but can I sign up to race my Murkrow, Umbreon, Skitty, and my Plusle?"

The man nodded, looking at Asher's four Pokémon. A Murkrow, Umbreon, Skitty and Plusle. Interesting choices. He wasn't sure if they would all manage to keep up with one another, but it was the trainer's choice, after all. He looked about for some papers Asher needed to sign, as well as a schedule so he could select which race he wanted to be in. Eventually he found them all, and showed them to the trainer.
"Right, so, team racing is when a team work against another team, two-on-two. They must be fixed to a cart containing the trainer. Don't worry, this is easy for them since the cart is specially designed to be light, streamlined and easy to pull. With four of them pulling, they'll barely notice a difference. Right, sign here- and here. Then select which race you'll be doing by ticking this box." the man explained, pointing at the places Asher needed to sign. The races were for different times against different teams. Which would Asher pick? What time would his race be and against which team?

Asher looking at the papers decided what team he was going to go against and was about to start writing when he figured out that he didn't have a pen. After looking around the counter he found a pen on an string and signed. Next he checked the team race against team fire and handed the papers to the teller and asked, "Do I need to pay for anything?"

The man looked at the papers Asher had just marked, nodding slowly as he double-checked that he'd done everything right. Then Asher asked if he needed to pay. Oh! It was a good thing he had, or else he would have forgotten! "Oh! Right, yes! It costs $1,000 to enter a race." he informed the 'morph, taking the money from him and smiling. "OK, see you tomorrow! Enjoy the town until then!" he said, waving.

Asher finding after finding a good low budget restraunt and eating went out to find a hotel. After looking around for a while he found a hotel that allowed pokemon in some rooms and had vacancy. Going up to the front desk he approached the teller at the front desk and asked, "Do you have a non-smoking room that allow pokemon, for if you do I would like to stay for the night."

The woman frowned. Ah, a trainer, was he? They often came here. She personally thought they would get so much more money in if they allowed them here, but they didn't. She smiled apologetically. "Sorry, we don't allow Pokémon anywhere in the hotel; manager always thinks it'll disturb the guests. Try the Pokémon Centre; they have free accomodation since they know trainers don't always have much money." she advised Asher. She seemed nice enough. She stopped Asher before he could go, and pressed a Potion into his hand. "Here, take this for your time." she winked.

occ/sorry about the shot post I want to watch a lot of youtube for some reason
"Thanks," said Asher and walked out of the hotel and started towards the Pokemon Center. After he had gotten there, since there wasn't much people there he quickly got to the front desk. Looking at Nurse Joy he asked, "Can I stay here for the night and if I can where do I sleep?"

Nurse Joy nodded. Ah, trainers. This one was definately pretty new to training, since he didn't know for sure whether he would be welcomed into the Pokémon Centre. Still, she could very easily explain. "Of course. It's absolutely free, and you and all your Pokémon can stay. Here's the key, now just sign here so we know who's staying where and go up the stairs to your room." she said warmly, poking a place in a guest book with a pen, passing a set of keys marked 'Room 12' and nodding pointedly towards a staircase.

occ/have you seen the new 5th gen pokemon yet?
After signing the guest book Asher thanked Nurse Joy, took the key, put it in his pocket, and hurried up the staircase. After he got to his room #12 he took the key out of his pocket, put it in the lock, turned it, and opened the door. After walking in the he looked around, the room was actually a bit large and was furnished with a bed, a table, and a lamp. After plopping down on the bed Asher opened his backpack and pulled out his belt, which he only wore when he need too for he thought it was a bit too unconfertable to wear all of the time. taking the pokeballs off of it he opened each one except the one that housed Skunky, for he was a bit too big of a bully and besides he smelled.
After coming out all of Asher's pokemon asked questions such as, where they in a hotel and did the race already finish. Asher answered, "They weren't in a hotel and the race hasn't started yet. It will start in the mourning, but not now, so lets get some sleep." After changing his clothes he got into the bed then turned out the lights.

ooc// You betcha! Also sorry it's short, not much to write about.
ic// Asher and his Pokémon's sleep was deep and peaceful in their soft, proper beds. It must be nice for them to be sleeping in actual beds after a while of tents and sleeping bags. After several hours, light began to creep over the horizon. Eventually, the sun managed to climb higher and shone through the curtains despite being veiled in clouds. It might be cold and a little damp, but those were perfect running conditions. It was morning, the morning of the race. The smell of a lovely cooked breakfast drifted up the stairs- well, you can't race on an empty stomach, can you? Downstairs was a small café, with cereal and fruit- bananas are supposed to be excellent before running.

occ/ thanks!
Asher woke up and smelling the bananas opened his eyes. For once in his life he had slept comfortably and had a deep sleep. Sitting up in the bed he stretched and shook his head after blinking for a while he got up and picked up his bag and went to the bathroom. After coming out with his day clothes on he put on his backpack and woke up all of his pokemon telling them that it was mourning and time to eat breakfast.
After all of his pokemon had eaten breakfast provided by Nurse Joy he checked out at the front desk and got all of his stuff. Finding the track was easy because Asher had just gone there not too long ago. As soon as Asher got to the track he went to the front desk and told the person at the desk (who was a different person than the on he had seen yesterday) he registered yesterday for a race and where should he go to get ready?

The person at the counter checked a few of the things Asher had signed the previous day, then jabbed a finger in the direction of the starting line. There was a cart with four harnesses already attatched for Asher to use, but he might want to warm his Pokémon up like what Allison was doing with her team Fire. Ember the Vulpix was flexing her muscles, jumping from one side to the other. Tommy the shiny Growlithe was practicing turning with Willow the Houndour, and Alexa the Flareon was streching.
The other team looked fast, but then again, they were professionals. This would be a challenge, of course. After all, if it wasn't, they wouldn't offer such a good prize. Not all trainers would win, of course, and Asher needed to keep that in mind so that if he lost, he wouldn't get too frustrated or anything. Well, he had some time to kill before the race, and he'd best spend it wisely.

"Well," thought Asher, "This should be interesting," Turning to his pokemon he said, "Well lets get ready, Murkrow why don't you stretch your wings, Shadow, Pulse, and Skitty why don't you warm up too. After stretching Asher quickly put everyone in their harnesses. After putting everyone in their harnesses Asher climbed into the cart stretching to get in after getting in he remembered his backpack and got out and put it on a hook that was on one of the walls after getting back in the looked at his team and said, "Lets do our best, ok," Turning to him all of Asher's Pokemon nodded and the doors to the race track opened and pulling the cart the pokemon went through and saw a large crowd all waving banners.

ooc// Wowzers, that was a long last sentence. Also, I am poking Sulteron's route three thread.
ic// The crowd cheered; the people of Sage Town loved race days. Not too long ago they'd seen another 'morph from the Eevee chain race with her Suicune, which had proved an exciting race. They hoped that since Asher was also a 'morph from the Eevee chain, he would give an exciting race too. What an interesting bunch of Pokémon he had! A Murkrow, Umbreon, Plusle and Skitty. They weren't exactly the fastest of Pokémon, so Asher would need luck on his side to win this.
The opposing team was already waiting at the starting line. Allison smiled at Asher. Her specially trained team of high speed stat weilding Pokémon would be hard to beat, but she was a nice girl and wasn't pointing that out or anything. The man standing there blew a piercing shriek from his whistle, and the race began. Allison's team Fire shot out. Yikes, they were fast. A cheer rose from the crowd.

occ/rolls up sleeves time to get to work on this thing it has been inactive too longggg.
Asher's team pulled as much as they could setting the cart in motion and started to speed up. Making so there was less air resistance Asher crouched and made his ears go back causing the team less effort to move the cart. Team fire was still pretty far ahead, about 20m or so and was still pulling away. Seeing the other team getting away Asher's team started to speed up, nearing the first turn.
As they turned with all their might to get the turn the cart tipped on two wheels. Causing Asher to shift his weight to the other side causing the cart to go on both wheels again as they cleared the turn starting to close the gap on the other team.
