ic// Hang one... Amnesia then Defense Curl? 'rushed at Buizel' for Defense Curl? I take it you mean Tackle... It makes more sense that way, but I'm happy to edit if I'm wrong.
ooc// Mizuki watched as Munch-Munch raised his special defense. So, he'd take a fair bit less damage from attacks now, it seemed. That wasn't so good for the weasel's chances in battle, but he'd pull through all the same. His trainer was a survivor, he knew. Connor would be able to find a way! Mizuki managed to dodge the Tackle, but all the same was unsure about whether or not he'd be able to keep in the battle much longer; a Munchlax's weight made them deal strong attacks. Connor could see that Munch-Munch's defense was raised, and reacted. "Use a Sonicboom, please!" he called.
A Sonicboom! Yes, that seemed wise. Mizuki knew that a Sonicboom would always deal the same amount of damage regardless of type, level and stats. That made it perfect for situations like this, for it meant Munch-Munch's raised defenses counted for nothing. The Buizel smiled as he swung his twin tails, sending a strong wave of energy zipping quickly and accurately towards his chubby and possibly metal opponent.

occ/ oops, but its ok i fixed it
The Munchlax almost dodged the the Sonic Boom by somersaulting out of the way, however most of the Sonic Boom hit him sending him flying and made him impact on the ground. Getting up the Munchlax thought <Ill get that Buizel for that> getting up he rushed at the Buizel even before his master could tell him what to do. The Munchlax was running way faster than any usealal Munchlax could run aimed right for the Buizel trying to hit him with the Tackle attack.

Mizuki watched as Munch-Munch headed for him. He'd seen the Pokémon move at the average speed for a Munchlax, and so based his dodge on that... unforunately, Munch-Munch wasn't moving at the usual Munchlax rate. That was possibly because he wasn't a usual Munchlax, if the glint of metal was anything to go by. The Buizel was struck by the Tackle, the attack dealing a very strong blow against him. He shot into the dirt, groaning in pain as he got to his feet. Connor was impressed by his opponent so far, but that wasn't going to stop him from attacking his best. "Another Sonicboom while he's still close, we're nearly there!"
Mizuki gave no sign that he had heard Connor, instead wincing as he attempted to draw himself to stand up. His trainer was gritting his teeth, unsure of whether he'd be able to win with a Pokémon like that. Mizuki was gritting his teeth too, apparently because he was in pain. He didn't seem like he was getting to his feet very sucessfully... then he quickly flipped upright, a wave of his tail sending the Sonicboom towards Munch-Munch quickly. Oh. He was tired indeed, but not that weak; he'd been faking the whole thing, hoping to catch his opponent by surprise. Had it worked?

The Munchlax's eyes widened in surprise seeing the Sonicboom coming in at such a close range. Due to the close range the attack hit dead on making the Munchlax fly in the air and hit the ground again dealing a large amount of damage to him. Getting up he got even madder. His master try to control him by telling him to use Defense Curl then Tackle attack again. Which the Munchlax ignored, he used metronome, and got grass knot. Which would have been useful if it was against him but not with him, since it dealt damage depending on weight. But the Munchlax didn't care it would hit that Buisel with whatever it had, it was even so mad that it was seeing red. Then taking careful aim it used the attack and used the attack.

Unluckily for Munch-Munch, Buizel like Mizuki were not very heavy Pokémon. Fortunatly for Munch-Munch, Mizuki was a Water type, and so Grass Knot was super effective against him. He cried out in pain as the attack made him crumple to the floor. He was feeling quite weak now... it wouldn't take much more to make him faint. He wanted to avoid that, obviously. He needed to make Munch-Munch faint, and soon. Connor could see this, and hoped the next move would finish the battle. "Mizuki, use a Water Gun!" he called, still sounding confident.
Mizuki had to admit, Connor was able to remain calm in most situations. That was admirable, right? He was certain it was a good thing to be able to keep your head. He tried to do that like the albino, calming himself and ignoring all those worries like how tired he was. Instead, he focused on his task. A Water Gun. Simple enough! He opened his muzzle, expelling a powerful jet of water at the Munchlax.

The Munchlax noticed the water gun but didn't care, the Water Gun hit him dead center, propelling him backwards, and again making him hit the ground hard. The Munchlax tried to get up but the surge of energy provided by the rage was gone. It got up barley noticing the sparks and puffs of smoke coming out from his fur. Then noticing he reached into his fur and slowly ripped out a collection of springs wires and metal, his apparent source of power and which was smoking and emitting sparks at a good clip. Throwing it down he again ignoring his master's commands to use tackle braced himself to use another Metronome crossing his fingers he hoped as the weird sound started that he would get a good attack, and got Ice Punch. Then he ran at the Buizel as fast as he could lots slower than usual but a a pretty good clip, hand put in front of him and a blueish glow upon it, aiming for a ko.

Mizuki watched in shock and disbelief as Munch-Munch reached inside himself and pulled out a few wires and stuff. Whaaaa? OK, this was definately weird. The glint of metal, the pulling out parts... was he fighting a robot? But he could use Pokémon moves and had feelings... either this was a hyper-modern, super duper robot, or some kind of cruel cyborg. Whichever, Mizuki didn't quite think it was allowed. He dodged the Ice Punch thankfully; if that had hit, he knew he would have gone down. Connor was chewing his lip with anxiety. Could he defeat Munch-Munch? Could Munch-Munch be defeated? "Come on Mizuki, we're nearly there! Water Gun!"
Mizuki was wondering whether it was possible to defeat Munch-Munch as well. After all, that would be a good explanaition as to why the grunt put such a high offer on the battle. Well, even if he went down, he knew Connor would be able to burn their lazy butts off. He smiled at the order of a Water Gun; it seemed this was very effective against Munch-Munch. After all, water and electricity didn't like each other too much, so it would be short-cicuiting him and all sorts. He krept in closer for this next Water Gun.

The Munchlax turned around as soon as the Buizel was almost behind him, however his hand was caught in a hole in a tree due to him missing Buizel. Fortunate for Buizel the water gun hit, however this made the Munchlax even more angry giving him the power to free his hand. The Water Gun's water mostly got through his coat before he could shake it off causing even more sparks and smoke, however the Munchlax couldn't care less. The Munchlax was once again hyped and angry seeing red and in the center was the Buizel. The Munchlax quickly rushed at him used Amnesia boosting his special defense then Metronome he got Thunderbolt, grinning he used it on the Buizel, knowing that this move would be super effective.

Mizuki smiled weakly as the Water Gun hit, but it was quickly gone as he saw Munch-Munch generate a Thunderbolt. Why must life be so cruel to him?! This move would definately finish him off- he couldn't afford to let it hit. Oh, this wasn't good. But at least his being weak meant that Munch-Munch was also weak. As the Thunderbolt came towards him, he braced himself, squeezing his eyes tightly shut. Connor, however, had an idea. It might just work... it was worth a try, anyway. "Mizuki, use Water Gun on the Thunderbolt, then run!" he called.
Wha? Mizuki blinked in surprise for about half a second before it clicked. Oh, right. Water and electricity didn't mix. If his Water Gun were to hit the Thunderbolt, the result would hopefully mean a lot of trouble for Munch-Munch. The result would make the stuff go wrong, and he'd already seen what happened when the Munchlax met water; why not amplify it a bit? Mizuki powered up a Water Gun, firing it at the Thunderbolt. He darted away before he could see whether or not he had been sucessful; he didn't want to be hurt by this.

The idea was correct and the Water Gun and the Thunderbolt hit, lucky for the Buizel he was far away for the combining of the two attacks caused a quite large reaction. Simply a explosion happened making sparks and water fly everywhere the Munchlax however was not too fortunate he got hit with the brunt of the reaction causing him to fly backwards and ripping off his arm and part of his facial "skin" in the process. Proving indeed a robot with his sparking arm which was lying in the bushes and the metallic stuff underneath his skin. Sparking and sending up puffs of smoke the Munchlax tried to get up, however his leg seemed to be done for, then by propping up himself up with one hand, he snarled then blew up leaving only a blast mark, some metal, and oily fluid on the ground.
The man with the red eyes looked at Conner, "Seems as if you have defeated my brother's pokemon, and i am a man of my word so I will be leaving with my brothers," Then he threw down a white colored ball which produced a slight explosion and filling the area with smoke. Then a sound came from the smoke, seeming to be the man with the red eyes voice, "But just as a souvenir I'll give you this," and the staff came out of the smoke hitting Conner in the chest sending electricity up and down his body. Then the man's voice came again, "Ta Ta for now Conner, hopefully I'll meet you again. Then a sound of a motor and the fog cleared showing a helicopter winging away form the clearing.

Connor returned the tired Mizuki and couldn't help but pull his face into the universal 'eeew' expression as Munch-Munch the Munchlax exploded. Robot or not, it looked just like he was a living creature. Not too pleasant to see him in the form of a smear on the ground. As they threw the smoke-ball thingy on the ground, the albino 'morph expected them to try a dramatic exit. That they did, but not without catching him off-guard with a painful electric shock. He doubled over, groaning. Vivime, as his daemon, could feel the pain too, and was on the ground. He scooped her up, weak and cursing the Pokéhunters.
But enough of that. There was a Ho-oh to rescue. He shared a kinship with this one, an albino like him. He unfolded his wings slightly; not to much to mean a threat, but enough to show they existed. He took his hat off too, showing his Ho-oh like crest. He smiled at the Pokémon. "Ho-oh... see, I'm like you. You can trust me, honest. Look, I even drove those men away! So... will you trust me to free you? And will you help me free all the other Pokémon in these cages?" he asked, hoping the bird would accept.

The Ho-oh looked at the trainer who apparently shared his genes, then replied, <I thank you much for defeating my captors, this cage couldn't hold me by itself bu the men helped it and kept me in> Then looking at all the other caged pokemon said, <I will help you get the other pokemon free but just wait a sec I first need to get out of this cage> Then the Ho-oh opened (His/Her's?) mouth and sprayed out flame melting the bars of (His/Her's?) cage then simply walked out of the cage. Then looking at the other pokemon cages (He/She?) simply melting off the top of all the cages realsing the pokemon. The two Loureds met up with their son, Whismur and were about to walk off when the little Whismur when he looked at his parents. Then he asked, <Mom, Dad could I go with Conner and have adventures with him?> His parents both looked at each other nodded to Whismur and he ran up to Conner asking <Can I come with you Conner I'll be a good pokemon.> then he looked up at him while giving him puppy eyes.

Connor was rather impressed with Ho-oh, but couldn't help but wonder why he/she hadn't done that earlier. He supposed it was probably to avoid one of those nasty shocks, which made sense. He grinned as he saw the little Whismur ask to travel with him on his team. Such a cute little Pokémon! He knew they were late evolvers and not exactly pretty, but they could be pretty strong and make a valuable team member. And anyway, how could he refuse this little guy? "Of course you can come with me. Here, all you have to do is get inside this Pokéball." he told him, holding out an empty Pokéball.
The 'morph then turned to Ho-oh; he'd had a thought. Route One was definately not the home of this Pokémon. Ho-ohs came from... ur... Feathered Mesa, right? That wasn't too far away, but he wanted to offer the Ho-oh something. After all, it would be missing the other Ho-oh back home, so might want to go back there. "Ho-oh, your kind live in Feathered Mesa, right? Well, that's not too far... do you want to perhaps travel with me until we get there? Don't worry, I won't make you have a Pokéball or fight or anything, I'd just keep you company and protect you from any more bad guys... what do you think?" he asked.

How do i do the box code thingy? You got a Whismur! #293- Whismur, -gender-, Lvl 15 Moves: Pound, Uproar, Astonish, Howl The Ho-oh sighed, <Well yes I'm not in my natural habitat, so to speak. The reason why is that my parents and elders were being to protective so i decided to run off.> Then shook his head, <But it all went so wrong, I got away just fine butttt, as I was flying above this forest i got bagged by the pokemon hunters in a helicopter, caged and prodded with a stick than shocked when it impacted against my wings, so I wouldn't escape.> Then looking at Conner said, <I almost lost all hope until you came, and since you share my DNA, i cant see how they got a sample, with us being so scarce and hard to find, I'd be glad to accompany you on your journey.>

ooc// Use [ code ]-stuff-[ /code ], put the stuff you want where I wrote stuff, and take out the spaces.
ic// Connor picked up Whismur's Pokéball, grinning. He was pleased to have gained a new team member, and was very surprised that Ho-oh had decided to travel with him, even if it was just for a little while. His grin grew wider. "Well, let's leave this place now. On, to Petal Town! Better things await!" he declared proudly, leading his group off to the next town.
To be continued.
